So excited to watch this generation of women surfers over the next 10 years. Their performance at Pipe this year was unreal. Erin’s out here popping airs. Erin will earn a world title in the next couple years I’m thinking.

The sportsmanship and sister like camaraderie between Bella and Erin made this final so special. I always want Erin to win more than anything but somehow the expected sting of disappointment just wasn't really there for this loss because it was all just too much fun to watch. Watching them battle each other with smiles all the while and then of course that epic moment when Bella didn't know whether to cheer for Erin or against her was just so epic. What a final. What a wholesome little rivalry that we can look forward to continuing in Ballito! I for one can't wait! Let's gooo!

@@dawsonbolus back to back event wins, 3 finals in a row, an epic career defining perfect 10 at Gold Coast, and a near perfect air in the semi finals here is certainly worthy of a "next level" designation. I mean she could also quite possibly become the fastest to ever qualify for the CT if she reaches the semis or better in Ballito.
