BN150/151 are definitely in the top 10 dive watches on the market today. And ISO rated too. So it's not a poser watch. It's the real deal. The Seiko Solar Tuna is excellent too.

Nice video - thanks. Love this watch, and wear it on three different straps. I don’t wear it on the original, as you mentioned most people don’t. I think you’re the only person I’ve seen mention the gapped teeth zones on the bezel. If you aren’t intentional with where you grab it, it can be harder to rotate. But, whatever - it’s solid bezel and I still love the watch!

I liked my 151 so much, I bought the 150 as well. Well made. Stylish. A great choice, a great value.

Just purchased this watch yesterday, paid $240 on Amazon. Nice side by side comparison with the Duro which I have and it's a nice watch but not as nice as the Citizen but again for $60 it's offers a lot for the money. The Citizen is a simple but masculine watch. I'm looking forward to it's arrival.

I don't have mine anymore, but it was a great watch for me when I had it. What isn't talked about much is how these affordable Promaster divers have what are called "Grand Seiko style" hands in the watch modding community. If I were to buy another one, I'd get the blue dialed BN0151-09L

My wife's daily wearer, she also uses it as back up for her dive computer. A nice chunky tool watch for around £150, and it never needs a battery change. A great watch.

Sorry - I didn't find any info on that. It's not a watch that gets modded a lot and I couldn't even find the oem hands for sale separately.

Bought one but I'm slightly disappointed it's a sturdy care free watch but the 44mm size is deceiving it wears rather small on my 7.3 inch wrist it looks more like a 40/41mm, maybe because of the narrower lug and strap size, I guess that's the downside of buying online without trying it out, not sure if it's going to be a keeper for me.

Is the bezel plastic? and it that normal for a bezel? thought it would be stainless steel like the case.

Bezel is stainless steel. Bezel insert is aluminum

I have the automatic NY0400 and loving it. I have a small wrist and the eco drive wears larger on my wrist otherwise I would have bought this one

That's an interesting watch with crown at 8 and hand winding but no hacking if I recall. Saw a video on it recently. Wish I could find a review video on the new model Bn0155-08e

Tough to say for sure. I sold mine and it does not mention it on case back. My guess would be some parts made in Japan but assembly occurred elsewhere like China. If it was entirely made in Japan I would think they would mention that prominently.

Do you, or anyone, know, if you could remove the writing on the original strap, with alcohol, or something, without damaging the strap,, ???

Not sure - maybe nail polish remover? You could test it on underside of strap

I've done this. A small amount of nail polish remover on a cloth takes the writing straight off with no discolouration to the strap.

I used a little lacquer thinner removed the lettering in seconds with no discoloration to strap. Looks like it came that way. .

Do you think this is a good watch for shooting sports?

Sure why not. I really can't imagine anything this watch couldn't handle work or recreation wise.

There so affordable I have three of them.
