I definitely agree with your closing thoughts about the E2 and Porter. I flew round trip with them to YVR last month, and my seat neighbour on the return leg, who was flying Porter for the first time, was blown away with the whole experience. The entire flight he kept telling me he'd never fly with Air Canada or West Jet cross Canada again lol. Nice video!

Yes! This is the first time Air Canada and WestJet have competition that is not a LCC. I hope AC and WJ respond by improving their service.

Definitely a very quite plane, similar to A220 in my opinion.

They have Porter to Las Vegas now so you should give that a try.

Porter is great until you have to deal with cancellations then its hell. I had a rebooked newark to new york flight turn into a newark to ottawa and then ottawa toronto flight.

That can be a problem with any airline. But yeah, small airlines such as porter have a harder time dealing with cancellations. Although, the recent weather events on the east coast had Air Canada cancel many flights out of New York. Some people I know were stuck there.

Porter changed their policy for support animals. My elder support worker, at my request booked my flight to toronto for specialist care. I found out too late of the change of policy, would have had to chop my dog in half to be allowed on the flight and they had no provision to fly him in cargo because they save that space for able bodied peoples' luggage. I was not able to get a refund. Despicable imo!

i flew porter i hated it i think air canada is so much better
