It’s weird the attitudes of those on the right, because so-called right-wing Christians have so much in common with Islam and are natural cultural and moral allies with Muslims. As the West becomes more secular and de-Christianised it seems that Christians should welcome their Muslim brothers and sisters in the public square. I have told Islamophobic Christians that you will be next in the crosshairs of secular atheism, you will be the new minority, the new marginalised group, so you should stand up against Islamophobia.

Isn't it obvious that the traditional practice of islam, or political islam, are extremely conservative in character and therefore approximate modt closely to far-Right ideologies in the Westrn context? Interestingly, the far Right is not always allergic to a hint of socialism. But human beings are individuals with their own wills and personalities, and in practice muslim politicians do inhabit all sorts of political formations.

A nonexistent god cannot bless anyone. He himself knows the SHEMA from Deuteronomy 6:4, but has no idea what it means. He thinks it is a Unitarian manifesto. The Son is present in the Old Testament (see Psalm 2 especially), and the Holy spirit is abundantly present. Jesus said in John 10:30, 'I and the Father are One.' One could go on. Anyone who cannot understand the difference between Biblical trinitarianism and pagan polytheism is not equipped to teach or give personal testimony, but is desperately confused. It's not that hard, but islamic brainwashing dulls the mind.

@@marcusonesimus3400So grateful I am that Quran, unlike Old Testament. never indulges in collective punishment of entire groups of misunderstood believers. A Muslim is expected by The Creator to have enough room in society for all Faiths, and groups, even if one disagrees with their theories. Religion, like any other field if learning, is a theory, after all, as is science. In Islam, each soul is judged by the Creator-(what equal, fellow humans think about us does not matter)-for its Deeds and consistent Faith: Quran, 17:13, “Every man’s Fate Allah has fastened on his own neck: on the Day of Judgment We shall bring out for him a Scroll, which he will see spread open.” (No killing of civilians or towns allowed in Islam). What about in your Faith? Muslims can easily live near people who believe differently and still treat them either respect. It’s not we who murder George Floyd for being black or burn a Bible for being different from our Book, surely you must know. Sura 10:104, “Say, “O ye men! If ye are in doubt as to my religion, behold! I worship not what ye worship, other than God Almighty! But I worship God Almighty! -Who will take your souls at death: I am commanded to be in ranks of The Believers….” In Islam, we are taught to have tolerance and respect for fellow Faiths and People of Book or varied backgrounds. Hope you are taught that in your ways, too: Sura 5:72, “Those who believe in the Quran, Those who follow the Jewish Scriptures, and the Sabians, (ancients), and the Christians,-ANY who believe in God Almighty and the Last Day, AND work righteousness,-on them shall be no fear, nor shall we grieve.” Torture of others, also, is not permitted by our Final Prophet, peace be on him and on Jesus and Moses and Abraham and all other 125 or so Prophets that Almighty sent to unruly humanity. 🌻 Now, Jesus is a great Prophet for Muslims, so we do not pray to one created by the Creator, but to the Creator Himself. A little study can take you a long way towards alleviating some cognitive dissonance.

A mere abstraction of philosophy may unite you for the time being, but is unable to accept anything from you, having no real existence. The God of Israel is He Who actually created and sustains the universe. Ishmael was not a prophet. Nor was muhammad. Jesus was and IS much more than a prophet. He did not hide his Divine identity. He really was crucified and really did rise from the dead. Facts are a severe inconvenience for muslims.

Why? He had access to Truth but turned to falsehood instead. I don't care about his politics, just his salvation. it says in Hebrews 9:22 that without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. The sacrificial death of Jesus is the key to human salvation. You cannot outweigh bad deeds with good and be admitted to heaven. Do you know why? (James 2:10) 'If anyone keeps the whole law yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.'

Is it bc of their ego? My guess is you were raised and indoctrinated into Islam right? I would bet my children’s lives. You didn’t take a look at all the worlds religions and decide on Islam… this never bothers you? That you could throw a dart on the world map and guess with extraordinarily high accuracy what religion a given person there would be? This should bother any intellectually honest person. When something is apparent and true and backed by evidence… the world converges on one truth… like the acceleration of gravity. This number doesn’t vary by region. If you’d been raised in Mexico you’d be catholic. If you’d been raised in certain parts of India.. you’d be Hindu. This should bother any thinking person but maybe that doesn’t describe you. Even at its most basic core these religions contradict themselves…

(John 3:19) ''This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light, fr their deeds were evil.' Just think: this guy was able to overturn in his own min the very reasonable and weighty perception that islamic terrorism is evil and proceeds from an evil religion. What mental gymnastics he must have performed to evade uch a colossal stumbling-block. For as Jesus said, 'by their fruits you will know hem.' Well, perhaps some prefer rotten fruit.

