“Functionally speaking, Fischl is superior to Yae” does not = “Fischl is better than Yae”. It means that functionally (setup, team building, rotations) Fischl is easier to work with than Yae. @@jhsloz3160 pre-dendro this was very true, but with aggravate / Hyperbloom teams, EM sands have become much more competitive. The more reactions you’re causing (aka on field Yae) the more competitive EM sands becomes, but if you have lots of external EM buffers such as sucrose, it will become less competitive. it will depend on the scenario, but EM sands are viable now

As someone who uses Tighnari a lot, I can say that Tighnari + Yae Miko is a more powerful duo than with Fischl since Tighnari doesn't need too much ER and Fischl's electro damage isn't AoE as compared to Yae Miko's electro damage. He needs to be paired with someone who can continuously apply electro and deal powerful off-field damage at the same time.

As someone who got Miko accidentally trying to get their first copy of Fischl (yes I missed out on literally every free Fischl up till Miko's first banner) dendro made me no longer regret getting her. People say she's clunky or takes a lot of field time, but honestly she's so much fun and seeing all those damage numbers makes my neurons go on overdrive. So honestly Miko is wonderful in my book. Went from being a mistake pull to a gem on my account.

Itto Raiden n the other characters u described are on field dps. While Yae can on-field too usually people played her off-field and the damage on her normal attacks aren't really exceptional either. Catalyst users in general are very clunky. Tldr if u play her off-field she takes a lot of time if on-field then that's fine

@@ushiima urmm..miko is moving when u press eee..u can go to the direction where she can't be hit..and moving with her e can save your stamina..with C2 the aoe can be really big..u can set up the totem at the corner of the domain far from the enemies yet they still can be hit

Something a lot of people fail to mention about Yae is that she is INCREDIBLE for dealing with huge crowds of widely spread out enemies (see: every abyss we've had for a WHILE). Her turrets are completely passive and have very good range, they can't miss and because the damage comes from above the enemy, it doesn't get blocked or have other line of sight quirks like Oz does with his straight projectiles. Using her with a grouping utility like Venti doesn't negate this strength though, it just shifts it - because all those turret blasts are small AoEs, they'll hit EVERYTHING in a Venti burst and her damage scales into the stratosphere because of it. Related - her signature weapon is also outrageously good with Aggravate. It was already the best DPS catalyst in the game for most characters, but because it provides an elemental damage bonus that is super reliable on Yae with its passive, and its substat is a massive amount of crit damage, it boosts Aggravate damage with 100% uptime with no effort and by just a hilarious amount.

Once learned how to dodge with the skill and the correct rotations, Yae becomes one of the most fun characters to have. The big amount of damage compensate the 'long' field time (4 seconds max) required to set all turrets and the big range of them even at c0 make you save a lot of time.

idk, ever since dendro dropped her role kinda changed from a sub-DPS to a main-DPS, i would categorize her in the same slot as Cyno in which they both have a lot time on-field but yae has a lot more forgiving playstyle since you can choose to switch out faster.

Its not LACK OF ANY Endgame. Abyss is already a combat endgame. Serenitea Pot is another one and Genius Invocation will be the Third. Mihoyo only said they wont make another Abyss like mode, not even "no more combat modes". My bet is that the next endgame will be close to 4.0. I would love another combat endgame lile any other player, but a exploration focused one, like that event where we made new dungeons would be great. Just add some enemies to the mix and we will have a Super Genshin Maker.

I'm with Gabriel where its a Yelan Xingqiu, or even Ayaka and Ganyu situation in that if you pair them correctly its often one of best comps any one involved either can ask for. Sucrose and Kazuha is more a situation where why wouldn't you want one for two different team.

