I remember how encouraged i was to hear his sermon just days after losing his wife. Wow.

He planned this expensive cruise while knowing he had unconfessed sin in his background going back a number of years! This suggests that he didnt forsee that his sin would catch up with him before this cruise happened. It also suggests that an unexpected force like blackmail entered, that forced his steping down and future cruise cancellation.

I lost a bit of respect when i found out he was the " spiritual father " of kirk Franklin

If King David was restored as all of his atrocities, then we all have the opportunity to find restoration in Jesus Christ! 🙏🙏🙏

Praise God that God in His sovereignty would allow us to be restored than wallow and drown in our sins, 2 Corinthians 2, BUT depending on the sin, he is not allowed to be restored to the pastoral office according Titus 1:5-9. Dr Evans has already failed in the regard of being "beyond reproach" as stated in Titus 1:5 because of his unbiblical teachings regarding God being a just God only IF He provides us a way to The Way. Wait a minute? The fallen world which we now stand is who's fault? Was it not man when we disobeyed God in the garden though Tony Evans says this at 1:54:44 - 1:55:15 to which Evans has not repented for publicly, people are out there supporting a heretical teaching. We are too concerned about what good someone has done to where the bad they have done, though unrepented of, just does not matter? This is not the example we see in 2 Corinthians 2 from Apostle Paul. Paul said the punishment for the guy who was kicked out in 1 Corinthians 5 was sufficient once the dude who was sleeping with his step-mother repented and not keep the guy on the outs for the sorrow would take him back to the world. Why do we figure we are able to do things differently than what the bible says? When we first come to Christ we ask for forgiveness for everything encompassing as sin, but when we are aware of what sin is while we are IN Christ, do we not ask for forgiveness for specific sins? How is it right that Evans would ask for forgiveness when he's not even stating what it is he needs to be forgiven for? rjc, would you receive an apology from someone and you do not know what they are apologizing for? Can we send people to jail and they do not know for what crime they committed? Where does Evans mentality and course of action regarding forgiveness to sin work in the bible or in our earthly realm? We have to truly consider this without blind faith in a man and his exploits.

@foxyjetta that would be all well and good if the bible did not say what it says about the status a pastor must uphold in the Bible. Titus 1, 1 Timothy 3. He could easily be foul and no one would challenge him just because of his exploits. He could be disqualified according to the scripture. Granted, you have a point about those being nosy, but being in line with God and His word takes precedence over the negative. Yes, Evans is causing confusion and knew full well he would. It's not okay. Come clean and no one will have anything to say other than what he reveals.

For over a year every time I listened to him on the radio (almost every night) he added to or twisted God’s Word. Friday he went on and on about 🦅 but it was all false information! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Good job on public repentance.. used some great passages from the old testament,and the New. Don't know much about Tony Evans, but my wife gave up listening to him years ago, she use to like him, but she told me she quit listening becouse she started seeing pride,but don't remember the details. I was disappointed and shocked but that was short lived because I know anyone of us can, will, and does sin. No Carla was not a member of Oak Cliff. She lived in GA with her pastor husband whose heart failed around the same time Miss Lois died. Yes, they were ministry friends with the Evans family but there is currently no evidence they committed adultery with one another.

Goodness, I wish I could have been live with you and the fam, brother Saiko. Praise God for this exposure and thank you, brother Saiko, for this video. I pray the truth does come out because it should be out. The first thought I heard when I listed to Evans' public response to the matter when he posed to be forgiven by his church and those who follow him..., I was like, but how when we don't know what the sin? I wish people would stop playing with the scriptures; Evans know he is not one bit of right. The uproar this is causing the church is terrible. Why we just can't humble ourselves when we're caught. Is every pastor that proud; that afraid to lose something that is not even theirs in the first place? This is unfortunate that the elders would involve themselves with Evans' sin and this is being done "quietly" as it will allow him to step back into the pastoral office without being biblically disqualified, which is so wrong. There is no conscience for God when human operate in such a way. This is sad.

1:55:00 - 1:55:15, is so important. Within those 15 seconds when Evans was asked by the reporter that he has to know what he was talking about was heresy, Evans replied, "I don't care...", and then follows up when challenged with the same question again by the reporter Evans replied with how much literature he read and it shock when a man who is a pastor who should have a healthy fear of God more than others on this planet would go the route of listening to themselves and the knowledge they gained believing that they have the authority to introduce something not spoken in God's Word and to speak for God where he does not have the authority to speak outside of biblical knowledge. Did God say He HAS TO provide a route for someone to be saved to justify Himself being a just God?!!! Like am flabbergasted that a pastor would just wipe out that our fallen state is our fault from the Garden... God would have been just to wipe us out for good. Like, this is amazing. The fact that he responded with "I don't care.", is so damning to his legacy; He does not care that brothers and sisters were going to him telling him that he was speaking heresy and to stop; Evans felt like he had to get that message out - that the human race was lacking something without him dropping such "profound knowledge". Unbelievable!!!!

