This channel's videos are both soothing and motivating. The host's politeness and humbleness while he performs such "coolness" is even more impressive. I'm pretty sure that the downvoters (I should say, the jealous downvoters) don't appreciate that aspect. He's not a cocky showoff. He's just doing cool stuff, and sharing the experience. He even acts on viewer suggestions. How cool is that!!

One of the great things about these videos is the intelligent use of fast-play on long time monotonous actions, and skipping to the next step, both after showing what's being done first at regular speed. I find this editing effort both makes much more engrossing videos, and regard the effort to do that as respectful of MY time in watching. Meanwhile the host spends many hours doing the subjects, and then more time editing. Lots of hard work - that *pays off.* I love it. Love it!

Gorgeous work!!
When you use bucket casings for another project try and take out the primers. They are probably a reason for the impurities
@GigsVT
6 жыл бұрын
KQSxMamba brass melts higher than zinc burns. you cant really cast brass in an oxygen atmosphere without the zinc spontaneously combusting. he would have better luck with an argon flush system in the mold. primers are pure brass with some residue and that floats in the dross. primers arent the problem its the zinc burning
Is it just me or does anyone else find these videos satisfying? Like if you agree
Exquisite workmanship.
Very impressive. Well done!
From the little i know / seen about casting... I think you forgot a vent hole on the sand. Probably would make the casting a little less messy and safer. Other wise nice video!

I recommend to do a second hole for the ait to come out while pouring the molten metal. When you pour in the metal the air inside of the cast needs to escape but there is only one hole where the metal comes in. With a second hole there are no bubbles coming out of the hole anymore. nice work
@kubeek
5 жыл бұрын
also the inlet needs to be a cone or cylinder with a large mass of brass in it, so the cooling ball has a reservoir to suck additional metal in as it cools
@camdencavinlibby2748

Dude you need to add another breathing hole to the mold. That way there's no bubbles and you can get the *entire* thing filled up.

This is beautifully poetic. He took something, a weapon of war meant for killing a man and he completely transformed it into something amazing. No longer will these bullets be used as projectiles for man's silly firearms! As now, he has created a brass cannonball to be shot at not just one, but hordes of enemy soldiers, blasting through infantry and decimating their front lines! Brilliant!