Oh man do I love pairing Yelan and XQ together. It's like they were literally made for each other. I think they have some of the best synergies in this game. I also play Ayaka as main DPS and Ganyu as sub.

honestly, even with her very unsusual playstyle I still very much want her. Its unfortunate shes after nahida since im going to pull for nahida and her weapon, Hopefully i can save some primos but we'll see how that turns out

You might want to consider holding off on Nahida's signature, especially depending on the other weapons in the banner. So far all the theory crafting is showing that it is barely better than some other options, and in some cases like on-field driver its worse than something like kaguras or solar pearl. Hilariously, the 3* Magic guide in aggravate comps is really damn good, with almost no investment. If you are worried about not getting Yae, I would save on the weapon

I was gonna pull for Nahida weapon too but then again as the person above mentioned it is barely better than 4 stars and definitely worse for dps compared to some. Also recent leaks do say Al Haitham might be in 3.4 so I'll be skipping the weapon. If only they cud buff her weapon somehow

I actually prefer Yae on my Tighnari hyperbloom team over Fischl because in order to keep up Fischl's electro application I had to use her burst, which isn't practical in the overworld. I've worked out a very nice and super easy rotation: Tighnari E to blind the enemy, Kokomi E to keep Yae alive while applying hydro, Yae dances around the enemy with an E, E, E, Kazuha E to bring everything together and shred. If anything is still alive after that Tighnari still has his E active! and is able to do three quick shots. Easy peasy everything's dead. 😼

One of my favorite teams since Sumeru is: Tartaglia, Kuki, Yae Miko, Dendro MC (Nahida). Tartaglia's downtime plays perfectly into Yae's required field time. Her turets usually don't trigger the Dendro cores, leaving them for a high EM Kuki to trigger. This team switches between Hyperbloom+Aggravate and pure Aggravate. Tartaglia and Yae compensate for each other's weakness.

Being a tighnari main, I'm definitely tempted by yae. His low on-field time for a main DPS compensates very nicely for her high field time as a "off field" DPS, and they also get fox resonance

What I wish HYV would have done was make is so that simply tapping Yae's skill would only summon one totem, and holding would summon all three at once right in front of her. That alone would have made her playstyle more convenient.

Since dendro dropped, been using her with kazuha, kokomi, and dendro mc. Absolutely love this team. I only use skyward atlas on her but will try to get her signature weapon and cons if my wishes allow

I'm rolling for Yae no matter what tbh I don't really care abt her kit at all but my favourite colour is pink, my favourite animals are foxes, and my name is Cherry I just want her namecard

In summary: running non dendro related electro reaction teams or are running a quicken team with an on fielder like kequing, run fischl as the battery is needed. However if your running a dendro team where your on field is not electro the battery looses value and therefore you might just want higher damage. Also as someone who runs yae often, I can say that trying to make her burst a priority and manage her energy is just not happening, build her with high em and focus on turret damage and just pop the burst when it’s an opportune time (also he didn’t mention the reason the burst hits so hard in quicken teams is it’s lack of ICD so up to four agrevate procs per burst)

I agree I find Yae is better with turret as main source of dmg then burst is just a bonus, so you dont really have to bother that much with ER issues, now that we have Quicken it even gives electro particle on reaction and pair it with another electro unit for resonance effect then ER isnt that much problematic (and of course if you have Raiden her best electro tandem), but yeah her burst is good with aggravate due to no ICD in all of its hit, he did not also mention one the most fischl's weakness is the skill uptime, which Yae's skill has 100% dmg uptime and deals x3 or higher than fischl, and on fischl you have to wait for cd or burst to resummon Oz, and the cluncky feeling when you need to reposition oz due to its limited range and repositioning has longer downtime than Yae's E (because of 3 stacks, its easier to recast)

Bold of you to assume I would even have primos left after nahidas banner

For me, Yae has utility in terms of stamina management. She can dodge and traverse far with less stamina. While Fisch can fly only on her burst,Yae can move with just her E, and position better than clunky turning when flying. Yae can deal with random mobs while you focus on a bigger mob too.

Miko has always been worth pulling. Her burst hits like a truck when it crits.

i will die on this hill she was always really damn good. you didn't even need to use her ult every rotation to justify putting her on a team. but yeah shes obviously way better now

On a side note, Fischl and Yae Miko make for AMAZING synergy. I'm looking forward to Nahida to run my dendro over DMC, and throw them in with Jean (on VV) for big PP electro damage.

yae was my first 5 star, she was already a strong unit (I farmed for her artifacts for months) in my team, but she became even stronger since dendro was added, her skill used to deal 10k per turret but with dendro and vv shred she can deal 20-25k turret shots

I’ve been running a hyperbloom team with Yae/Kazuha/DMC/Kokomi. I think it works pretty well ‘cause Kazuha can group the cores so Yae’s turrets can hit them easier

