"Well Ray, I did it to survive, longer than anyone else." I think she meant that she did it for survival and for her own sanity. She don't want a meaningless death. Remember the chapter when she told Emma to just give up because resisting just prolongs the suffering. She accepted her fate and did a way to live. She's not happy seeing her children get shipped at all but she can't help them. All she could do was to make them experienced such fruitful and happy life before they could be shipped. For me, she is such a brave woman. Sometimes living is an act of courage. anyways this is just my point of view. no hate. peace

Haven't ever signed YT in on this computer the whole three years I've had it, and I just did say thanks for this comment cause," Sometimes living is an act of courage.', is a saying that literally got me through one of the hardest parts of my life when I was nine. Somehow I forgot, and to be honest with you I can't even fathom how I forgot it. Brought back memories with my passed older brother, too, and I guess that"s why I'm saying thank you.

Umm you're kinda on the wrong track here.......the only way for a human to survive was to become a caretaker of the factories and to do that she had to get pregnant and give birth to pass the test for the examination! That's how Ray was born! That's what she meant when she said she gave birth to Ray to survive longer than others(who were unfortunate enough to not be qualified to become a caretaker)

She was a coward. And her cowardice made her a monster. Perhaps a victim, too, but still a monster. Better to die than to take part in the butchering of children.

The most interesting part is that she doesn't have some stort of goal that she thrives on, like other villains do. Usually villains have some stort of goal wether that be "i was treated terribly so I'm going to treat everyone else bad" or "this world is rotten. So I'm going to clean" its not none of those things. She does it to survive, and to keep all her memories with all the children, and she probably hopes one day that she'll be free

@@asmorae3732 the manga is much better tho. i never watched ss2 (have already seen ss1, it was good) cus i heard they left out A LOT of arcs and it was a huge flop. i read the manga starting from chapter 37, i didnt think i would finish it but i kept reading it and it was pretty phenomenal. if you havent seen ss2 i highly recommend reading the manga starting from chapter 37 :)

The manga has a completely different Arc we didnt see in the anime, the goldy pond arc and different endings and fates too plus characters we didnt meet in the anime so I do suggest reading it ☺

This song is so calming and soft, that's why I listen to this to sleep

I think the art shows a lot, the butterfly represents freedom and isabelle when she was younger is trying to chase after it to get freedom but then we see isabelle as a mom with a smile that seems like she is tired of this really wishes for the kids to get freedom that she wasent able to get as a kid and with the lullaby in the background it makes isabellas story more sad and sucks we dont know much about her story 😭

Emma was fast Norman was strategic Ray was intelligent Isabella was all that but she was alone u.u

Every time I listen to this song I just start crying... It's just a masterpiece

As someone who comes from an abusive household with an extreme want to escape... this song is truly the best comfort for me. I even bought a music box off ebay that plays Isabella's Lullaby. This song just gives me hope that things will be okay and that I'll get into a safer situation. I listen to this every day and practically live off it. It's just so soothing to me, and reminds me of how Emma and the others managed to escape, and how Emma stayed strong through the temporary loss of Norman. I want to personally thank whoever made The Promised Neverland. This song is what keeps me going through everything life throws at me.

Isabella really is a villain you can't hate.

oof, this song is so heartwarming and sad at the same time. isabella isn’t a bad person at all, she had no choice. she loved her kids, biological or not. she just misses the person she loved most.

big appreciation goes to ray for maintaining the goth aesthetic despite wearing white clothes all his life

I totally feel the emotion in the music, like I can feel how painful she experienced throughout her life. She lost the person she loved, the children she took care of, and also her freedom but she still hold on. I literally cried while listening because it is too painful.

