Premise of the vid is good and the presentation of the content is good too (although way too many sound effects). The jokes and the acting however were distracting and cringey. Finally, your script regarding the premium products sounds like it was written by the marketing team for the companies themselves.

seriously, you dont even need anti virus on windows 11. windows defender is ok when it comes to scanning your device and blocking malware

I like the minimalist antivirus software. Without tools that don't protect from viruses like password manager or "VPN". Main purpose of VPN is not protection. But to connect to e.g. corporate intranet.

Yes, you can find a whole bunch of videos, with the same title even, which are basically Symantec/Norton ads. Report them when you come across them. It's not legit.

What I do NOT like is when the reviews depend on how much the person is earning through the affiliate code they are giving out. Don't use a VPN, you are handing your data over to unknown people and have no control over it. It is sold on to others and manipulated.

Why are you judging windows defender on features it DOESN'T have? You should compare it against premium antivirus softwares on the features it does have. Like virus detection. If it misses more viruses than the paid options, then clearly it's $h1+. But the way you did it seems you're just a Microsoft hater and not a true reviewer

I find this video very very misleading. Microsoft Defender does support mac, have a dashboard or behavioural based detection. Microsoft also has a very strong support and advisory service network, but arguably, this service is only available to enterprise customers not individuals. If you are a large enterprise, Microsoft Defender is amongst the best, if not THE best antivirus avaiable.

Yeah, another sales promotion, but non-factual. There's not a supplied VPN that is worth the additional cost to buy a second-party AV Suite. I have full usability of my Windows laptop while running a Defender scan...so how slow is it?

You wouldn't know if things were not good. Symantec products are routinely classed as malware by most in the industry and the first thing that's done when repairing a system is to remove them.
