At least religion has outreach and charity programs at no coast to people, you see that in poor countries the world over. Has your local cult ever offered you a safe haven, food, water, medicine, counseling for FREE especially during calamities without expecting anything in return MANDATORILY. Yes you can point out some rotten apples in EVERY religion or any institution (religion, business, government, schools) but if you have traveled to developing countries (which i doubt you have) you see the service they provide and the simple fact remains The catholic church is still the biggest non-governmental charity institution in the whole world. As a very young, naive person 20+ years ago, I volunteered at a local Scientology church to assist with clerical help; having absolutely no idea whatsoever what the church was about. All of that changed when I started seeing correspondence from all corners of the globe from ex-students who were either angry, confused, traumatized, and/or financially drained. I quit my volunteer efforts several weeks later after realizing that I was in a pretty sinister environment. The psychological control is real. It is my opinion that the church is a dangerous cult operated by a group of pompous egomaniacs...Tom Cruise included.

Who are really in a much, much older and much larger cult. The same cult is now destroying the American way of life and takes pleasure in it. Trump is one, Zelensky is one, Putin is one... Half of your congress are dual citizens... it's time to wake up to the cult control of the nations of the world and to expose their beliefs for what they truly are. We've fought long and hard to separate religion and state and the cult is manipulating democracy to push it's religion upon the state. Marxism is a front.

@@uriituw ...you suggest I look into the cult, yet I have been looking into it and well aware of it since the late 80s. To me, it's no diferent to any other religion or church, they are all as bad as one another. I've also assisted in breaking people out of a real cul and am involved currently in the legal breaking down of a real cult in my own country, so I do know a bit. I am laregly unconcerned with Scientology, they may be annoying to some, threatening to others, but mostly people are just drama queens. I would be more concerned about the christian church and the hold many churches have over their people along with the brainwashing techniques used. So maybe you're the one that needs to wake the fu*k up a bit. Get a broader view of what you're talking about and stop believing everything you see.

They changed modes right after that moment from what i remeber and im thinking that now after reading your comment. The ones they sent out to speak to us must be decent enough trained though as I left thinking "ok they wouldn't get away with this back home but they never needed a punch in the face either" that added with the fact i was in someone elses country on holiday made me not think much of their militia side. Tom Cruise is almost certainly one of the best actor in the world with many idolizing him. He strives to be the no.1 & put in all possible efforts to achieve this. Scientology however is both a blessing & equally a curse to him. He is treated as an absolute god within that cult beside leader David Miscavige however this causes him to overlook the evil practices that that cult is using on their ordinary members. He also allows that cult to control him to the point that two women that loved him was forced to separate from him. I have no doubt he is also donating large portions of money that he earns to that cult to continually finance them. It is ridiculous of him rejecting psychiatry treatment and promoting "dianetics" which is literally pseudoscience and never been proven effective as the solution. It is doubtful Tom Cruise will ever changed and realized what he is supporting and sacrifice so much for....I can only say it is already too late & he will always remain a controversial figure in Hollywood.

If he loses money because his revenue dries up due to his sick relationship with a science fiction cult then maybe he will wake up and leave. Scientology’s poster boys exit will speak volumes to all members especially in Hollywood. He needs an intervention like a drug addict does and definitely needs deprogrammed from the cult. He is one sick man to put science fiction above Suri and so are all of the members who disown their children.

In the early '90's I often passed the Golden Era compound in San Jacinto, Ca. on Gilman Springs Rd. There were tons of kids on both sides of the compound, and it was common a crossing guard stopped traffic to allow the kids to cross the road. It was shocking to see their glazed-over eyes, their appearance of sleep deprivation, and the desperate looks of hopelessness. Always a sad, sad sight.
