ABOUT THE SPEAKER -
Abdur Raheem Green was born in Dar-es-salaam in Tanzania. His father was a colonial administrator in the then extant British Empire. By the time he was walking the old colonies were getting their independence, and his family moved back to the UK. He was sent to a Roman Catholic Monastic boarding school, Gilling Castle and then onto Ampleforth College. It was there that he really started to question what life was all about and how much sense the traditions he was being brought up with really made.
It was while he was working in the City (London) that his delving into every aspect of spirituality, philosophy and psychology came to a head. It was then when he picked up a copy of the Quran and upon reading it he was convinced that it was revelation from God, and thus started his journey into Islam. This was in 1987. Since that time he has been involved in letting others know about Islam.
He is well known for his efforts at the renowned "Speaker's Corner" in London's Hyde Park. Currently, he is engaged in different activities including media work (Peace TV and Islam Channel)

Very true! That is what it meant by "Bismilahi Rahaman Rahim". Bismilahi- Anything we Intend to do whether good or bad is by his permission. Rahaman- He Allah is the Creator of believers as well as disbelivers, for that reason there is no distinction between this two groups of people, He loves all the same. Rahim- Goes only for those that acknowlede & worship Him in this present world. In other words "bismilahi raman rahim" is the defination of His love, mercy, & Justice...
This speech gives one so much hope. I see islam has made its way around the world and the true message it propagates is not one of terrorism but love affection and peace the more I hear about it the more it makes sense. Peace and love people...

Allaah is the greatest. The message of Islam has reached the whole world. So haters please stop hating an please look into this beutiful universal message of the one and only true God (Allaah)

that is your opinion and you are entitled to it ... muslims believe that God has prescribed for us only what is best for us, in terms of worship, every act of ibadah ( any action which pleases God, acts of the heart and of the limb ) has been prescribed to us ... everything from how to pray, eat, go to the bathroom, every aspect of life is accounted for so we know how to deal with things... ur argument does not account for helping people deal with worldly tests ...

Judaism, Christianity and Islam are all monotheistic religion. Please don't confuse yourself with Hindus, Buddhists and others. You will soon go back to your creator. Spend few hours and learn about your creator.
but when you die , you will come back to your creator Allah. then you will know.
