See you guys on Sunday for another Premier Video Upload at 10AM Pacific Standard Time! I have since traveled and put considerable mileage on this helmet. It's nice that it is lighter than the Arai AD4. For Airflow, I need to try it out during summer to get a real comparison. Right now it's already winter and it feels same as my XD4 in terms of coolness and airflow. As I have state in the video. I still believe it is worth the investment, because of all the goodies it comes with off the bat. Arai XD4 vs Klim Krios Pro: it really now just comes down to personal preference. I personally love both of them. But of course my XD4 has seen too much mileage at this point so it is time to use the new helmet. I love the transition lens so much! warning: when using it with the beak and you flip the visor open while under the sun, it creates shaded shapes that take a few minutes to go away after you close the visor. It does not bother me personally. I still would rather have that transition lens on with the beak.

Nice review! The only recommendation I would have is to get better lighting so we can see a little better, seemed a little bit dark, but like your review style, very relaxed and informative.

Thank you! I love it. The small nit pick I have is that the transition lens doesn't quite clear up all the way when I am riding while the sun is setting. and it doesn't clear up fast enough when coming from a clear sky into a dark tunnel (even a long dark tunnel) so I just flip up the visor at that point. They do come with clear visor so I could always bring that with me to swap out when needed. I really like the fidlock system, very convenient and the helmet is comfy on long rides because it's so lightweight. very airy too.

Salamat. I try to be thorough on my reviews. Pero I just use the transitions lens kahit may minor inconvenience when you put the visor up in the sun, kc hinde nmn hassle siya. The shadow marks goes away so fast.

Enjoyed your video. I just ordered this helmet myself. I noticed that you mount your GoPro to the chin bar. I would like to do this also, but as you can imagine I don’t want to drill holes, use adhesives or any other type of permanent or invasive method to mount because it such an expensive helmet. What method do you use for mounting?

Congrats on your new helmet. You'll love it. Super light and comfy. On that picture, I'm using this claw mount kzread.info/dash/bejne/o5V7p6Zte7avY6w.html. However, you can't use your chin wind guard with that claw. So I am now mounting my helmet with this amzn.to/3s1ewtH Because I want to start using the wind guard.

Tusen Takk! Did I say that right? I am hoping to be able to ride again by February but the weather at that time is absolutely cold and full of windy rain & storms, so I am debating getting the other foot surgery taken cared of maybe and just heal altogether by June just in time for summer if everything goes well. I have recently used this helmet for a trip and so far my only complaint is not a real complaint. It ventilates too well that I should've known better and brought my Balaclava. Especially because I brought a bike without proper heating assistance (my 701) unlike the GS where I have a tall windscreen, heated grips and blizzard handguards for winter. Also using the beak...messes with the transition lens when you have the visor up for a while and when you put the visor down/close the visor...you get these streaks from the sun hitting the beak. It takes a minute for the streak/weird shadows to go away and have one full shade. Which also not a big deal for me. As I do not find it annoying. Also the first click when you open the visor is so high so definitely not pleasant riding with the visor on first click position. I may as well install the pinlock to avoid the fogging instead. Especially Feb to June here is still rainy.

It can be wise to get both surgery done before the summer season. I’ve heard that the klim is much ventilated. It can be good in the summer and when riding off-road. But in the spring and fall and for riding in higher speed maybe to ventilated. I always use balaclava or a buff even when it’s hot. I don’t like the wind in the neck between the helmet and the collar.

Oh I forgot. Tusen takk is almost right. It spells tusen tack in swedish and tusen takk in norwegian. It pronounced the same. Norwegian and swedish is very similar and we can understand each other almost perfect.
