Project of Love is: the bible in song 🔥🙌
Isaiah 43 Pt. 1 - I love you
This is one of the most compelling, intriguing and most stunning chapters of Isaiah, yes of the Bible, to me. I've written 2 songs about this chapter. Next week is part 2. But I could write songs with these words for the rest of my life, I think.
Here is God, kneeling down on one knee, like a bridegroom proposing to His bride, and offering His undying love to Israel, to us.
He's trying to get it through to us, through our hard hearts, our hard heads, no matter what we've done, He LOVES us with a love so wide, so high, so deep, we can't even begin to imagine..but that's OK, we just have to receive it and accept it. And let that Love change us. From the inside out. And let that Love change the world, the people around us. So much so, that 'they will know us by our love'.
(John 13: 34-35 )

1. O Israel, the one who formed you says,
“Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you.
I have called you by name; you are mine.
2. When you go through deep waters,
I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty,
you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression,
you will not be burned up;
the flames will not consume you.
3. For I am the Lord, your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.
4. You are precious to me.
You are honored, and I love you.
13. From eternity to eternity I am God.
No one can snatch anyone out of my hand.

Project of Love is one man, Xander Stok, and his God-inspired dream: to put all books of the bible to song.
Three years ago, after 20 years of struggling with depression, he met God.
"He took me out of the pit, gave me new life, new clothes, a mission, and here I am.
In January 2021, while I was reading the book of Isaiah, I heard a quiet voice say: "grab your guitar and sing what you're reading".
That's what I did and I'm still doing".

I have been listening to this song over and over in dark times in my little paint shop being undone by the Love of God. Thursday, God used it to confirm to me He is giving me a baby! All along I was listening, He was trying to tell me. (He also shared 3 more to encourage me He’s with me and goes before me). He just sent it to me again and I noticed it’s ch 43. I’m 43. His mercy & goodness is more than my words could ever express.

This is such a beautiful Word from God put into song. God's love is eternal, pure, and true. No human can loves the way God does. I pray that everyone has the opportunity to know God's mercy, redemption, and love. From childhood I thought that I was unlovable because of my imperfections and I thought that life was cruel because of its sufferings. I struggled to be the maker of my own purpose and to work for it through my own efforts - school, work, relationships, spiritual practices. It wasn't until I was deep in depression that I finally tried to understand the Gospel of Jesus through Bible study and fellowship at a church. Scales fell from my eyes and my heart softened to Christ, then I gave my life to Him. It's been over 10 years and He truly saved me from depression and has given me a new redemptive life. If you have not, I strongly encourage you to learn about Jesus. If you are truly daring, ask Him to show up in your life and see what happens. God bless.

Zoals jij uit het duister bent gered ben ik ook gered uit het duister. Wat een super getuigenis bij Hour of Power! Van kind af aan zag ik overleden mensen en meer. Mijn ouders waren niet christelijk. Rond mijn twintigste ontmoette ik mensen die dat ook zagen. Dat vond ik een opluchting want ik kon er eindelijk over praten. Zij hielden zich bezig met occulte zaken maar ik dacht dat ze goede dingen deden. Ze zeiden dat ik een gave had en er iets mee moest gaan doen. Zodoende ben ik mensen gaan helpen doormiddel van occulte handelingen. Terwijl ik dacht dat ik goed deed beheerste het duister mijn hele leven jarenlang, totdat God ingreep. Hij opende mijn ogen en sprak tegen mij, en zei dat ook mijn naam in Zijn handen staat. Ik was geschokt te zien waar ik in zat. Ik was geschokt door de aanraking van God. Een overweldigende ervaring! Ik heb daarna met alles wat met het occulte te maken had radicaal gebroken. Mijn leven is enorm veranderd en mijn zogenaamde gaven zijn weg. Wat een rust! Hallelujah! Je muziek is prachtig!
