    (All credits to Vijay S from the original video) To those wondering about what he sang at the end, he sang three stanzas from a 2,000 year old composition by Adi Sankara called 'Bhaja Govinda'. Adi Sankara sang it back then taking humans around him to task for not focusing on the truth & divine and instead wasting time on material pleasures. The meaning of the 3 stanzas he sang is as follows: Yogaratova bhogaratova sangaratova sanga-viheena; yasyad brahmani ramate chittam nandathi nandathi nandathyeva -- Some take pleasure in and get addicted to actions w purpose (yoga), some take pleasure in and get addicted to luxuries/luxurious lifestyle, while some to company of society and social life, and some to avoiding society and social life. But the one who takes pleasure in and gets addicted to constantly ruminating on the 'brahman', he alone enjoys the real pleasure, no one else, no one else no one else. Sat-sangat-ve nis-sangh-at-vam | nis-sangh-atve nir-mohatvam | nir-mohat-ve nischala-tatvam| nischala-tat-ve jeevan-mukti hi -- The need for constantly seeking company(social life) of some kind loses it's lure/value by associating with vitreous(truthful) humans. Such non-attachment to company (and material stuff) will slowly lead to freedom from delusions and illusions. Such freedom from delusions will eventually lead to liberation from bondage of human death & births. Puanarapi jananam punarapi maranam | punarapi jananee jathare sayanam | iha samsaare bahu dusthaare | Kripaya paare paahi muraare -- Taking new birth after this life ends, and then dying again, and then taking new birth again and then dying again and so on and so forth, oh lord this life and bondage of life and death and birth and life and death and so on is very difficult, so please become compassionate to this misery of mine and protect and liberate me from this bondage oh lord.

    Let me just say..Because of me doing this meditation twice a day now,I am very proud to say,that for the first time in 10 years,I feel like the old happy me again!! I was diagnosed by a psychiatrist 10 years ago,with C-PTSD(Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). But now..I beat the odds,and because of this meditation,I reprogrammed my brain & reversed the C-PTSD for good! ❤

    For those of you who are wondering about the chant at the end, it was composed by Adi Shankaracharya 2000 years ago, urging humans to turn to spirituality. It actually has 18 stanzas, Sadhguru sang 3.

    @@preethishetty6179 It would be best if you could simply focus on the sound of the chant, even if you don't understand a word. Sadhguru says that the power is in the sound, not in the meaning.

    @@Delta3068 Isha kriya has becomed a daily practice for me. The thoughts, anxiety and dark moods are still coming but now ı realize them and don't follow them. I try to not overthink issues and let it go. I feel I am healing

    @@criptik5208 Brahma muhurat begins at 3:40 am in the morning. While during midnight it's actually sadhya kala. Sandhya kala are transition times when arbitrons changes (day to noon, noon to evening , evening to night, ) and one major Sandhya kala comes during midnight. It is very strong. Person who's not initiated or might not have that efficient energy base might harm himself. There are documantary when people did isha kriya during midnight and couldn't sleep for days

    @@ga9526 you can keep it relaxed. If it don't turn downward, then its perfectly fine. Just try to be relax with your hands. Turning it a little bit inward is not an issue.

    @@ga9526 I used to struggle with keeping my back straight as I couldn't sit in a balanced posture with back straight.. It's natural..you can sit on a pillow. That really helps

    I have just come out of a traumatic experience and my dad recommended this yoga to help me. I just did it because I needed some sense of security. When Sadguru started the chant post the Aaaaa sound I just cried heavily and couldn’t stop throughout the mantra. Simultaneously my hands went numb and I felt love. Like the universe was holding my face telling me I’m loved. I was disoriented when I opened my eyes and stumbled around when I got up. I don’t know what this means but I feel peaceful and I plan to follow this ardently. Also I wish happiness and love to all.

    I see what is meant by looking superhuman: We played a big football match on the weekend, the match to win the league for either team. Everyone was so nervous and I was so calm and ready. I feel that my presence rubbed onto my teammates and we ended up winning the match! Not only that, when playing, I was so happy and in such flow that when we won, I didn’t even celebrate like my teammates. Instead I felt the urge to go to the other team and shake their hands. These are the beautiful things that happen when we get a sense of spirituality in our lives. 💖