They do not belong to the Church, I assume that this is not the answer you wanted. Are you a muslim? If so, mend your own clothes and stop them from falling off your body, before telling others that theirs are tattered. Islamic narratives about 'issa' are hard to excel in regard to corruption of fact and disrespect for what is holy. As it says in 2nd Timothy 3:16. all Scripture is inspired by God. At the time, the Old Testament was complete and the New Testament was in the process of being written, building on the foundation of the Old. You do not even accept the authority of the Old Testament, do you? Nor do you acknowledge the the Spirit of God, though he is present throughout the Old Testamen, do yout? You have not yet come to believe in the One God., the God of Israel. Instead, you people have fashioned an abstract, theoretical god, an idol in all but name.

It made me clear eyed to the atrocities happening in Palestine. It is a human injustice. I was not tainted by any religion that might have links to zionist churches or organisations in America. Natinalism - is another major source of Islamophobia since the colonial period - has also effected muslims from within (as left-wing/ liberalism as an ideology did) like a poison. It was the main tactict played by enemies of Islam (and by extension enemies of Muslims) during the colonial period to trigger divide in the Muslim ummah mainly to destroy the caliphate - as a result causing major chaos globally. Note: having caliphate that politically unites the muslim ummah is also a religious obligation upon muslims, even though there were some rulers who did not pledged their allegiance to those calip before colonialism - but common muslims have considered them the caliphs of Islam - beig muslim rulers they did not challenge the ottomans infact cooperated them. Unfortunately today the most of the rulers in the middle-east and asia have been puppets of the west.

I agree with your first sentence. Sadly, false liberals in the West, who care more for popularity than for freedom of conscience, have bought into its use/misuse. But to pathologize genuine differences of belief is deeply insulting, and beyond that, contrary to the principles of modern professional psychiatry. But I wish that more of you were bad muslims, because a religion which provides a veneer of respectability through 'good works' cannot address the root problem of humanity. What is that, except our sinful rebellion against God? As the prophet Jeremiah writes: (17:9) 'The heart is deceitful beyond all else and is desperately sick; who can understand it?' How can God admit into his presence anyone unclean? Yet we are all unclean. Therefore since the dawn if history there has been one way to obtain God's forgiveness, according to the principle of substitutionary atonement, the innocent dying on behalf of the guilty. Therefore Abel's animal sacrifice was accepted, whereas Cain's offering of vegetables was not. The righteous sacrifices commanded through Moses also involved the shedding of blood. At no time has God ever changed this requirement. But he did satisfy it to the utmost by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, yet without sin. (Romans 5:8) 'For God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.' This, like the Resurrection which followed, happened in fulfilment of Hebrew prophecy and set the stam of Divine authority upon Jesus' ministry. Of course I am fully aware that muslims do not accept these facts, but many of them have not yet had fair opportunity to investigate them. Better to know them sooner rather than later.

The truth: A lot of prophets, but only one God that incarnated, brought truth and made life possible again as it was intended from the beginning. Jesus is the incarnation of God. God in the flesh. He therefore shows the very heart of God towards mankind. Healing the sick, raising the dead, casting out demons. He is the exact image of the invisible God. In Gen 1:27 we were made in this same image. Because of the fall we lost this divine image and likeness. But quess what. Jesus restores the glory we lost in Adams fall back to us. The same spirit that dwelled in Jesus is freely avaible through the perfect bloodsacrifice of Jesus. If you let Him, you will be transformed in to your original identity again. God has come full circle. Amazing grace, amazing love. I prophesy everlasting awakening, divine life (walking in unselfish godly power and love: as Jesus) over all of mankind. How could we have ever ran away from the One so lovely.

Since then, we humans are able to go from our tabula rasa /clean slate since infancy. Can you seriously believe that a beautiful, innocent baby is a filthy sinner? If you do, I’d worry about how you’d raise that innocent babe. Ask yourself, why did Jesus of the Bible, pray to God the Father, (so to speak)? Why did he fast? For himself? Why did he abstain from filthy, corrupt ways? Why did he obey the Law of Moses? Why did he say, Shalom, (Salaam/Peace), upon entering every room? Why did he beg God Almighty to rescue him from Belief-Phobes of his time? And why do you suppose Muslims live more like Jesus of the Bible than Christians who supposedly read part of the Bible?