My current yae comp is a hyperbloom team where I mostly use her long field time to fill in for Kokomi’s Jellyfish cooldown, since I don’t have the ER to burst consistently. It’s actually my current best team as far as Damage output goes and helped me 3-star what was left of the initial abyss! Tighnari on Gilded Yae on Gilded Kokomi on Deepwood Anemo character on VV. (I use Kazuha, but Sucrose may be arguably better thanks to her buff) Hooray! Whale teams! XD Though a decent budget option may be Collei/DMC on Deepwood Yae on Gilded Barbara on Maiden’s or Clam Sucrose on VV

I think it's pretty unfair to say she has no utility compared to fischl, since fischl only adds energy compared to yae. Also to get the most out of fischl's damage you need to auto attack a lot, where yae's damage is pure off-field.

Fischl’s damage is purely off field. Auto attacking is nice but it’s not necessary at all. Yae’s electro application is very lackluster compared to Fischl, and her energy generation is very poor. She can’t be driven the same way Fischl can, so her sole purpose is to add damage and occasionally dash around for a relatively long amount of time. Fischl has a lot more utility than Yae.

I think she works well. And she now even has a new set. I also found building her to be quite unique. Since she likes having the Widsith and her ascension stat is crit rate, I have an ER sands and an ATK circlet on her (still with a 64:158 ratio). And I mean, if you don't care about her burst at all, you can even swap the ER sands for an ATK sands to make even more damage with her turrets. That makes building her easier since I found it faster to just get a few good crit rate, crit damage rolls on the flower/feather instead of trying to get a crit circlet with good substats. ATK circlets come so much more often and getting a few good substats on them is actually quite easy.

I have been using Yae ever since I got Tighnari on his banner with Dendro Traveler. And it has always been amazing if not only because of the fungi drop materials I wouldn't switch to other teams

My Yae Miko was already strong long before dendro and got some crazy good times in abyss with my taser comp.

My fave team now is; Zhongli (Deep wood Set) Tighnari (WT Set) Kazuha/Venti (VV Set) and Yae 2pcs Atk/Electro (EM or Atk Sands) Kahuza supports Yae, Zhongli Supports everyone the shield and its passive not just the Dendro Shred for Tighnari. 💚💜

I run the same team but with a gilded set on Yae. I've tried it with Fischl but It takes longer to clear domains and I can already 36 star abyss with my team as it is.

My own biased opinion is that Yae is the second strongest electro dps in the game after Raiden now that dendro exists. My fastest clear times in this abyss came from using Yae+Fischl+DMC+Kazuha in the second half of floor 12, faster than my Keqing aggravate team. That team specifically feels unreasonably strong because it bandaids all of Yae's caveats (supporting characters that require little field time, Fischl + electro resonance allowing Yae to burst off cooldown, having Yae be the on-field driver occasionally since she already takes up so much field time, quick-swap playstyle that's fluid and has very little dps downtime allowing her to maintain buffs on her E despite it not snapshotting, strong in both single target and AoE scenarios) She may just deal damage, but the mechanics of her kit makes her a near perfect fit with dendro teams.

I guess i'll just say this to you because you sounded like you thought you did something wrong, but having Yae on field in that team is the correct thing so long as everyone else is active off cool down. Her applying Electro procs Fischl's A4, they mutually benefit each other, Yae makes Fischl stronger and Fischl makes Yae stronger. There was a C2 Miko with all 4* weapons, C0 Kazuha on bilibili that ran a 63 second total time for second half on 3.0 with practically same team but opted for Collei, so 21s average per chamber average. Same guy, yysucai if you want to find them, set time of 26 sec against the Matrix. Thing is there is no burst loading its just solid DPS unlike some burst or nuke teams one often sees in speedruns where after few rotations it completely falls apart, or even is only setup to work one chamber and one chamber only. All this and we don't even have crazy Dendro to pair with her yet. I guess the sad part is the Yae vs Fischl comparisons encourage a rivalry that shouldn't exist in same way Pyro DPS vs Xingqiu ever should.

