My husband of 31 yrs left me in January. He says he’s done. He won’t see or speak to me. I have drawn closer to God in the last 8 months. I pray several times a day for God to soften his heart and that our marriage will be restored. 4 months until he can file divorce papers. Please pray for us. Your podcasts have given me hope that we can have a great marriage if he will come back.

Man, this podcast was actually discouraging. One day she came into my study, dropped her rings and said I'm done. She had already made arrangements to stay with her friend. She hasn't come back and it's been a month as of yesterday. I love her more and more the longer I'm apart from her, and I'm beginning to see all the things I was doing that was sending her messages that I didn't. Please pray if you're reading this that the Lord would work in our hearts to reconcile.

Hi Calvary, I just read your message and I been there. I been married to my husband for a year. It's hard but Be strong and of good courage! Don't give up on your wife. My husband always stayed faithful to the Lord and to me and God has moved mightily in both of us. I'm so grateful but don't let the enemy discourage you or put fear in you! I will be praying for you tonight. My heart goes out to you, and remember when everything fails, His love will never fail! He is near those of a broke heart. I had to spend time praying and fasting and my husband came back to me. Keep your focus on the Lord! God bless brother

I hate to say this but once a woman reaches that point - it’s over pretty much. They may come back with encouragement but it will never be the same. Your former relationship is done- blown to bits like the twin towers. Your only hope is to rebuild and make something new.

Thank you so much for this podcast. It has given me si much hope. I am currently separated and I filed for divorce but I submitted to God’s will and He has not allowed it to go through 4TIMES over the “silliest” paperwork details. So, I am surrendering. I do want my marriage. I love my husband and he loves me. But we have done ALL of the mistakes that you talked about. I am praying for a miracle and for reconciliation. I am ready to do whatever it takes to fight for my my husband and for my marriage in Christ. Please pray for us ❤️ thank you

WHAT do you do when your spouse does not want to work on your marriage, has decided they are "done" and won't listen to anyone? I know pray, but is there ANYTHING that one can say that might break through a hardened heart?

My marriage is fine as long as I don't discuss my needs in relationship, go through the rest of my life sexless without a kiss or any kind of physical intimacy. married 22 years and sexless for the last 15. She is "fine" if she never has sex again, and it is "not important" to her. Therefore - I am not important. As long as I never bring it up - we get along just fine. Strap a saddle to me, because I am being taken for a ride.

You referred to them as your partner rather than your husband. Are you married? This is for married couples as the Bible is clear that sex outside of marriage is a sin against yourself and God which means it will not be blessed by God unless your married.

Most marriages are crap, that's why 50% end in divorce and another 40% are "struggle" marriages where the couples stay together for a variety of reasons outside of their happiness. Anyone with an ounce of common decency would see what marriage does to people spiritually, emotionally and financially and would be warning people to avoid it. You'll notice that all the people that promote marriage have a financial interest in its promotion; they all want to keep that money train going. Take a step back and you see an entire industry that profits off marriage (including these hope mongers).

It's clear that you have been severely hurt by someone you trusted and caresd about.. Bitterness and unforgiveness has tainted your heart. The number one reason why people get divorced is all rooted from selfishness. Living for self. The number one problem solver in this world is if you wake up to love no matter what. Laying your life down by carrying your cross. Love always wins. The problem is that feelings taken over with most people. God ieid) did not give us the emotions we were born with. Adam did. We just be born again. I'm sorry for the hurts and pains from the whosoever. But people wouldn't do what they do if they knew who they are in the identity of christ.

@@jaredshowers1 That just points out that marriage should NOT be promoted. Even the apostles Peter and Paul state it's better not to marry. There is simply not enough viable, happy, successful marriages in the world to recommend it. Yet lots of people do and a lot of them have a financial interest in the matter.
