Any dealership tune ups? Maintenance for spark plugs or fuel injection treatment?
I have had mine for almost 3weeks and loving every minute of it ! Its a Badass car a very nice street sleeper!
I'm in Texas. I've got a 2021. For what it is, it's a blast. It's fun shocking the hell out of "big boys" like Charger RTs and numerous European badges. It's not a track car. It's a fun daily driver. I drove from Dallas to Austin and back in the same day. 450 MI on a tank and I was not exactly driving like the reasonable and prudent sedate older gentleman that I appear to be. 😉

Had mine for 10 days. Absolutely love it.
Sunday I just picked up a new '23. Thanks for the video. I was out looking for a car this weekend. My range of what I was looking for was huge. I am 6'6" and shaped like the younger, larger gentleman of this video. Except I have linebacker shoulders. My wife is 6'2". I was looking for something we fit in. I have been an Accord driver my entire life. I love them. I sat in over 30 vehicles this last weekend. I honestly thought we were going to get an SUV or a Pilot. This car has more front cabin space than many SUVs. (Not the Pilot, however many things the size of the Pilot is more cramped than the N line Sonata.) It is spacious and comfortable. The fact that this car has so much wrapped in one for the price is absolutely crazy. It is a beautiful blend of sports/sedan/intro luxury with decent mpg all for a crazy good price. All weekend people are trying to show me Chargers and things of that ilk. I kept saying I am not looking for a sports car. I need to be comfortable. I end up getting a car that dusts a Charger not only off the line but in the hills too. :facepalm: Also to note, my wife does not have a license yet. I am going to teacher her how to drive. She is asking if she can learn to drive in this. I feel absolutely comfortable teaching her to drive in this. As is pointed out in this video. The normal drive mode has a smooth appropriate dilled in steering. When in sport it tightens it all up. It is also very well balanced and handles wonderfully on the road. The pedals are not overly sensitive. the engine does not surge if you are driving slow. However, I still have instant power and handles wonderfully. Also comes with modern safety features, driving assists. It will keep her (or me) from sideswiping or plowing into a car. You can turn that stuff off. Or have parts of it on. Edit: We took this on Highway One (Northern Cali Coast) This car was just planted. I did not look for the limit. I kept it safe. I agree, the car does make you want to know where the limits are. The largest issue with this car: I have had it less than three days and way too many young dangerous fools are trying to race me. Or trying to run up on my tail, or cut me off etc. Take that crap to the track.

I've only had my car since December and I'm dealing with the same issue of having people cut me off and wanting to race. Enjoy the car, ignore the haters.

Best review and this is my 7th one. Bought the 22 nline. Love it
Sold my Infiniti and signed a lease on a ‘23 N-Line two months ago - same color, and all. Absolutely love it as a true sleeper, having already beaten quite a few cars from a dig or roll before they realize what it actually is. Totally in agreement with your comprehensively-detailed review - SUBSCRIBED!

Just sold my 21 n line, bought a 2008 g35 with 75k Km on it (project car) stock feels quite a bit faster than my old N line. Don’t get me wrong I LOVED the sonata and maybe I just got used to it but personally I think the g35 has a better drive.

@@nvoll24 Ironically, the Infiniti I just sold was a G35S. I definitely agree with you though, I love the drive of it and believe it handles better, but so surprised at how good the dynamics of the Sonata are for what it is. Honestly I love how “German-like” it feels.

@@donteadoss yes that’s exactly what I bought, the “s” gives it a really well tuned suspension. Completely agree about the n line though, It is near impossible to find a brand new car at the price point of the sonata with that performance. Hell I gapped some older Audi s4s in the sonata.

So I have driven this car, with the summer tires and with launch control, my 0-60 was 5.1. Still fast for to being a FWD car. It can even keep up with some V6s on the road. This thing is a sleeper. I just wish it was AWD and had a LSD

It can get away with fwd and a lsd, and it would be the best in the segment with no debate
Nice review...from a truck guy(s)! I have a 23 with a Borla cat-back, black chrome tips (sleeper). Not tuned, no drone, sounds great...and it does still have some ("snap-crackle-pops") when in sport mode, in various situations. Running the OEM sized tire on OEM rims, with VREDESTEIN WINTRAC PRO tires. Couldn't be happier. (Wisconsin)

Great review and final thoughts guys 👍🏼 We picked up ours a few weeks ago in the same white with Pearl. Love it!! No CUV here!
Why are you putting a $35k car in an under 70k bracket? Ofcourse the answer is no. Under $40k? Maybe Also this might be the first time I've heard someone consider the wheel spin a good thing lol
@TexasTruckChannel
Жыл бұрын
We put it in that category because it is just that good. In that section we were mostly focused on its driving dynamics. It punches above its class. Also wheel spin is a laugh, and entertaining, even if it’s slower on track. On road it’s more of a laugh.
@BubbaPyro99
Жыл бұрын
@Texas Truck Channel this is kind of why I want it. I'm not trying to race people on the street, I'd rather have some fun wheelspin that takes passengers off-guard than have an extra sliver of time shaved off on a quarter mile run that I'd never be doing in my daily
Jury is still out on Hyundai 2.5 Turbo reliability ! Had a theta engine Hyundai with nothing but engine problems & a dealership that needs a stick of dynamite ! I'll never buy another Hyundai again !!
@TexasTruckChannel

That really stinks! Fingers crossed that gets better… and that dealer finds that dynamite. We happen to own a theta 2.0 turbo and it’s been problem free so far.

N-line is the cheaper version of the N. If you want a Hyundai performance car get the N.
@jeffjenovese8780

The sonata n line is the n of the sonata there is no n. It's not a trim package it's a performance package. It's the same 2.5 Turbo they use in the Genesis lower trim models. Horsepower and torque are underrated from the factory. I own one.

@@nmode22 The Sonata N-Line is not just a trim package...as noted in the video. It's not just a few cosmetic upgrades. It is the N of this model. Making a Sonata "N" would push it too close to an awd Genesis line. Hyundai didn't confuse themselves. Or maybe they are looking at ditching the 2.5 Genesis and will come out with a Sonata awd N version that bridges the Sonata to just the 3.3 genesis. 20K less than a Stinger, I can't complained. Owned both. The 55+ tag on the Stinger/G70 3.3 AWD, is overrated imo.