From Arab imperialists. And we know (from Kwame Nkrumah among others) that African cooperate was necessary for the slave trade to work. The Arabs were also active as slavers in East Africa until the end of the 19th century. There are still East African women working as indentured servants to the Saudis, unpaid for months on end. Moral values of thought and conduct are often opposed. Then they confuse what are rules that they have to comply with like everyone else with Islamophobia. You are so wrong, if I too looked at Islam`s original sources ( quran and hadith literature) without context and a broad understanding of the bigger picture, I too could easily fall in the trap that many non muslims as well as some muslims fall into and take a very particular statement or ruling and apply or understand it out of context. You will be surprised to find that there is much you share with Islam in terms of its morals and values. The worship and yearning for the One God, leaving the crazy consumerism and conflict of this world to engage in the remembrance of that One God and through this the elevation of ones soul and ones humanity, being kind to ones parents, when they are of old age not to choose the care/nursing home that you want to put them in but take them into your own home, to be kind and charitable to the poor, the weak the stranger, the traveller, to give our mothers, daughters, wives their God given rights, to protect the rights of minority faith groups enshrined in our shariah, treat animals with kindness, to gain knowledge, to regularly fast to cleanse ones soul and physical body, for men and women to interact with each other with respect and modesty, to be a counter to muscular liberalism and promiscuity where anything and everything goes, where individualism is the supreme god. I could go on. And yes the world is full of muslims who give Islam a bad name. Islam is such a rich and nuanced way of life that in a population close to 2 billion people you will always find practices and ways that are offensive to you. As a practicing muslim I come across much in the muslim world that I disagree with, that is not the fault of Islam but some of the people who interpret it their own way. Contrary to what you say Islam is pretty tolerant to a degree and highly civilised but you refuse to see it and instead focus on some dark corner in the world of Islam and see what you want to see.

Yes, you gave the world LGBTQ, gadgetry garbage, trash fast food, mass obesity, soulless glass stumps for architecture, modernization and suicide rates going up hand in hand, old age homes and dysfunctional families, and an irreversibly financialzed way of life where every single aspect of life is seen in economic terms. You no longer see a forest, you see lumber. You don't have passengers, you have customers. There are no students, they are clients of the university. This is a sick society on its way down. The Muslims gave the world the Taj Mahal and other sublime architectural wonder, technology that is deeply linked to actual needs of people, women's right to life, education, inheritance and spiritual equality, the best-tasting and best-looking traditional food in the world, strong families, and reason and religion not on conflict but mutually confirming each other. We have real gold, you have nothing but gold foil wrapped on lead.

Yep, it's OK to have four wives and a harem and visit prostitutes as well, if you are a muslim man. Apparently paradise is a continuation of the same. So to whom does the stoning of adulterers apply? Women presumably. I just can't understand why some muslim women are in denial about their own systemic oppression. The Old testament has its heroines, despite the patriarchal society of those times. Already in the New Testament we see examples of women in Christian ministry.

Islamophobia is NOT a form of racism, although opposition to isla may coincide with racial animus or vice versa. in some cases. Islamophobia is usually not a phobia either. The term might better be described as a smear, a rough accusation by which muslims assert their ambition to be heard above other competing voices in the public arena. Religion and 'race' are entirely different questions. In the light of modern scientific anthropology it may even be asked whether 'race' is a viable category by which humann identity may be defined, given the enormous complexity of overlapping biological factors involved. However simple minds search for simple categories and simple narratives which make acquisition of the appearance of wisdom less of a chore, and give a ring of authority to fatuous, self-serving arguments.

Islamophobia isn't a word, stop using it. There is nothing irrational about not liking Islam, it's intolerant and violent. Using it just promotes the opposing right wing (even though Islam is as fascist as it comes)

Islam vs anti-Islam nationalists. Islam will win. No need to make a difficult example, the home country of TRT, Turkiye, was the result of Turkification after the attempts to dеstrоу Islam by the Byzantines. Ended up annihilating the Byzantines and fully Islamise Anatolia and Western Thrace. There are many stories to be learnt. The more you resist Islam, the faster you will be Islamised
