And another thing when you read Matthew 21 God uses Jesus and prophesy to them and tell them the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and it's going to be given to another nation that will bear fruit In other words it wasn't for the Jews only. But after that what nation was Jesus talking about he was talking about every nationality Arab, Hebrews, Latin American people people from Europe from Asia now those who believe in the message of the Messiah the Christ the kingdom of God was going to belong to them so it wasn't just the Jews like you saying yes it does say that but it was for them because God was dealing with them but then God took the kingdom away from them and this time is given to everybody so that's the wrong teaching that even Islam teaches and I go to the mosque and I teach the sisters and brothers there this is why I got a lot of Muslims right now they reading the gospel and the beginning to it in a different light I am trying to get them to understand that this was the purpose for him to come for Israel first but the kingdom was taken away from them and if you don't believe me read Matthew chapter 21 the kingdom of God was taken away from them and now everyone can become part of this Kingdom because now the kingdom was going to be given to a nation that will bear fruit

Yes you Christian will be locked by the alfadi n Jay Smith not the muslim. Islam in Arabic word, submitting to oneness of Allah, All the prophets from Adam down to jesus are submitting, surrendering to oness of God. Since Islam was preserve to the last prophet Muhammad & in arabic languages therefore you could not found any word of ISLAM or MUSLIM from the previous prophets since these word in Arabic & there's no Arabic languages existed during the prophets time. But the meaning of ISLAM was already existed from Adam down to jesus. By simply all the previous prophets surrendered, submitted to the command of Allah, therefore in Arabic word, they were a MUSLIM because of their submission to the will of Allah. Why Allah did not mention the name of his religion during the previous prophets? Allah telling us this life just a test, to test mankind if they believe to Allah or not, then Allah did not mention the name of his religion due to test. Since everyone pass the test then everyone receive the paradise as a reward for them & then the he'll fire is empty. But the only evidence he present is kalima(his words) that was revealed to all prophets LIKE the his words about THE ONESS OF ALLAH. I posted a comment following the previous episode 5 about how my experience living in Jordan 25 years ago was beginning to link in with your talks. On one occasion my wife and I took a trip to St Katherine’s Greek monastery in Sinai where we saw a copy of Mohamed’s signature (the famous hand) on an edict that was framed and hung inside the cathedral. When we asked one of the monks what it was all about, he told us that Mohamed had visited the monastery on his flight from Palestine to Mecca. This tied in with the story I had heard whilst living in Jordan. I had been told by some Jordanian scholars that Mohamed was being trained as a Christian bishop in Palestine but had to flee to Arabia because he was part of a sect that had stopped believing in the Trinity and as a result the Byzantine authorities were stamping out heretics. I was informed that all this was recorded in a book written in Arabic which is not talked about by Arab Christians for fear of reprisals. Perhaps you are aware of this book? It was also pointed out to me that as a result of Mohamed’s training in the church, he made sure that the Quran included reference to the Virgin Mary and the virgin birth of Jesus along with clear instructions that any icons or mosaics depicting the Virgin Mary and Jesus should not be destroyed. I can't help but wonder why, if all of these accounts of Muhammad are later developments of various authors, why is so much of it filled with and excusing the 'prophet's' immoral behavior? Those details seem both oddly specific and incongruous with the image of a piety they're trying to project... Then again, their ideology was militant and expansionist, most converts did so at the point of a sword or under a shackle, and the majority of the population at the time would be too illiterate to study their scriptures enough to note the inconsistencies and sheer evil contained within.

I agree that Ignorance, illiteracy were predominant factors. Also the early conquests, holy wars. Even those period of turbulence, Islam continued to grow throughout the world, because like other religions it filled a need , gave people a community to belong to, with moral codes, submitting to one GOD , fasting, the cleansing of the body and the soul. Being kind and generous to your neighbor. All those things continue to the growth of Islam. All these religions whether Islam, Judaism or Christianity are man made, careful reading of their texts reveal that they are full of contradictions.

Muslims claim that Issa (Jesus) was a Muslim prophet and he is mentioned quite a lot in the Koran but two essential things about Jesus are never mentioned (1)How he emphasized sexual purity and (2)His commands to be pacifistic and not resort to violence.I wonder why these 2 salient features about Jesus are never mentioned.I think everyone knows the answer!

According to your own scriptures Jesus was afraid to face his enemies he was abused,insulted spat on and never opened his mouth.This is not the case with Muhammad p.b.u.h. he was not afraid to face his enemies he stood up against persecution,oppression, injustice and won he was a brave warrior and a supreme leader.

