Is This Thailand’s Last Untouched Paradise? (Koh Kood)

Is This Thailand’s Last Untouched Paradise? (Koh Kood) - East Thailand Island Trip Ep. 7
The adventure of the neighboring island Koh Mak ➡ • Nobody Visits Koh Mak,...
Today we are exploring around Koh Kood. This less known island in the Trat province here in eastern Thailand is not that popular for people that travel Thailand. Koh Kood (or Koh Kut) is often not on the list of places to visit. But why? I’ll take you on a journey around this beautiful island of Koh Kood today, let’s see how far away it is from the mass tourism in Thailand. Maybe this is one of Thailand’s last untouched paradise islands!

Most of the dogs seen in the video are Thai ridgeback crossbreeds, so they are sometimes aggressive. Farmer guard dogs tend to look like this. The statue you see is Prince of Chumphon, his title as "the Father of the Thai Navy"

Another awesome vlog Ken and love this island for sure. You are totally at the right place there Ken away from the hustle and bustle of places like Samui. I checked a few live web cams around Samui on You Tube and, for sure, Samui is starting to come alive again with tourists. I certainly prefer the peace and quiet in my life. I most enjoy the fact you love to interact with the Thai people and try making conversation with them. That is something I loved doing on my ventures in Thailand over the years. Thanks again for your work, always enjoy what you do and how you present it :)

Guten abend Herr Ken, Wow! Koh Kood is indeed incredibly beautiful! You're actually a stone throw from Cambodia according to the map. I notice very familiar plants and vegetation similar to that of Koh Mak's! If I'm not mistaken, the tall skinny trees appear to be rubber plantation. Although, I could be wrong! The view of the ocean from atop the bell tower or whatever that structure was is truly breathtaking! Once again I'm amazed by how populated the island is! Great job presenting the island life in the video! And what a way to end it with an incredible sunset! Take care and stay safe! Ciao und Aufwedersehen!

Don,t worry mass tourism will get to the island like it has so many beautiful undiscovered places. I can remember places in Thailand twenty years ago with rarely a white face in sight. As soon as lonely Planet found it kiss paradise goodbye. The types of foreigners these places tend to attract in a short amount of time the Thais get sick of our often rude behavior and then the cycle starts. I just no longer visit these places they lost their charm quickly. As soon as you see a Motorbike For Rent sign in English its only a matter of time.
