Agree. It's worth pointing out that Robert Spencer has no academic or scholarly credentials whatsoever. He is an Islamophobe turned author and has been criticised by clergy in the Catholic Church because of his views on Islam. He left the church in 2016 to join the Greek Orthodox Church instead. Quran tells that there will be people who will deny the truth and their heart are blocked from the truth because Allah(swt) the creator knows what in their heart and minds. Even Jewish Rabbis like one Tovia Singer had repeatedly said on his KZread channel, Christianity was built on lies, and he provided proof that many hebrew words in the bible were changed to different meanings when translated to English. How to take Christianity seriously like this? He even said that the concept of trinity is an abomination. This, coming from a Rabbi that shares the same bible with Christians, is damning.

For many non-Muslims the word ‘submission’ is synonymous with 'fundamentalism'. Islam means submission to the creator. Every one on earth is searching for a lord to guide him and makes his wishes come true. Men erroneously took Lords other than the creator. Non-Muslim religious leaders argue there is one creator but there are Lords with controlling powers. Who controls the universe? Rational evidence is provided in The Quran. The one who claims the power to control something he does not own bears the burden of proof. The creator did not create the world and leave its day to day management to somebody else. This is the default assumption. _(Muhammad), ask them, "Have you thought about what you worship besides God? Show me which part of the earth they have created. Do they have a share in the creation of the heavens? Bring me a Book, revealed before this Quran, or any other proof based on knowledge to support your belief, if indeed you are truthful"._ (The Quran, The Curved Sand-hills, verse 4). Whom shall I accept as Lord to guide me? Rational evidence is provided in The Quran. Every TV comes with a guide from the manufacturer. The creator created us he knows what is good and bad for us. Wisdom tells you eat pork as long as its not proven harmful by the FDA. Lord Buddha does not know that the swine meat is dangerous because he is not the designer. Wisdom failed here. _Say: 'Is there any of your associates who guides to the truth?' Say: 'only Allah (the creator) guides to the truth’; Isn’t the one who guides to the truth worthier to be followed, or he who guides not unless he is guided? What then ails you, how you judge?_ (The Quran, Jonah, verse 35) In the early creation, the creator made men testify ‘Am I not your Lord?’ and they said ‘Yes we have testified’. (The Quran, The Heights, verse 172) _So [Prophet] as a man of pure faith, stand firm and true in your devotion to the religion. This is the natural disposition God instilled in mankind--There is no altering God’s creation-and this is the right religion, though most people do not realize it._ (The Quran (Oxford World’s Classics), The Romans, verse 30) To sum up the above, we are driven to accept Islam because of we are equipped with intellect and intuition to accept Islam. The creator made us testify in the early creation. _If anyone seeks a religion other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him: he will be one of the losers in the Hereafter._ (The Quran (Oxford World’s Classics). Chapter name: The Family of Imran. Verse 85)

For indeed it is not the eyes that grow blind, but it is the hearts which are within the bosoms that grow blind…..surah Hajj no.22 verse no.46. (The Quran)…… Allah has mentioned the heart at least 166 times in the Quran . When the truth sinks in the heart, the eyes can then see .May Allah guide every one that turns to Him for guidance ….

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength. this is the first commandment." Reconcile the above and give me your conclusion? A-Jesus is 100% God but used the word 'son of man' to hide the fact that he is God. B-Jesus means he is 100% man and 100% God. C-There is material textual contradiction. They cannot be reconciled. You are claiming Islamic preachers were caught lying for choosing C. Isnt it?

Verse 9-12) what is the comic dust? 1-It is smoke like. 2-it is the raw material from which planets like the Earth are formed. I listened intently to the whole conversation. And when he was describing the moment of accepting his shahada, it was very heart wrenching. I became very emotional. A love flowed in my heart for my brother who live far away from my country. How lucky he is, the Creator has responded to his call. He is indeed a beloved servant of Allah.

When God entered the soul in Adam body soul asked to be brought back one day so which god promised so the death was creed .. we come from dust we go back to dust is a promise God made to mother earth .

