His striking coach was on the Russian Olympic Tae Kwon Do team his name is Seyfula Magomedov so of course he has good kicking. His main coach is Magomed Bagandov who is head of Nurmagomedov MMA school, go follow them they deserve to be known.

Still remember the time when the kids were crying that he got a title fight "too early". People, he got the title fight early because literally everybody was avoiding him, now you understand why.

@@user-iy3gb1sp2w Islam was the winner in my eyes but not in the way the above person said, it was a back and forth fight with Volk 2 rounds for sure (2nd was tough but for Volk and 5th definitely Volk). But head kick was somewhat a weakness of Volk (Islam didn't test him enough in the first fight most likely of distance management from Volk, props to him) and if it was a full camp, he could have dealt with it better.

@@enriquemendoza2700 I mean Volk was has defeated a lot of wrestlerd throighout his career. You can confidently say, he cleared the featherweight division. Islam wasn't aiming a lot for takedowns in the fight because he tried it in the beginning and it didn't work. Didn't effectively work in Australia either. Volk should've seen it coming and it looks more like he predicted Islam to give a lowkick because Islam set it up the entire fight.

And right before the head kick, Islam is constantly feinting the takedown by slightly dropping his level, causing Volk to take steps back. And yes Islam was setting up the head kick by going low then high. Sorry if I’m coming off rude lol

Already did after he twatted Oliveira and fought evenly on the feet with Volk. People clown Islam in favour of Khabib but they're not the same, for better or worse. Khabib's chain wrestling and ground and pound maulings were better but Islam's striking is far superior to Khabib.

Khabib Nurmagomedov will beat all the skills with only one skill "on the ground" with dominant passion without any cuts or bruise , everyone knows his gameplan but no one can stop him , thats what makes him the G.O.A.T of the sport .