    I'm gonna update here after I do this meditation everyday 1. 24/4/20 - Done 2. 25/4/20 - Done 3. 26/4/20 - Done 4. 27/4/20 - Done Update: At this point, it's getting kinda easier to concentrate 5. 28/4/20 - Done 6. 29/4/20 - Done 7. 30/4/20 - Done 8. 1/5/20 - Done 9. 2/5/20 - Done Update: I used to get angry pretty quickly before starting this meditation... But now I'm able to control my anger... 10. 3/5/20 - Done 11. 4/5/20 - Done 12. 5/5/20 - Done 13. 6/5/20 - I forgot to do it cause it was my birthday 14. 7/5/20 - Done 15. 8/5/20 - Done For those of y'all asking what happened after 8th, I do this meditation without the video... But if it motivates y'all, I'll keep updating here 16. 17/5/20 - Done And I'm backkkk!!!! I completed a whole mandala!! But honestly that third eye thing didn't happen... But overall it calms your mind and helps you focus on your day without getting distracted... This really did help me get my mind off distracting stuff and get work done asap

    day 30 - 0601 After 30 days of doing this meditation, I can see why meditation are must. Meditation doesn't drastically change your life but it changes the way you look at life.     Been almost a week since I started, I don't know if this is because of kriya or something else but I naturally feel sleepy at 9-10 PM everyday and wake up at 4-5 AM without any alarm clock.

    Today is my 1-year Anniversary of doing Isha Kriya twice a day. I use this video every morning and night, and wanted to offer my gratitude. Thank you! Isha Kriya + Aum chanting have brought me peace, personal growth, a raise at work, and numerous other benefits. I plan to continue this, have taken Inner Engineering, and will take IE Completion before long. My next goal is to learn Shambhavi Mahamudra. This absolutely works!🎉❤ Adding this later! After 1 year and 2 months of twice daily Isha Kriya, I was initiated into Shambhavi Mahamudra. So I'm no longer doing Isha Kriya. But it was a wonderful practice and set me on a great path. I hope it's helpful for many others. Namaskaram.

    Currently withdrawing from anti depressant. I have done 90 day mandala and later 45 day mandala. 5 days ago I decided to leave anti depressant and yesterday decided not to do this kriya for experimental purposes. Until I did the meditation I felt suicidal for few hours felt like crying and life became meaningless. Today I did it again 3 times. I am perfectly fine now. Some days you need it more than other days. Mental health patient should seek medical help along with this kriya it works wonder.

    @@Baddogbling321 there will be something significant only if you are sensible enaugh to feel it. Usually in 2 weeks time, you feel something. I say something because you can t say what it is, you have to experience it. And after you did, you shouldn't let it go :P

    11/18/22 Today is my first day of isha kriya. I feel light as if I’m weightless, when I open my eyes and look at my hands I have no feeling as if they’re suspended in air. I’ve felt the tears that people speak about in the comment section, in my previous meditation sessions. I think it comes from people being in a dark place and all of a sudden the mind relaxes and releases all that tension. I’m going to do this every day twice a day. I will give updates on my progress .

    I did this almost everyday for 3 months, missed a few days probably and some two a days. I quit smoking tobacco, it's been a year since my last cigarette. I also stopped biting my nails. I'm back to biting my nails again, but now I know it's possible to focus and overcome my challenges with mental fortitude. Good stuff

    This meditation works. You must do it daily. It’s okay to fail if you try…that’s part of the practice…keep trying….just as you wouldn’t excersise once and expect results…it’s repetition that matters…

    Namaste, I have practice meditation off and on for years. I had back surgery and I wasn't getting better. I was very disappointed how I was being treated After surgery. That was my blessing. I made a decision to help myself. I have been doing the Isha kyria since 1/2023 Til today 5/31 /23. I feel better. I'm walking upright I feel super.

    I have completed the complete cycle of 90 days .feeling so much of love inside myself that I am being able to spread and give it to so many people. It's really fantastic. Thank you sadhguru for being there and showed me the path to love myself. After these 3 months, I am a completely different person full of positivity and lots of energy flowing in my body.     Congratulation to me , just completed twice a day session for 48 days cycle of Isha Kriya. It’s going to be part of my life from now on. I’m very much aware of how my thoughts and emotions plays trick in me , however I’m in control now by being conscious and aware in handling it. I’m more energetic,, peaceful, patient and joyful even in little things happening around me. My life is starting to change , less worries of the past and fear of the future, Irving in the present and enjoying it. I’m still just beginning my spiritual journey, by applying Sadhgurus messages thru UTube.. I’m very blessed that I found Sadhguru. You’re mystical and great one. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.!

    I have a strange question, but I would be be grateful if you took time and answered it. Thanks! 😀 When you completed those 48 days, did you still have desires and aspirations after that, to ellaborate more, you still had desires, enjoyed pleasurable things, basically like other people, even after the cycle practice? More ellaboration, do you have the regular desires a lot of people have, amd do you still have desires to commect and attach with people emotionally, like you're not detatched from everything, right? I have the fear all my deaires and attatchment with the people I care about will go, but I still want to be a regular people with, I guess, desires, and emtional connections with people, except I can manage my mind and body very well, that's why I want to do Isha Kriya, I struggle with really bad anxiety.