Jesus (as) only worshiped the Father alone vs Christians worship the Trinity Jesus (as) testifies that ONLY the Father is the only true God vs Christians who regard the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as God Jesus (as) was for the law of Moses (as) vs Christians who don't practice them Jesus (as) was for forgiveness without human sacrifice or blood through repentance vs. Christians which introduced polytheists human sacrifice into religion as a foundation and that without blood no forgiveness can be obtained. Do not come to me with "yes, but the Jews always had to make animal sacrifices ..." First that was for unintentional sins and that was one way of others... even flowers as sacrifice were enough. Repentance - ruly repenting whatever you did and resolving to never do it again, ask God to forgive you and so on. ´´ etc.

No real god of that name exists. it is a construction of human philosophy. God revealed Himself to Abraham and hix descendants through Isaac and Jacob, NOT Ishmael or Esau. Read Genesis and get straightened out. Jesus, Son of God, is the culmination of the Messianic line.

39:12 Reading from Quran when it falls off the shelf among other books. it’s a “miracle” Quran (Surah (22)Al-Hajj -46) “Have they never journeyed through the land so that they have hearts to understand, or ears to hear with? It is not the eyes, but the hearts in the chests that are blind.” أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَتَكُونَ لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌ يَعْقِلُونَ بِهَا أَوْ آذَانٌ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا ۖ فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَعْمَى الْأَبْصَارُ وَلَٰكِنْ تَعْمَى الْقُلُوبُ الَّتِي فِي الصُّدُورِ

Tears came to my eyes when Joram said about the surah that said its the heart which is blind....my tears popped out.... Its the realization how Allah is guiding someone who has a beautiful heart that searches the truth... Subhanallah!!!! Allah is truly the Ar Rahman..... Angels must be celebrating in the heavens when Joram woke and realized that he is a Muslim now... amazing story indeed!!!!

The chapters and verses of the Qu'ran comes with explanation, interpretation, context and commentary for a more clear understanding of what is being read. For example, we pray for God to keep us guided on the Straight Path, and not like those who are misguided (we believe Christians are good but have gone astray when it comes to saying Jesus is God, instead of a Prophet). I could cherry-pick the Bible and throw around verses that would upset most people, but without proper context, it would be unfair to do that. "Let a woman learn in silence with all submissiveness. I permit no woman to teach or have authority over men; she is to keep silent. For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. Yet woman will be saved through bearing children, if she continues in faith and love and holiness, with modesty." 1 Timothy 2:11-15 Deuteronomy 13:6-10 New International Version 6 If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, 7 gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), 8 do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not spare them or shield them. 9 You must certainly put them to death. Your hand must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people. 10 Stone them to death, because they tried to turn you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. Don’t associate with non-Christians. Don’t receive them into your house or even exchange greeting with them. 2 John 1:10 False Jews are members of “the synagogue of Satan.” Revelations 2:9, 3:9 So if a Christian reads these, and thinks this should apply to today's world, what would they do? I would say they can justify killing every non-believer. See, if I cherry-pick parts of a book without explanation from someone with more knowledge, then I am doomed. That is also the case with Islam. There is context to every thing and also you have to find clear proof without bias and wrong opinion. The main principle that is taught is to worship ONE God. The same message as beloved Jesus (peace be upon him) taught, and Moses, Abraham, Noah, etc. Our religions have many things in common, and it is unfair to attack Islam when I doubt you read the entire Bible (is it 66 books? I am unsure. Have you read both Old and New Testament?) You should ask yourself the most important question, did Jesus ask you to worship him or did he want you to worship God The Creator? There is no point in carrying on our conversation or debating when you are filled with attacks and not genuine in trying to learn. You are actually a very poor representative for Christianity and it is a turn off. I see more Christians now are filled with hate and rude manners, it is a shame that you don't learn from beloved Jesus in how to treat people. If we cannot agree on Jesus' roll, then it is pointless to talk about the little things. Jesus has not instructed you to worship him. It is a grave sin. I urge you to check out Paul's other videos on how Christianity changed it's message over the years. Monotheism is the only way, and the only thing to save yourself from Hell Fire is to Worship God Alone. You want to attack Islam while the Christian books are filled with many things that would shock people. I won't attack the Christian Bible because I do not know what is true or what has been added, but I can point out the noticeable commandments. Jesus never claimed divinity. Old Testament stressed the Oneness of God. Jesus used to prostrate to his Creator. @Martin Ramsbottom I don't know who that is, what I go based on is the Qu'ran and Hadith. I can also draw inspiration from Bible verses and The First of the 10 Commandments. I don't need a PHD to understand the concept of One God. There is nothing more simple and pure than that. Ask yourself who did Moses worship? And Abraham? May you be guided to sincere truth and live your life without ego and an open heart. My mom's family is Christian btw, and my dad's Muslim. I've been to church when I was young, was taught the Lord's prayer, etc. I did my own personal research, as I am instructed by God to READ, and acquire knowledge. It is without doubt that Jesus, peace be upon him, is a righteous Prophet of God, and was born through a miraculous birth by the virgin Mary. Jesus will return and will settle the argument between Muslims and Christians over his status. I suggest you read Chapter 19 in Qu'ran called 'Maryam' which explains how Jesus was born and how he brought glad tidings to the people and the message of worshipping One Creator.

