About to graduate from KU and without a doubt, it is the best sporting venue I’ve ever been to. I’d love to check out Cameron indoor and a few other iconic arenas. But Allen fieldhouse is chills every time a game is about to start.

Only 2 sports venues can be compared to Allen Fieldhouse. Wrigley and Fenway..all other venues are New they might be big and pretty they don't have that mysterious vibe that these 3 places have

I would say Kentuckys Rupp area would, holding 4,500 more fans, it's that Kansas' area is much more confined space packed like sardines in there, Rupp area is just massive, like twice the ceiling height

@toodieceaser The sound reverberats at Kansas just because it's smaller. Rupp is massive it feels twice of big, I been to both and Kansas is like sardines yelling in a can

Our arena is smaller that’s why it’s louder. And we have no other sport to cheer for beside basketball.

Yeah but the trade off is having to live in Kansas so it negates itself

Might wanna double check your facts! Zags are right there with Kansas no matter what ya might think of the WCC the Kennel is absolutely insane for nearly every home game. Why do you think no team out of conference wants to play at the Kennel 😁

Kansas has the world record for loudest indoor stadium and the W/L record to back it up. Zags are great at home but you’re not Kansas.

Kansas has played vastly, *incomparably* tougher opponents at home, for decades. This year the Big 12 had a nation-high 70 percent of teams in the 2023 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. The Big 12 tied its own record as the only league to place 70 percent of men’s basketball teams in the NCAA Championship. Seven Big 12 teams played in the Big Dance for the seventh season since 2010, including six of the last nine tournaments conducted. The Big 12 has had six or more NCAA Championship teams in 19 of 26 years, including 10 seasons since 2012. From 2014-23, the Big 12 has 60 selections, the third-best total of any conference. The Big 12 has captured the two back to back national championships with Baylor winning the 2021 title and Kansas bringing home the 2022 trophy. KU was virtually certain to win it all in 2020 but Covid-19 prevented the tournament. Conference teams have played in the last four recent Final Fours and three national championship games. Sixty percent of Big 12 institutions have advanced to the Final Four since 2002, the highest percentage among conferences.

Yeah, this is just a moronic comment. We are beating top 10 teams (plural) at Allen Fieldhouse every year, you don’t play a top ten team at the Kennel every year. It’s also insanely louder and steeped with insane tradition, brother, nobody has your home atmosphere in the top 10. Even my friend, who went to Gonzaga is laughing right now at your comment, as he’s been to both.