@@Ottobon Oh I already know that playing her on-field is the most optimal way to play her in aggravate, I was just addressing it with her caveats in mind. I checked the person out and those runs are insane, I didn't know that you can skip the invisibility phase of the flying dorito by bursting the spawned objects right before it goes invisible. Also I agree, whenever I see a Yae vs Fischl comparison a part of me dies inside since Fischl is her best second electro pairing and in a way, they both cover for each other's shortcomings. I get that they both have off-field damage from their E, but that doesn't instantly make them compete with each other, the same way Yelan and Xingqiu don't compete with each other.

Actually with some of the tentative calcs that's been done on Yae, she actually can even outdamage C0 Raiden teams in single target scenarios. Yae Aggravate teams actually sheet similarly to some of the top single target teams out there like Rational and Double Hydro Hu Tao, which is insane considering that she doesn't require any of Bennett, Xingqiu, or Xiangling (the top 3 supports generally) to achieve that kind of DPS. I think it's actually possible to say that Yae is the best electro DPS we have comparing at C0- people seriously are underestimating the sheer power of aggravate teams. And I definitely agree Yae vs Fischl comparisons are very outdated now with Dendro. Yae's role in a team is to synergize with Fischl, not competing for a team slot. You'd be crazy not to run Yae-Fischl, and it's a synergy like Hu Tao-Xingqiu or Childe-Xiangling in terms of how strong it is.

@@aerohydra3849 Agree, comparing Yae and Fischl is stupid. They do not compete or share roles on most teams. Yae is more similar to Beidou than Fischl. Off field very strong aoe dps characters with high burst costs.

So for my current Yae team I’m actually using dori instead of fischl because it opens another slot. Maybe it’s cope or not meta but I use dori with healing circlet + exiles set (not even optimal, currently have def% goblet) + fav great sword to funnel a lot of energy to Miko while also giving a small but decent healing (3k x 6). With the genie, it’s energy restoration is only based on skill talent level so exiles is a decent set if I only need moderate amount of healing. With miko using a lot of field time to set/reset she can collect the extra energy from genie and burst generally restores on cd and she has 0 er built. With my team of miko lvl 80, kazuha 90, colli 50, and dori 60 I can easily clear 1st half of abyss 12 within the time frame and almost clear 2nd half (I’m less than 30 seconds off for chamber 3, that boss just has a lot of hp).

Just running Yae on-field solves a lot of problems, like energy or setup time and her normal attack scaling ain‘t that bad. But that introduces some other inconveniences. For example her being as squishy as an electro slime and completely relying on Zhonglis shield to survive. Still: Yae main for life lol

Literally just going for Yae b/c of character design & that’s it lol. Been playing Genshin for 6mons now so so have a lot of content to get through & experience. My pulls have been crazy good banner wise. Have a C6 Fischl who I love for extavly what you stated. Easy to build/add to any team & easy to use.

I cleared floor 12 with all stars using Kazuha, Dendro Traveler, Yae, and Kokomi. I just love Yae's design. I will say, I'm looking forward to getting Nahida to swap in for Traveler, and debating leveling Kuki even though I don't like her design much. I'm also going to pull for constellations on Yae's banner, as that ought to help with some of Yae's energy issues.

shes my fav. i have her c6 since debut and shes insane with dendro xD

I'm pulling her for my tighnari team, because in multi target situations I have difficulty coordinating attacks with Oz because I can't always see who he's attacking.

had tons of fun with her before dendro, still haven't used her in any of the updated comps, she'll probably be broken with Nahida

Great analysis dragonfly. yae is an amazing looking, high sub or potentially main dps dealing pleasure character. I don’t think I’d recommend her to those who aren’t in endgame or don’t have their support core units built. she is very hungry in a lot of areas - energy, general investment, field time, and even learning curve. It takes a decent amount of effort to learn her quirks. If you want to pull because she’s gorgeous, amen. Miko lovers please don’t let this vid stop you from enjoying her. But for the sake of everyone’s sanity, think before you comment something obvious and/or already addressed in the vid

As a yae Miko lover and main her ever since her release. I agree with the video (especially so when I've played her with various comps and builds for a year). Her clunky kit is still a problem that betrays her off field role and her energy cost is just an excuse for Raiden pairing which isn't enough justification for that cost imo since it only provides damage. The no ICD thing was news to me tho so maybe her burst being like that works especially well with Tighnari charged. Something I haven't tested yet even tho I have both lol.