Preparing for this livestream was indeed a task! Just when I thought I gathered all the receipts I needed, I kept finding more. What's worse IMO is how people can STILL defend Dr. Evans actions KNOWING he NEVER asked for forgiveness or shared with the church what EXACTLY his sin was. We're living in gullible times!

How can we ignore what the scripture says especially someone from Dallas seminary and I mean like CS Lewis said that the instrument is not broken when the musician plays it incorrectly, but wow, a lot of nonsense is coming out Dallas seminary. Even with God we do not pose for Him to forgive us without saying something of what we have done to show remorse. Granted when we are new to Christ we may initially ask for forgiveness for everything we've done, but once we're in Christ, we are held accountable to each crime (sin) and must ask for forgiveness for those specific things when we are aware of specific things. I had a feeling you kept finding information with the video being 3 hours. I got to halfway mark at 1.5 hours and could not believe it because it did not feel like it. The information was mind blowing. I am glad that I never thought to follow Evans' teachings.

Evans youngest son Jonathan, told the congregation that his father will return to the pulpit. He also said he only knows what everyone else knows. Evans daughter, Priscilla, is married to KLove radio's board member, now board president Jerry Shirer.

No 1 He never repented for the greater sin that he committed of teaching a different Gospel Galatians 1:8 according to this scripture he is ACCURSED...... NOBODY SEEMS TO REMEMBER OR EVEN CARE ABOUT THIS. HIS FALSE DOCTRINE STATES THAT ONE CAN BE SAVED APART FROM CHRIST.

The Holy Spirit taught me, you Repent from the same platform you commit sin. But w/o saying The Old Testament & The New Testament is for our example So, only Pride can make him think he is above every example God gave us. From Abraham(lying) Moses King David to Apostle Peter to the Woman at the well to Apostle Paul to Apostle John. Haughtiness comes before destruction & Pride be fore a fall! And automatically go back to God. Anyone old enough to see all creation was created by someone bigger than God. So much that you cry out & search who created the stars, the trees, those hunger & thirst & God will reveal himself to them. And we are all born into Adamic sin & need to be "born again" and face the Judgemennt seat if Christ or reject Jesus & face the Great White Throne Judgment to show why you are going to lake of fire for eternity! God in your Wrath, remember Mercy!!! Hakkuk 3:2. 1 Peter 4:17. 1 Cor 2:2. Luke 22:32

Dude should have confessed this mess when it happened. He continued preaching knowing what he had done was a sin and he needed to confess then.He can’t tell me shit at this point knowing he had a hidden agenda. I am highly dissatisfied with that apology he made to some folks,but not his church members. Like you stated what the f did he do in order for people to forgive him. I won’t be following him anymore and will donate his Tony Evans Bible. I have questions about old sin!! WTF is old sin? Sin is sin. At Louis' funeral, they said the Potter's House is the best church in the city and they prayed for Louis. Priscilla & her sister interviewed Christine Caine who is joyce myers's spiritual daughter...they all spoke highly of Joyce referring to her as "momma joyce." Evans has said "not all the prosperity teachers are bad." So on Sunday when the elder said, "we decree & declare that God will ____" it simply confirmed to me that they are a word of faith church. Seeing the ignorant comments from Oak Cliff members only reaffirmed that the OC sheep are still on milk!!!! They idolize the Evans family and dont know basic principles of God's Word. The Bible speaks about silly women who never come to the knowledge of the truth...I can't say for sure, but perhaps God is dealing with the Oak Cliff pews more than the OC pulpit. The ministry raises multiple millions of dollars every year through professional athletes, entertainers, etc. That is a lot of money!!!! Tony is omega psi phi and Priscilla is Delta Sigma Theta. She was also a beauty queen for the Alpha's & her niece Charis was also selected for that role & her aunt tweeted "keeping it in the family." Some say Evans is also a freemason which isn't a stretch after pledging the divine 9.

Dr. Tony Evans. Well known pastor in the Dallas Texas area.

My position is this, and some may disagree but thats fine 🤷🏾‍♂️ i feel that outside of the congregation he shepherds also whoever are the co elders he labors with, no one else should feel entitled to know the sins he's stepping down for, really for what reason should you know? Is it so you can make a righteous judgment? or maybe pray for his restoration? honestly ask yourself, have you checked your heart? why you wanna know? and as we all should know, slander and gossip is a given when it comes to the internet, sadly even amongst so called christians, especially when its concerning a well known person, lets just be 💯 furthermore heres something to consider if you're a professing christians, if you're not a christian that's sensitive to, and quick to acknowledge and repent of your own sins! you commit against God often, lets be real for many of us on a daily, and your first instinct is to condemn and or critique another person sins whether they be a pastor or whomever, your understanding of sin and Gods holy standard might be too small 🤷🏾‍♂️and if thats true, understand you cannot, and will not, be able to judge righteously on this matter or any, because you sir, you ma'am are a hypocrite! and by your own judgment of critique of someone's sin you are condemning yourself