    Been doing this for 2 weeks, some visible benefits here: Less sleep. Average sleeping time needed lowered from 8 to about 5 to 6 hours a day. Better focus, which means I can stay focused on one task for a longer time, about 90 minutes without break so far. Overall, the krya allows us to live our life more efficiently, so I should keep going and see what happens next.

    I think the only one which I kind of feel skeptical of how many hours of rest/sleep you get. I have insomnia and I need to get more sleep, and actually I need more quality sleep than quantity number of sleep. Due to insomnia and obstructive sleep apnea.

    I am on my 23rd day, doing it twice a day, I can detach from my thoughts and stay with the awareness and my breath during the practice and it gives me a real feeling of bliss after the practice. I dont think I will ever stop doing it. When I started I found if difficult to even sit for 7 minutes with the guided meditation. Now I am doing it by myself and I have no trouble sitting there for that long and I sometimes go longer if it feels right. Thank you sadhguru.

    @@saikeerthandadi2323 What I think is the first few times with guided meditations until you get the hang of it and remember what to do at what stage of the meditation. Edit: If you're short on time I think it's best to use the guide to make sure you don't spend more time doing the meditation than necessary.

    Powerful words. At the same time, I lived detached from reality because I lived exclusively on the bridge. Although it is possible to totally detach from humanity and be affected by nothing our humanity is lost in the pursuit of detachment. I had to learn to be affected by the Tao but still be able to rise above it at will when necessary.

    This is old, but, I just found this and tried it for the first time and I just had to share how beautiful it is. After the 2nd stage, I watched what looked like energy moving like a wave in my focus. It felt amazing. As the 3rd stage was happening, it went to a wave moving counter clockwise over and over. I didn’t want it to end, when I opened my eyes, I was so deep into the meditation that it was difficult to move my hands, but I’ve had a smile on my face ever since. I will be doing it again tonight and continue twice daily for good. The peace, and love I feel just from that one time is amazing.

    Sadhguru, So much love to you. I did a full mandala and this practice completly changed my life. I am 17, have had worst few years struggling with anxiety and constanly being on the verge of depression but i couldnt give in to it. This gave me the superpower to break free of this vicious cycle and just now i am finally taking control over MY life and doing what makes ME happy, while simultaniously making everyone around me happy.     overthemoonflorist yes. It does.. It helped me with anxiety depression and mood swings within few weeks of practice. Try to find out about other meditation from Sadhguru’s channel. And if you can you must do the inner engineering.

    First ever meditation practice I ever did.. never thought meditation was for me.. but quarantined with so much time so jumped right into it. A tip for beginners which really helped me : its alright for thoughts to deviate...gently being them back to focus on the kriya...slowly this will become less often... How I felt... 1. Tears filled my eyes 8 minutes into the meditation for no apparent reason. (Just the first time) 2. Sat for 20 minutes and didn't want to get up.. 3. Intrinsically started chanting Aum for a good 10 minutes and finally got up after 40 minutes from when I sat... Refeshed, energized and definitely feel the power of this technique. Def intrigued! Thanks Sadhguru for allowing me to start my spiritual journey right here on 28 Mar 20. 🙏

    I do Isha kriya. It has changed me for good. I follow many things what respected Sadhguru says. Like having neem turmeric first thing in the morning for more than last 2 years. Even now i tie my hair as Sadhguru was discussing in a video. My diet is really 60% uncooked and those are fruits and nuts. Everything help me. Even i try to be empty stomach on ekafashi...which sometimes i miss also. I have faith in me . Someday i will maintain ekadashi norms. Pranaam Sadhguru!!

    I had an mri scan today and I’m pretty claustrophobic. I found myself doing the ‘I am not the body I am not even the mind’ breathing exercise and it helped enormously. Thank you 🙏

    Today is my 20th day. During meditation I still have various thoughts, and I know it’s ok. What’s interesting to me is that the song Sadhguru sings keeps playing in my head during the day. I simply become aware at one point in a day (every day) that it has been playing for a while :) And it makes me smile every time. ‘Cripaya paareh, paaah himoraaaareh..’ something like that 😄

    Shruti Soni may feel the same way thank you for sharing. I would like to ask questions about why and @Margo Terry says because of Previous lives. I DO NOT think so. I think that is because many Indians have an inferiority complex ( this includes me) when they view Foreigners doing what Indians have been doing for generations. I would go further and ask where does this inferiority complex originate from ( Although NOT all Indian carry such Inferiority complex when it comes to foreigners ) Does it have to do anything with what Indian value materialistic gain over inner enlightenment?

    There is a meditation that I did as part of Inner Engineering that made me cry. The one where he asks you to imagine floating and then flying to a lush green place. I felt like I was dying and leaving my loved ones behind. Like I knew I had to change for their good as well as my own, but it felt like saying goodbye. Tears welled up in my eyes as I started to fly away...