Yae Miko has been very fun to use ever since I got her on the first banner. She runs with Raiden so energy is never a problem. With dendro she has very quickly become one of my best DPS characters. ❤

Regardless of clunkiness is so fun to swiftly dodge setting up a turret. Miko is just really fun and I don’t regret pulling her

I think Yae is supposed to be played on field with her autos and charged attack. They have a fairly large corridor aoe and triggering aggravate is super easy on multiple enemies. Put C6 Diona with EM but on burst and Yae hits so damn hard with autos.

Thanks, I was considering pulling for her but now I'm absolutely sure that I don't want her in my team no more. Saving my primos for Shogun instead.

I'm still hurting for what they did to her kit. I love her and I plan to make a second main team with dendro so it would be great to use her but I can't play around her requiring so much time on the field. So I will be not using her but I still enjoy videos about her :p

Her and Raiden are my top waifus, I love their designs and playstyles so it's a no brainer pull for me, even more so with dendro buffs now to my favorite element

I'm really torn on whether to pull for her or not. I have Kagura's Verity at 90 because I was trying to get Jadecutter for Ayato, but I also have a crowned Fischl (using R2 Stringless). Sitting on 190 wishes so I can get Nahida just fine, it's just if I should go for Yae afterwards.

the thing is, yae has long been a very good electro dps even before dendro... elemental skill basically has zero downtime, so if you build her with the right amount of atk and electro dmg, an anemo shred plus hydro or the usual bennett/sara buff is more than enough to clear any content... also been playing around with dendro recently, and yes it gives electro its own version of vape/melt, but its not necessarily "broken" as being advertised...

I feel like damage alone is enough for me to pick Yae over Fischl lol I love Fishcl but Yae is beautiful and does more damage which is more than enough for me to pick her.

[reposting Verzetta's comment since it somehow got hidden] If you like her as a character, Yae is worth pulling, don't worry. She has good damage output, and more importantly quality-of-life / comfort when fighting multiple enemies, especially in the openworld. You have to let go of the assumption that having similarity with Fischl is a "bad" thing, as we all know Fischl is good, then how about having "two" Fischls? You can think of it more or less like Yelan-Xingqiu / Hu Tao-Yoimiya / Kazuha-Sucrose / Ayaka-Ganyu situation, having a new similarly strong unit is not a bad thing, you can use them on the same team or they can each serve in two separate Abyss teams, and they both have personal strengths and weaknesses. Yae has the advantage of better electro application agains multiple enemies due to random targetting, and since her totem's lightnings attack from the sky, she doesn't have Fischl's problem where Oz can't hit anything if there's an obstacle in front of him (think of hilichurl towers or Zhongli's pillar). Fischl's A1 talent will more often than not provide great dps output when aggravate is rapidly triggered (ex: Keqing or even Yae herself), but if you just want to chill around the openworld where you don't have to rely on Fischl's battery to perform a whole Abyss team rotation everytime you meet small groups of hilichurls or slimes, you'd want to pick Yae. Or at least, i'd personally and happily do.

Got miko before I even knew a lot about wishing so she's my first limited banner character, I've had her on my journey till now when I'm AR 56 and I still lover her

I think I'm one of the few that likes the overload reaction so I pair her with Yan Fei. It's fun making your enemies blow up 😆

you are missing a very important detail yae Miko fits into another team archetype that wasn't mention here which will be getting a nice buff once her banner is out afk farming :P Yae Miko and albedo being the main ones and with her rerun comes layla, so now you also get to literally fall asleep in front of your enemies in your safety bubble while everything around you explodes :P

Ran her with only 104ER in abyss with Zhongli (4pc petra, fav lancd), Fischl, and DMC (4pc noblesse, fav sword) surprisingly, her burst is up just after the CD is done.

In longer fights Miko feels much smoother then Fischel. Fischel cants keep 100% uptime with Oz unless she bursts, which forces you to move around the field, where in Mikos case she can just spam E. Also I know this is for a C0 Miko, but if you do love her playstyle and go for C2 the range buff she gets is so big that you can just drop her skill anywhere and it just works. And one last little pro Miko has over Fischel is she is MUCH better for exploration. I dont even bother fighting most enemies and just let miko take them out while I collect stuff XD

When paired with Tighnari, I personally find Miko's skill to be more reliable than Fischl in terms of uptime and consistent Electro application over a wider radius. Fischl works better with DMC (and probably Nahida) for me, though.