Kaaba at Mecca was a pagan's temple, before the so called Prophet Muhammad established Islam in 7th Century. According to Hindu belief, Hindu God Siva was the main deity of this temple (Kaaba). According to Hindu belief, Black stone at Kaaba is the "Siva Lingam", which is commonly seen in Hindu temples in India and is originally in black color. Ordinary Muslims believe that, this stone become black after absorbing the sins of Muslims. This is one of the superstitious beliefs of Muslims. The evidence of the relation between the Hindu God Siva and Islam, is that in both the Crescent (Half Moon) can be seen with the Hindu God Siva and in Islam as a symbol of their relation. This is a great proof, that the Hindus are claiming that, Kaaba at Mecca was a temple of Hindu God Siva. Similarly Hindus are used to go around the Sanctum-Santorum (Sree Kovil) of their temple when they visit the temple is also done by Muslims, when they visit Kaaba during Hajj pilgrimage.

At what point did the author of this original post suggest having been shaken beyond comprehension.? Tisk, tisk, young man.!! Distinctions ought to be made on occasion, and you can be certain that one said occasion is now. One can simultaneously lament the state of affairs within an educational institution, or a propagated narrative long held by any one particular group, while also accepting that any information known prior may not have been complete in it's being. This is actually quite a common occurrence, or at least it has been throughout history, seeing it summed up by stating thus; knowledge is not set, rather it evolves and expands as each new piece of data is incorporated into the existing mix. The information being presented in this very video, likely not even watched nor fact checked on your behalf, can be quantified quite easily... if one but possesses the desire to educate oneself, regardless of where said education may lead... and even if it leads to the polar opposite direction of muhammad. Muslims are complaining that a Jewish translation of the Qur'an did not have the name Muhammad in it. The answer is simple. The Jewish translators knew that Muhammad was not a proper name but a title meaning the blessed or praiseworthy one and translated it as such, instead of pretending that it was a personal name. It is only in the Qur'an 4 times even in the Arabic language. Any other occurrences, especially in translations, are corruption of the original text.

During that period of time, the Arian heresy, the Monophysite heresy, the Monotheletism and Iconoclasm were coexisting to fight against the Byzantine Church. The author of Qur’an was surely a theologian who belonged to those heretical sects. He had deep knowledge in Bible, but he was against the Orthodox doctrines of the Byzantine Church. So he wrote Qur’an to protest agar the Church, just like Martin Luther did to the Roman Church. He was using probably the Nabataean Aramaic to write his first draft. Mohammad was a character under his pen.

However, the word Muhammad could be a title as it does mean Blessed One, which could be applied to Jesus or the Caliph in charge at the moment (keeping a watchful eye out for assassins).

This is my opinion. The hadiths and sira were written for reasons such as 1) the inconsistencies of the Quran 2) the jiltedness of the Quran 3) the need for a narrative timeline not in the Quran 4) the need for a background and history for the "messenger" of the Quran to legitimize him 5) the need for a more humanly pictured prophet so people might be engaged. Then the team creating these stories are not necessarily very good people, so put in tales that aren't very good. Also others are resentful because they are being forced to, or are Persians resentful of their advanced culture being subsumed under the Arab regime. So you get some cleverly mocking the prophet, some slyly showing he's a false one. But also the coarseness of some is because the people writing these may not have high standards, and some of the Quranic material is of the world in it;s tone, and that has to be justified.

In chapter 18 of the Quran, the sun is also mentioned as rising and setting but everyone knows the sun doesn’t rise or set. The sun is stationary. It is only a Metaphorical, a figure of speech. If "Muhammad" was a title, I feel like it might have been Abu Bakr. It fits with being alive until 634 AD and yet failing to conquer Jerusalem despite enormous messianic expectations from the Arabs. I also think there was no Rashidun Caliphate but instead it was divided between Hashemites and Ummayads for many decades and thus the emerging division between Shia and Sunni.

If it wasn't the religious fervor of Islam, What caused the initial burst that began the expansion of what we now call Islam

After listening to these two one begins to wonder why such a trader from the desert such as Muhammad has been elevated to become a prophet and who has created Islam and why so many 'fools' believe in the religion. The Arabs during the period of a millenium years before Muhammad were really backward and Arabia was a backwater of history and civilization. Few people could read/write and they had no proper writing tools. It was really awe-inspiring when either Muhammad or Islam came into the world scene and came into contact with the so-called civilized surrounding societies. The rapidity followers of the new religion engulfed the surroundings was to say the least spectacular and the growth has after a brief check still continues unabated. Isn't this a cause for fear to the older religions and cultures ?

Can someone tell me where Al Fadi came from? I stumbled upon Jay Smith a few weeks ago, but am I correct in understanding Al Fadi is from Saudi Arabia? I'm new to this so playing catch up. I just like to know about who I'm listening too. I'm a non believer and this stuff is great.

Why I am a Muslim. In my soul I always knew that God is ONE who begets not nor was he begotten and there is none like him to him. The complete Quran didn’t exist till about the time of Al Hajjaj. Further the legend of Muhammad probably didn’t exist till Ibn Ishaq. We only know about him from the writings of Ibn Hisham. Since ibn ishaq material was destroyed probably by the Abbasids.
