IS300 Sparco R100 Bucket Seat Install!
Today’s video is a seat install I did on the IS! Decided to go with a reclining bucket seat as a daily. These cost about $400 shipped to me and as long as you don’t expect stock comfortability, they’re great. I wish the cushioning was softer and holster tighter, but overall really felt the price point was excellent. Let me know what you think about em!

@@dapetdetective did you get more headroom after installing these seats? I'm planning on doing the same because I barely have any headroom. I'm 6.7 BTW

@@carlbrooks90 sorry for late reply! Sadly about the same as stock powered. I suggest floor mounted seats if you’re super tall!
Might be a serious silly question, but when I go to the Sparco website and was to get these does it come with a set of 2 or literally just one seat?

All good! Usually it’s one seat sadly. These were $450 I think locally, with shipping may be a bit more online.

@@dapetdetective okay thank you and I’ve seen you mention how there’s a V1 and V2 of the seat, is the one that’s automatically available on the site the V2? I’ve seen ones online that are like leather looking and different from the ones you posted and some others posted.

@makaveliba4243 absolutely! So yeah V2’s should be the current ones available since it has the “updated” foam. Just double check part numbers. As far as materials go, V2’s can come in vinyl or leather options I believe!
Is the frs seat smaller or tighter fitting then the Sparco ?

FRS seat was definitely tighter but more forgiving material than the Sparco for sure

The older version! Looks like the new one has slightly better bolstering and softer material like I hoped this one was like, I’d say worth a shot for an affordable reclinable option.

I’ll be honest they were pretty stiff haha, but I believe there’s a V2 out now that’s a bit better.
