Izzy and Simon are definitely my favourite Shadowhunters ship, and one of my favourite ships ever. I loved them in the books and completely fell in love with them in the series. Their story is so beautiful, I wish the show gave them more screen time.

I fr that they didn’t ge reloads of screen time but they were easily the most natural couple on the show nd although I wish we got maybe a season more what’s great about us only seeing them truly in love as a couple for three four episodes is it wasn’t rushed it took two seasons to see the chemistry nd sparks it took three seasons to see them feelings truly develop until the end of the third season when we finally see them show their feelings nd then it takes four seasons to see those feelings ring deeper nd really turn into love I mean we don’t get the first kiss till like three four episodes before the end nd in the end we get them fallen in love working together it’s both satisfying and yet leaves u really wanting which I geuss isn’t always a bad thing

I read the books they're both good together.

I love how at first Simon was so intimidated by Izzy but then they started building a relationship of trust and communication and love, they always smiled when they were together and felt comfortable when they were around I AM IN LOVE WITH THEM

I'm so happy they made Sizzy happen because Rapheal wasnt good for her as much as liked each other, Clary broke Simins heart by not loving him. They both deserved happiness. They suit each other and they are so beautiful. Such a soft couple. If Malec got married, then yeah, they getting married. Sorry but they 1000% better than Malec. They got more history and chemistry. I just love how they dont ever say "I love you" like every couple in shows do, you can tell they do since like s3 started. The way they know about their dark secrets, how izzy was addicted to vampire venom and Simon fed on his sister, how supportive they are of each other. They've been there for each other when they were at there saddest and lowest. They are both each other saviors. They both needed that healthy relationship in their lives. I've fallen in love with them.

Ok, I agree with all of that... except two points. 1. Simon and Izzy never said "I love you" because they weren't even actually together until nearly the end of the series. Sure, they felt it, but saying such a loaded phrase to someone you're not involved with (and sometimes even if you are) tends to not go well. And they've both been hurt before, as you note, so it's obvious why they wouldn't want to say it until they were official. That's a giant step to take for anyone, but especially for people who've already been burned. They could've said it after the time-skip, though there was hardly enough time to do it justice. 2. Why take shots at Malec? Yeah, their relationship moved quicker than Sizzy, but they're different people. Did they have problems? Of course, all couples do, but they always managed to work them out, together. If you want to say Sizzy is 1000% better than Clace, go ahead (cliché storm that they are), but they're not better than Malec. Equal given enough time, perhaps, but not better.

just started watching this i love simon with isabelle but i also love simon with clary,i dont know simon is just good with the ladies or im just a sucker for the romantic type and not the bad boy macho type like jace,i like how the show makes couples fall in love naturally and slowly unlike other shows,honestly its nauseating to watch couples in shows that makes them look like a bunch of rabbits always jumping on each other

But let's face it, Dom has that "conventionally/classically handsome" thing going for him (plus the "bad boy" role) whereas Alberto has more of the "boy next door" vibe going on (and "nerdy chatterbox" in terms of his role. Me, I def prefer the latter, but to each their own. 🤷‍♀️

I remember watching the mortal instruments movie all them years ago and was sad the series was cancelled due to the poor rating but now I’m glad I found this after all these years (ps I think Robert Sheehan was a better cast for Simon but that’s just my take)
