it's not always doing someone dirty, it's just that they are past their prime. There were issues with Carmelo he wasn't interested in coming off the bench but he changed his mentality and now is thriving in his role. IT had some amazing years in Boston and I could see him as an off the bench scorer the problem is he is older now and really short and is invisible on defense.

Im a long time Celtics fan and i love this dude.. Isaiah's Celtics is one of the most exciting celtic team to watch atleast in my era.. Compared to the celtics this season, i keep on telling my wife that i missed Isaiah's season, where everyone plays in sync and better team play.. I was one of those people who got upset that he got traded.. Even being a celtic's fan i still feel that he got betrayed.. i know it's business but that was too much.. That's why tatum is going to the lakers when his contract is up. I like what Boston is doing, developing him for 5 years then when he hits his prime he'll be ready to join the team he loved growing up

You can argue that most gm's will do that trade as well however what made it bad was the timming and the result. Kyrie left the celtics and didn't won a championship making us think we should have just ride with i.t. and gave his dues since he deserve it, i don't know about max since he got injured but probably close to it on a 3 year deal would have been fine.

Injured his hip and wanted max dollars. That'll scare most any GM. They didn't believe it would be a good investment, and looks like they were right. He's a good dude, but the business part has to come into play too

It's bit about not paying him. It's about not telling him they aren't picking him up and then to make it worse, hopped on trading for Kyrie the first chance they could. Then that immediately bit them back.

IT made a game winner his last season at Washington, and I was watching live and from that moment i knew he was difffferent. Moving forward- he’s always been super clutch. Real hooper

I loved IT in Boston. Those were some really fun teams to watch every night. I wish we would get him back but he'll always be loved in Boston by the real fans

IT you were and are still the real deal from the first game I saw you play in Sac. You would go to city hall meetings and rock out on the court with Rudy, and DMC. Keep grindin...Kings fans still luv u!
