This is a phenomenal light! I am ectremely impressed with it, and I own over 60 flashlights. Their X1 is even more impressive holding 2500 lumen for 2 hours with a built-in fan!

just ordered one in white for myself. I had a cheap $25 dollar streamlight for awhile i lost it a few weeks ago so i figured now is a good time to upgrade

I can't wait till the wuben comes out with the benuben. That's gonna really be the best.

Neat light, not for me but still cool!

Talking about paying attention to details, you should noticed that the silicone rubber cap has a position mark inside itself to put it correctly. You pushed it to the end and that's too much (the deformation on the rubber sides is the clue, besides there's no room left for air, so the leds will keep the hot much more). Because of that the head will get hotter that it should, so you could damage the leds or something. Be careful, bro.

Soooo. Its not available. No idea why a big flashlight company needs a kickstarter though

The Wuben web site says "In Stock" but its Chinese new year until mid Feb. I would not count on them getting shipped until the end of February.

Would sure like to know where MINE is! Paid for a month ago and not a word -

If it's in the Kickstarter campaign I'm fairly sure you don't get them until the campaign ends which if you look at their timeline states that they anticipated shipping in January... Which of course is only an estimate. So I guess it should be soon theoretically?

I am in the same boat. But its Chinese new year, which if I am correct does not end until Feb 16. So I am not even going to request a status until the end of February.

I ordered one over a month ago. Haven't heard anything since! I also ordered the larger one and was sent s shipping notification but the tracking number says its been sitting in New Jersey for a month. I wouldn't suggest doing business with this company. There is no phone number to call. I send sn emai and they just send a reply eith the same tracking number. I guess I'll notify my credit card company and see if I can get my money refunded.

I have bought a lot of Wubens directly from their site, never had a real problem. Coming from China shipping can be frustrating. Just one of the things you deal with when buying directly from a Chinese company. I am still waiting on mine also. Its Chinese new year, which does not even end until mid February. So I am not going to be concerned until the end of February.

Their lights are phenomenal and I have four of them in different flavors including that beast of a light the X1 Falcon! The real problem with Wuben is wonky and terrible customer service! It can take them nearly a month to get back to you and the X2, when I ordered it, was listed as "in stock," but I later find out that they're shipping at the end of February. Unfortunately I finally canceled the order and will take another look when I can buy it through Amazon or some other third party who delivers quickly and with clearly set expectations. It's unfortunate because, as mentioned, the lights themselves are extremely well made and innovative! Thanks for an in-depth and great review as always! 👊🔦👍

Wuben spent their time on the packaging and the design of the lanyard LOL!! The light itself...not as much....and doesn't really make that much sense in opreation. the UI. ALL lights should have " a firefly mode sub 1 lm, 3 modes L/M/H and 2 clicks to Turbo. Yet that hasn't been an "industry standard"....Fenix doesn't offer FF modes on any of their lightgs and they don't offer instant access to Turbo via 2-clicks. Having the ability to customize the 3 modes is good but doesn't work using "infinity ramping"...you never really know where you are. You have to GUESS. Had they included a LED numeric readout like Nitecore has on a few of their lights then "infiniy ramping" would work...make sense. Wuben should focus on the light/UI first....the rest is literally just "wrapping". You don't want to be famous for your innovative lanyard/USB-in-one :)) Be known for the light itself.

I can only half agree with you. Some very valid statements for sure. However... I personally don't need to be told a lumen output... My eyes can be the judge of that. So infinite ramp IS effective. The low output is perfect for MY needs... Maybe not yours so YES... if they offer the ability to adjust and go infinite ramp then they should let it basically go down to 0... Why not? I think they sweated most of the details... It's a fantastic light... Very very good. And yes Fenix UI blows. Thanks for watching... And good points.

Wubens ui has been loved by pretty much every enthusiast I've seen talking about it.. A sub lumen mode would be nice but 5lm is good enough for most people. What you're writing is just like super subjective, I get where you're coming from but with those requirements you'll have to buy a tactical light I think, this one isn't one of those.
