You can usually get them pretty cheaply if you live near a gun range. Most ranges will happily sell you expended cartridge shells.

@@jazazzaza in fairness, i never looked, so it very well may be exactly as claimed, it just struck me as very odd, all things considered, then again once you add in cost of the machine, the mold materials and everything else,. its probably well well over 2500 dollars in value just to be ABLE to make it like this, and 1000 of thats probably just material costs,, so all things considered it is likely a valid claim, i was mostly hoping to know if there was a somthing more to the claim

Glad to see you’re using actual hydro dip film. I think it’s a huge improvement. I’ve never been a fan of the spray paint hydro dip; I think it looks so bad. It looks ok from a distance, which I think is what everyone kind of banks on. But up close, it always just looks awful, even when done “right…”

All the stuff he used to make it is pricey. The 3D printer is $5k. Lord only knows what that wacky sanding/sharpening thing cost. The furnace, the thing he used to hold the tube, the hydrodipping stuff, thats all gotta be thousands. This knife probably cost at least $10k to make.

@@MikeL-FL The value is pretty much always about the knife itself, all the tools cannot be directed into one knife man. The knife itself is made out of brass.... Thats not really valuable, if it were to be gold the claim would be more believable.

It’s liquid rubber. Not bubble free ;) I put it in the vacuum chamber before pouring.
