I thought the same thing when I first got into Islam but I went ahead and accepted it. I will admit that at that time I gone from not knowing if God exists or not to having no doubt that he exists and let me tell you it was pretty hard for me as well. After learning more about Islam and doing what I am supposed to do and letting go of the things I am supposed to, I feel more at ease and happier.This feeling will convince you to have faith eventually. It is a process, it doesn't happen overnight.

As an atheist I would recommend everyone read the Koran.

In fact, I'm pretty sure that "judeo-christian" is a term that was taken by a journalist who must have heard it in France. "Judéo-chrétien" is a well known term in France and I think that this term has been taken recently (by the 60's) by the jewish community in French universities to make a sort of alliance with the christian community of France, which is most of the french people. To understand all of that you must know the war of Algeria.

Hm..I was going to explain why I think that this term came back in France in the 60's, but it's kinda difficult to explain all of it. But I think that it was to make a distinction between the jews and the christians on one side and the muslims (who were the Algerian people immigrants) on the other side. The real purpose was to ensure that there was a difference of opinion between the integration of Jews in comparison with that of Muslims in France. French racism.

I pray that muslims born into muslim families leave their unIslamic Habits, Customs, and mentality behind and become truly Islam with the Prophet and the earliest generation of Muslims as their role model.

Just remember that Muslims love Jesus (alaihi salaam) as a prophet and that Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) has no need for partners; He doesn't beget, nor was He begotten.

@sube3 lol actually...believe it or not...but he was security :) With it being such a sensitive topic (especially with EDL and BNP members who might have turned up and disrupted the whole thing, for the welfare of the community, we had security on the entrances. Can never be too careful :)

And I think that this term who had come back (in my opinion) in the 60's to discriminate the Algerian immigrants who were muslims, has come back again lately in french journalism and then in western journalism to disciminate once again the muslims, with the conditions in which we are familiar with but not with the same objectives. Back in the 60's, the bad people were the arabs (in France) , Islam was just a way to stigmatize them. Now the real ennemy is Islam and muslims.

Alhamdulillah for ur efforts in studying the religion, That faith ur talking abt is the essence and im not suprised that satan is standing in ur way and why not, that is satan's Job. Brother, Islam is the religion of all God's prophets, previous scriptures had been changed. God sent the final Messenger (prophet Mohammed PBUH) with pure God's words to mankind (Noble Quran). Who will believe in God his all messengers started from Adam up to prophet Mohammed PBUH, and believe in books given to God's prophets and believe that the NOBLE QURAN is the final God's revelation to mankind which has to be followed will enter paradise.
