Might be showing your age here tho, Motley Crue were popular 20 years before these idiots were born, I'd be surprised if they did know who some band from the 80's are. Most normal 20 year old's not suffering from whatever disability these 2 have don't even know who Motley Crue are so no they just have no clue. I don't think they'd even know who Tupac or Biggie were, it wouldn't even surprise me if they thought rap was created by white people or that Hip-Hop is some type of food or drink.

Good points. I'll just add that the only way for young folks to learn, REALLY learn about real life type shit (other than stumbling about half blind & dumb getting scarred up an beaten down) is if us older folks practice a bit of patience & compassion & converse with them as if they are actually worth investing some time & effort into, because everyone is, & there are too many in these last cpl younger generations who never had anyone who believed in them, or sincerely encouraged them to reach for the highest values of Truth, Love, & Beauty. We can not afford to fail these kids. Because if no one steps up to be good role models, if no one takes the time to provide guidance & mentorship, then what a shameful waste of potential. And mark my words; a world filled with young ppl who feel worthless, connected to no one and nothing, who feel that their lives have no meaning or purpose, that would be a very dark, deadly & soon to be dying world.