Yae is 2nd best unit for open world exploration after Yelan. Her sticks do everything you want. And since 99.9% of the game is in open world, she's must pull.

One thing I would like to add in aggravate teams with fish Yae is better used as a onfield electro rather than offfield which reduces her energy cost by a significant amount (around 120) and this particular team is nearly as good as hutao(non homa) double hydro teams in single target fight .

I made a hyper bloom team with yae and nahida, at first I thought that yae couldn’t catch up to all the blooms that were being made because her turrets only target single enemies, but than i made her the main dps, her normal attacks would spread enough to hit every bloom that was being made while making blooms with xingqu’s burst and nahida’s skill

One important postive that is not mentioned here is her AoE capability, a cluster of enemies (which are quite common in abyss) will get decimated by her turrets/burst much quicker than Fischl. But otherwise, your comparison of Fischl vs Yae is pretty fair in single target situations.

She seems very fun to play as. Depending on how early Nahida comes, I might have enough pulls for Yae in case I don't lose 50/50s

Didn't pull for her when she was first released, definitely getting her this time with Layla as 4 rate up.

idk why teh fandom thinks yae is weak, she does what she does perfectly. shes there for off field damage and that damage is really good for hwat it is

I love fischl but I prefer having Kuki in her slot for survivability and TOM with freedom sworn buffing

Whether I get her is dependent on if I can get lucky on nahida an Yoimiya's banner. I do want her though

a good mention for Yae and fischl is that Yae has high aoe burst damage where fischl focuses on single target :) also if Yae is with Venti, she does quadratic scaling.. 1 totem strike will hit all enemies in Venti's blackhole.

When you don’t have Fischl nor Xingqiu- I do have Tighnari though. I’m mainly pulling for her for the damage.(also Layla) I recently started leveling Mona to increase damage output. My Bennett also is C1 which helps quite a bit too.

i did not build yae conventionally, i put some emblem of severed fate on her. Don't neccessarily know how her synergy with dendro is since I haven't even properly built collei and she only has 70 EM lmao but as she stands with some 200% ER i can make her pretty powerful with EoSF ngl. Might build her differently later down the line, who knows

I got Nahida and I need an electro unit in the team, should I pull for Yae Miko or wait for Raiden Shogun?

I have Yae miko, she really good in Dendro.

with dendro now iam using my Yae with 4 thunderfury EM EM EM she can easily do 38k~~ hyperbloom or 40k aggravate with the turret

I plan to build a pure C6 5* team… mainly Venti, Al Haitham, Yae, Zhongli. But I’m too broke to get any of them even to C1 Also I just wish they add a hold mechanic on her skill where if she has 3 turret charges she dashes backwards and casts three turrets at once.

I have C0 Fischl and C0 Yae, should I even consider building Fischl? I feel like her kit is so much better with constellations so I’m not sure if it’s worth it

fischl is worth it, i have her at c2 currently, but even at c0 she was my strongest and most useful character. plus you can get fischl constellations on the standard banner too

i run yae in a team with Raiden, kazuha, and xingqiu and it's so much fun. raidens skill plus kazuhas em support make her so strong and I don't even have to do anything. plus her turrets going off while I'm in raidens burst provide so much extra damage. ofc this team is a little bit of a glass cannon so you have to dodge well and pray xingqiu heals well. my other team with her is phys traveler, diona, and raiden. my trav does good damage,, but it's not great, so raiden and yae pick up the slack and the team ends up doing pretty well. other than that yae is rlly hard to slot,, like aggravate teams are hard bc there's so few dendro units,, and I don't think she benefits that much from overload. but electro charged teams with her are so good and so overlooked tbh

Hoping for a dendro healer/shielder so i can go Tighnari, Yae, Fish with this shielder/healer.

I've been using Yae for almost all of my abyss runs and she greatly helped me get that 36 stars! Especially in single target enemies! If you like her character and gameplay, you won't regret pulling for her :)

Yeah it's true whatever he's saying. I'm playing yae since her banner release and it's true that she doesn't have any utility or support capacity for the team. As for fischl was broken before even without dendro because she's a amezing battery and off field support. In genshin generally the dps characters are very lackluster in case of team support. It's not only yae you can see other dps like xiao, hutao, ayaka etc expect ofcourse Ganyu. Well i always play fish and yae together for maximum benifits so for me it's fine and now Nahida is coming so i hope her ICD will be Normal so that i can buff miko even more.

