Looking back on some of your past vids…. Looks like a great time for sure! Buckets list item for me too! These big boys come up into the Pamlico. Have you ever caught one there or gone out to specifically target them there?

I use to chase them before I had kids. Hooked a few and landed one. Back then, and probably still, it was a huge time commitment and difficult for a weekend warrior to pattern the fish. This year has been unique in that the fish showed up early appearing up the Neuse and up the Pamlico, and then basically staying there for a month. Thus giving many anglers an opportunity to hook up and now everyone is getting into it, which is cool. I would love it if this became a regular thing. I would definitely chase them again, so fun!