I don't know why but one of my favourite bits was the very end... "Salaamu aleikum" "wa aleikum asSalaam". Another was that he's grateful he had time-life to repent and submit. Joram's huge grin at taking shahada. The woo of the Quran dropping and opening to just the right ayah (a familiar happening). What a wonderful contribution he made and makes. God is great.

Your experience of Islam is one big slap in the face of hatred. That's an excellent educational project you have there, brother Joram ! Why not launch a TV channel as well to educate a maximum of older adults ? I know it won't be easy, but you have nothing to lose !

Joran Van Klaveren was one of the more charismatic and intelligent member of the PVV. As part of the PVV platform charter, all their members were to read the Quran to find dirt about it so that they could get a movement against it. But you can see how Quran changed his life and he accepted Islam. Alhamdulillah.

Because those christians that i personally knows are spreading the message of love thy enemy kind of stuff. That is why when sometimes i showed them comments made by people like you in islamic channels, they straight away said they are certainly not like that and separates themselves from christians like yourself.

@againstsuperstitions fv: You got it all wrong! The Quran does not mean that Muslims should slay the pagans. Please read the whole Surah and understand the context. If your have an open and honest mind you will realize that your understanding is all wrong. I have read the whole Quran and a lot of Hadith and my understanding is the same as the understanding of millions of Muslims in the world that the Quran teaches us to be compassionate, just, and kind; and that there is no compulsion in religion. Your adamant and incorrect understanding does not matter a jot. You are not being compelled to accept Islam. Many are reading the Quran and understanding Islam and changing their views towards Islam. Many are also converting to Islam. I congratulate them!

The moment the Quran fell off the shelf and opened up with the verse , “ Its not your eyes that are blind but it’s your heart”. This was the turning moment for him . Some thing similar was narrated by Mohammad Asad . After his travels through the Arab countries and before his coming in to fold of Islam, he said that back in Germany he was going through the Quran one evening. It was dinner time so he went out with his wife for dinner leaving the copy of Quran open. On his return he went back and saw the Quran open and came across this verse, “ What have you done with the boon of life that We have given you.” This was turning point for him and accepted Islam. He said he still doesn’t know how that verse turned up in front of him ? The similarity here is astonishing, whether it’s a coincidence or divine intervention? Allah knows best.

Thanks Paul for bringing this amazing interview to the public. I have heard of now I can call Brother Joram before he became a Muslim. It's a amazing to see him talk about his experience and he remind us of the early enemies of Islam who entered Islam after many years of animosity like Omar Ibno Alkhttab, Khaled ibno Alwalid and many other who became great Muslims and have served Islam in ways that even the first Muslims haven't. The part where he talks about praying for guidance really hit hard..I used to debate people from every religion then when I'd go home and pray like he did I would ask "whoever created me, please guide me, show me the way" Alhamdulillah I've been Muslim for 11 years now

I have been hearing about this guy for years now but finally got a chance today to watch him tell his extraordinary story. Thank you very much for hosting these interviews.

I can't thank you enough Uncle Paul, this comes as a bonus, as i was reading his book recently. Extremely helpful conversation!! Joram's journey is an incredible one, no doubt. And also what you quoted about people like Robert Spencer, it's so true that "it's not the eyes that are blind but the hearts". And only sincere efforts to truth can lift this vail. Sadly he like many others are mislead by the Roman Catholic presentation of the trinity which most grew up with and accept it as truth. True Christianity believes in ONE God, YHVH....
