Volk trains year round even when he’s not in camp he doesn’t just sit on his ass. A first round knockout has nothing to do with him not having a full camp. Ur forgetting he made Charles a guy who has literally cleaned the division tap and make the fight look completely uncompetitive. Quit using this volk being a 145er as an excuse he’s literally fought at welter weight before. Volk doesn’t walk around @ 145,155 or even 170! He walks around at like 180. Islam is a monster and so is Leon. I wanna see them fight.

Leon’s wrestling is piss poor. Colby dominated him in the wrestling with 5 min of control time with a fractured limb. Each time Leon tried to reverse Colby would outwit him. I’d put my house on an uninjured Colby or ANY chain wrestler/ Dagistan guy beating Leon I mean ANY.

Could also have an interim fight if they want. The only reason I would doubt the fight happening is because there’s Ramadan before UFC 300. So likely no training for Makhachev.

Both of these guys have improved so much that it becomes one of the most exciting fights you could book. Leons striking was always good and his wrestling has gotten elite. Islams wrestling was always good but his striking has become deadly. If theres a superfight at 300, i hope its this.

A fight between these 2 wouldn't even need a press conference just let them show up and fight both are humble guys and don't need the press conference to talk trash they will let their skills talk

I'd say Aspinal is the best fighter to come out if England. He started training bjj when he was 7 then started wrestling and striking a few years later. He's way more well rounded than Edwards.

You lot are forgetting Michael Bisping, neither Leon nor Aspinall are at his level as best to come out of England. Bisping fought killers and didn’t lose much. And won the belt with one eye whilst still fighting killers before that championship fight.

Nah I like Islam but he is simply too small, it’s a whole different ball park at 170, it’s 15 lbs up not 5 not 10, 15. And Leon walks around 205 when he’s not fighting wherelse Islam is only 185-190