    Thank you so much! I have your app. I did a lot of different meditations but this one is changing me and my soul and body. Today I noticed my voice started to change and my arms raised up. My dogs ran out of the room!!! I truly believe my body is healing. I have a tiny tumor on my liver as well 2 small on pituitary ( not cancer). I lost my Mom to cancer, her sister died 2 months ago , another sister and brother diagnosed with cancer. I already changed my diet 6 years ago, but stress and depression were part of me until I came across this video and many more. When my Grandma died few weeks ago I grieved, cried( funeral was in another country I couldn’t go) and moved on and live in present moment. Grandma raised me while my Mom worked. You are saving my life literally and for that I thank you and send blessings and I’m saving to come to Tennessee for Engineering. 🙏🏽🌻💫💕

    I have never been able to do meditation in my life. Could never really grasp the concept nor could even sit for 5 mins.     I sat for 12 minutes. And continued for 2 hours or so.. came to sense as my phone rang. I hated the caller because i was in heaven. Edit: it was 2-3 years ago now it doesn’t happen.during shambhavi i turn off my phone

    I am sorry for my English. Many thanks to Sadhguru for this beautiful meditation. I would like to tell everyone who reads this - I was also shocked by the powerful vibrations throughout my body after finishing the meditation. I was shaking, but inside I was free. An absolutely clear and calm mind. I haven't had this for a long time. And when I started reading comments to confirm the shaking and vibration effect, I became so happy when I saw that many people had experienced similar sensations. This is wonderful!     To put into words how I felt, it's that feeling you get when you suddenly wake up, your mind and your body are dissociated, you are telling you legs to move but it isn't, you just exist in-between. Your mind is clearer, everything is just calm up there. It's so peaceful and warm. I found this really helpful, thank you. Using this to focus more on my mental health and career in 2023.

    Today on 23rd Oct 2020 I want to share my experience of doing Isha Kriya for almost 2 years now. These are facts and no B.S. I'm 15 y/o and I started doing these practices namely Nadi Shuddhi, Nada Yoga and Isha Kriya. I used to listen to Sadhguru share his immense wisdom of life... It was so intricating for me and the fact that he was not persuading to have beliefs, owning limitless responsibilities, being conscious about handling yourself etc. was so phenomenal that at every step of my life I started actually living a more intellectually developed life. Every dot started getting connected. Today tears of ecstacy rolled down my eyes and what I experienced can't be described in words. Inner Engineering(book) and the course has intensely transformed my life. Sadhguru I owe you so much and I'm so grateful to get to experience this in my life. I really hope to meet you one day.     I have done this once a day for 4 days in a row. I've already seen an inredible increase in motivation, energy and taking iniative - all of those things that have been lacking whilst battling an episode of depression for almost a year. It wasn't a great time, I felt so disconnected from my soul and everything was pointless. Thank you from my heart to a dear friend who suggested this practice! I'll try to update here what feelings/changes have come after a regural practice. Maybe someone else struggling will find encouragemet. I hope whom ever is reading this is finding peace and love to their soul ❤

    Thts good biro.bt make sure to complete the cycle do not miss it for a single day..also if u r someone who is suffering from depression then u shuld go for pranayama (breath control excercises) as well thy r quite effective..mh personal recommendation would be "Ham Sa" pranayama ...for source u can watch the astral doorway KZread channel he has uploaded one ...if u need link do lemme know

    I have been doing the Kriya for around a year now. I am in a remarkable better mood than before. And sometimes in the morning I Even feel like I had been vaping skunk. And the only intake is green Tea. Just remarkable. I have had a serious stroke in the brain in oktober, but Even then I feel happy and relaxed. The Best basic to recover fast. From My heart thank you to the gifted Sadghuru.

    I extend gratitude for this practice. I have been riddled with anxiety and depression all of my life that intensified after being homeless with my family a few years ago. This really is helping me. Especially after losing my mother last year. I appreciate this, this is bringing and will continue to bring healing to so many people.     I'm on day 5 and I'll admit that I don't look forward to the meditation but I'm making a commitment to myself to see something through. I keep getting caught up in passing thoughts during the mantra, but as soon as that flute starts, for some reason, my mind becomes so still. It feels like taking off a really tight pair of shoes. So much relief when all that mental chatter is gone. I'm able to feel the inner world.

    I have been doing this meditation from past three weeks. I am already seeing a lot of changes in me. My mind is calmer than ever!     @@Nishant_kesarwani since you should hear and feel your voice with the Aaaa sound I think it would be better if you use the speakers (I'm going to start it like this), once you get used to the meditation times maybe you won't need the video guide anymore ☺

    @@MsZyngagames yes I did feel like that. Then I thought I was focusing too hard. The instructions says focus mildly. Thoughts disturb , mind will stop interfering eventually.
