Hey, I'm Portuguese and a sporting fan. We've had some good players, and some players that have carried our club, for example, Bruno Fernandes, when he was here he was Sporting, he did everything for us, and I though I wouldn't see a player close to him at my club. How was I wrong, this is the best talent I've ever seen in my football club, everytime he does something I'm just flabbergasted, mouth open, no words to say. Fast, really strong, shot power, good dribbler, he has got it all!

Gyokeres is good and would be brilliant at Arsenal. 36 goals and 13 assists is phenomenal whether its the portuguese league or not. I think he will do it in the prem. He was also on the books at brighton he was the one mistake they made not giving him a chance

Out of all of the available strikers, Toney is getting old, Osimen is too greedy for the money and this Guy is the One who can take this Great Club forward, TBH DG 👌💯

Great video presentation. Straight shooter, football for fun 👍 ♥️ The best thing about the summer is that Arsenal will pretty much be able to pick who they want from anyone who is available (except Mbappe), and will likely be 1st choice for the player too.

Excellent analysis and assessment of Gyokeres, and in relation to the other strikers we've been linked to like Oshimen, Isak, Secko, Zirkzee and Boniface, he's the closest in style, type, physicality and age profile to the one that without question we definitely know that Arteta identified as what he wanted to spearhead our attacking front three...Vlahovic, which to me actively lends to the validity and likelihood of a genuine recruitment attempt for the Swede.

I went to watch coventry play about a year ago not knowing much about the squad. This guy stood out head and shoulders

Im sold on him for Arsenal! At first I was biased against him for all your reasons stated. But the more I watch him the more I think he will fit in and also give us something different. He can give us a strong press, hold up play is good, willingness to shoot, great ball striking ability, strong body, won’t get pushed around at all in the prem, plays with a chip on his shoulder wanting to prove himself, and I imagine he will only improve under Arteta’s system. He is a bit of a gamble, but I think it’s a better gamble than Toney or Osimhen.

As a sporting fan and seeing him play has been unreal. He did break our transfer record for this guy but it was so unexpected to see him play to this level. I think the best quality about this guy is he just never stop. He’s always running and always looking for the ball or the pass. I think sporting we have relied on his quality too much but he’s such a brilliant player. Also when you call sporting cp “sporting Lisbon” you’re actually calling us benfica. Great vid

When you consider Arsenal's perfect striker, it's Thierry Henry, but other than Kylian Mbappe, there aren't too many options available ❤😂 If you think a multifaceted position striker for Arsenal is a killer. Part of the problem is that Arteta is looking for 90-minute players. Active on attack and defense, physical, robust, athletic, aerial, incisive, ambidextrous, and a high football IQ. Funnily enough, Havertz is all these things, except he's not prolific enough. 20+ goals and 10+ assists are the minimum expectations we should have for a striker. If Gyokeres isn't our perfect striker he has to be close ❤😂

I was watching clips of Gyokeres. What actually impressed me about what I saw is that he actually made a lot of his goals with his skills. He isnt just a positional player that is in the right place at the right time. That makes him dangerous in the Salah, messi, Mbappe style. He would need to be migrate those skills to the PL. How much of what he does is confidence based, I dont know, but I think it is a big factor which might be an issue if he struggles. He also scores with his left and his right.

I’m not sure on him tbh, a lot of his goals come in transition and there’s tons of space in the box. He won’t get that at Arsenal cos teams usually set a low block

Not sure, the guy is definitely a late bloomer coz he is only hitting those Holland numbers at 25, never heard of those numbers at Coventry in the Nationwide league🤷 saying all that Arsenal have an eye for talent these days so I'll give him a try. I saw Osimhen in Africa cup but I wasn't impressed, Osimhen is letting the hype get to his head and the goals have dried ,Goykeres seems to be more clinical yet humbler dude so that's a plus for Arteta

*Agreed, but I personally would prefer Osimhen over Gyokeres* Osimhem is more explosive, tenacious (which Areteta loves), runs the channels better, and dominates the air better. The only aspect he's >> that V.O is his finishing, and I think Osimhem will actually score tons of goals in the Premier league. Don't let the drought in the AFCON fool you, he's a good goal scorer and has proven it in a better league.