For Hyperbloom, Yae is a good trigger for it not because she can target them because she’ll only target them when no enemies are present, but because her turrets have a small AOE that are pretty easily able to hit the seeds huge hitbox! Grouping helps a lot with this as well

I need healing in my teams but i don't have Kuki But i find Dori to be a respectable partner for Yae Miko Electro resonance, healing, energy regen, i love her But i do have her build support Nari instead using the deepwood artifact set for instances like hyakunin ikki

Do you go EM sands over atk% on yae in quicken teams or in general even?

Outside of dendro teams, EM sands is not great. In quicken teams it can be competitive with ATK sands, and in hyperbloom teams it can pull ahead of ATK sands

As a Yae shrimp who also desperately needs someone to pair with Nahida and Fischl for an aggravate team, I'm planning on pulling for her because there's no downside!

I got her by accident while trying to get Fischl and I actually really like her! And he is right, she does need a lot of investment, even now I don't have a really good Yae, however, a sub dps Yae can be easier to build(since you need less energy) and her 100% uptime in her turrets allows her to basically have them all the time. If you want to pull for Yae, do it, but keep in mind that most of the time it's better to keep her turrets close(just use her E in a row and make a triangle) since you can save a little time and they have a good range anyways. Also, she is pretty frail, a glass canon of sorts, so be careful with enemies since they can mess you up when putting the turrets by canceling the placement while doing damage. A quick reminder that once you react electro with dendro the effect is an aura that lasts a while (hence why quantity is better then quality in dendro teams, as he said in the video), so make sure to ult when that aura in active, sometimes it can end in the middle of the ult and not all lightnings will have their max power One last thing is that Yae also works weirdly well with Yoimiya if you want some overload and don't have Raiden or use her in other team. Yae turrets allow Yoimiya to have aoe (with overload) while also attacking from a distance, however if does sacrifice the slot for the shielder in a regular yoimiya team (2 pyro, 1 shielder and 1 hydro apllicator)

as a yae main she is so fun to play and aggravate means u get the absolute satisfaction of high crits! my absolute fave thing lately has been yae miko aggravate hyper carry: miko, dendro trav, kazuha + zhongli is so fun and so simple! also fixes her energy issues massively bc favonius weapons on the supports are brilliant here! she does work in a lot of other teams but she does require a lot of investment and doesnt rlly buff the rest of her team as a sub dps, so thats why ppl often prefer fischl.

My experience with Yae Miko, prior to dendro. I was dealing 12k every E with the only buff being Zhonglis shield. In 15 hits thats 180,000 dmg without reactions. After dendro with Dendro Traveler, My Yae currently deals 19k every E with Zhongli shield (285k dmg total). And this is with Oathsworn Eye. She'd be so so much stronger with Skyward Atlas, Widsith or her BIS

My artifacts aren't as good as yours but what I love about Yae is her turrets can't miss. Unlike Oz if an enemy teleports/dashes. She's even better if you have Sucrose since her lightning bolts are all Aoe

I love Yae. I enjoy her playstyle and pairing her with Zhongli and Raiden solves a lot of her issues. She came at a time when I no longer needed more utility characters and just wanted more flashy oonga boonga. I do prefer multi taskers, but as a DPS I appreciate that she has some flex to use either her skill or burst to do damage and that she can be used on or off field. The issue isn't with her damage output but her mechanics. She's one of those characters you can probably tell from her trial whether you enjoy playing her or not. She takes her time setting up and it's not always a smooth operation; if that bothers you then she's probably an easy skip. If you don't mind spending a couple extra seconds on field with her and have a strong shield and battery for her, she's pure joy.

What could have happened if Yae Miko change, wasn't reverted, the change about attacking the closest enemy? Sometimes I wonder about now with dendro

Tbh I actually feel comfortable pulling on her banner now just to get Layla. If Miko comes home that’d awesome, but if she doesn’t that’s also awesome (guaranteed Alheitham)