How sad that listening to this lullaby make me miss my mom so much. This past 7 years was really tough for me since she's passed away. So many things I wish I could tell or share my story with her. Listening to this feels like she is hugging me now, and telling me "it's okay to cry if you want to". That's will be the word she would told me if she's still here..

tpn was only made to promote the manga. [ season 1 ] is a masterpiece but also just an advertisement at the same time. :\ and season 2 is just a rushed finisher to make as much money as possible unfortunately

Pov: You are sleeping, suddenly you hear this playing You wake up and try to follow this voice As you are following this voice, it lead you to a room The room is dark, at the end of the room there is a door Out of curiosity, you walk towards it It seems like it's forcing you to open, you try to oppose it but it's just too strong You give away to the force and open the door As you open the door, a bright light flashes you can't see anything, it like it numbed your senses, you can't feel anything Finally you are able to open your eyes, as you open your eyes you find yourself somewhere else You feels nostalgic and euphoric, it's a strange feeling You try to look around to find if someone is there As you are looking for someone, you see someone, you try to call them but they couldn't here you You follow them in hopes to catch them As you are following them and getting close to them, you finally see their face It's "You", it's the younger version of you, you are confused As you figuring out what just happened, they started running away and you also try to chase after them As you are chasing them, they stop and say "Mommy~", it's your mom You can't understand what's going on They both stop and enter a house, you follow them You peek from from window to see them laughing, enjoying and be happy Suddenly your younger version ask "Mommy, can I go outside to play" Mom answered "Okay" Your younger version started running and you again chase after them Your younger version sees a butterfly and starts to chase after it As they are chasing it, they are about to run into the traffic, so you try to save them And fortunately you are successful in it, but your younger version starts crying So you take them to their home As you open to door, and talk them in, your mom comes and says "what happened to him" "He was about to get hit by a car so I saved him" You answered "Oh My God, Thank you, I shouldn't have let him go on his own" The mom answered As you are about to leave, the mom asks you to come have a cup of tea, you refuse but she doesn't accept that So you are with both of them, you started to talk to them, they ask you "where are you from", you answered "im not from here" As you are talking you feel happy, it seems like you have found peace Time passed like sand and you both talked for hours, again as you are about to leave they suggest you to spend a night with them Again you try to refuse but they didn't accept it "You are gonna sleep in this room, Ok" The mom answered As you look at the room, it just like the room you had in your childhood and you are looking at it, a sudden headache hits you and you fall down As you open your eyes, you find yourself laying on the moms lap, she is singing this Lullaby As you are listening to it you feel at peace, a ray of euphoria, it like a healing spell You start feeling sleepy and as you are about to black out, you hear " I love you" And you fall asleep You wake up but you find yourself in the present, "it was all a dream" You ask yourself You look at the time and it like the world stopped You started remembering everything that happened A drop of tear started falling down from the cheek, you realize that you mother died at a young age and all that you saw in that dream was what you wanted to have as a child "A warm greeting can even make a rock melt"

It's such a bitter sweet melody, I'm so happy I found this ♥️♥️

I hum this while I go asleep, my young sister (6) sometimes hears it and tries either joining or asks me quietly if she’s so tired to keep it down but not to stop, as she knows I’m not going asleep if I can’t hum it

This lullaby is a stairs to heaven ~🍃✨

People often forget that, while being evil is a choice, it can often be a tough choice. But she chose herself over the children she lead to slaughter, so, despite the sad backstory, she was still somewhat evil. Also she did break a child's bone, so that's still a canon event.

Her 1 goal was to make sure that if she was going to survive that she would make sure the children in her care would have the most fruitful lives…breaking Emma’s bones saved her in a way. She needed to break Emma’s spirit otherwise her death would’ve been more agonizing.

Bruhh the 2nd season was SO disappointing…but we have to appreciate the hard work put into it. The animators, editors, and voice actors all worked hard, but it felt like the writers were the only ones slacking 😭

I remember when I forgot how to cry. I could still get sad but I never expressed it. It took 4 years to finally be able to cry again. What made me forget was after my grandfather died. I was young enough to understand death, but I couldn’t fully process that he was the one who had died. I was about 9 when he died? I’m almost 16 now and I cry almost every day now. At least with losing the ability to cry I could hold in my emotions and move through the sadness, but now if I’m overly stressed I just shut down and sob for an hour or two until I can function semi-normally again.

Am I the only one that finds Isabella`s voice calming.I hum this lullaby to my dog and they get sleepy.

For the past 3 years I've been singing this to my little cousins to make them sleep, when they finally turn twelve I'm making them watch The Promised Neverland. One of them has already read it (he's 7) and loves it, except he's never heard Isabella's lullaby since he's only read the manga. Haha
