Well done James, that was absolutely stunning. Got to say, you really pick the weather. Amazing views, great commentary and I'm having difficulty deciding if the views in your Skye videos are better or not?? Anyway, both were brilliant as far as I'm concerned. Well done, and keep it up. Cheers, Ozzy. PS, wish I lived a bit closer rather than 450 miles south, I'd be amongst it every day off work.😂

brilliant 10 out of 10, what weather and solitude. I think A'Mhaighdean is my favourite munro. the two Corbetts are wonderful. I did the Corbetts with a friend Alan, who I met at Rattagan, he continued over to Letterewe to walk the Corbetts. Again a beautiful quiet area with golden eagles and horses.

Super video James. What a great two days you had in what is a truly remote area. Certainly not a place for mishaps. The conditions, although dry, looked demanding, but you were rewarded with superb views, particularly the one from the summit of A’Mhaighdean, one of the prized Munro summits. I know from my trip into that group, the sense of remoteness is palpable, but exciting. Thank you again for sharing the video.

Your film making is really second to none of all the folks making these type of Munro films. Dead jammy with the weather once again I see. I also approached from the south in 2019 in a similar heat wave and was too afraid of running out of water to camp on top of A'Mhaighdean, so I camped at the bealach before Beinn Tarsunn. Its a 10/10 for me too. A'Mhaighdean without a doubt is the finest view of any Munro.

Brilliant James, I was in the area last year. Walked in from Kinlochewe via Slioch in amazing weather, and camped on the shores of Loch Fada, hoping to summiting Beinn Tarsuinn and A'Mhaighdean the next day. The weather turned dramatically, and we got up Beinn Tarsuinn in 50 mph sideways rain but abandoned the idea of A'Mhaighdean (or Armaggedon, as we called it) in favour of getting back to our camp before walking out in lovely weather again the next day. I keep saying I'll go back and get the rest of the Fisherfield Munros.

That was fabulous, particularly the ligt you had on day 1. That NW ridge of A'Mhaghdean is utterly stunning to look at and I have yet to do it - definitely on my bucket list. Just one correction to your translation. Beinn Tarsuinn means Transverse, (not Transfers,) Hill, i.e a hill that lines itself at right angles to the general hill lines around. In this case it is actually a great crossover from Mulloch Coire Mhic Fhearchair to A' Mhaghdean, but in general Beinn Tarsuinns are a bit of a pain in the way they line up with the ridges around.

James, my friend - what a campsite that was, and all to yourself, eh? Just as well you got it in before the monsoon season came upon us, too! And if I may say, the benefits of all that climbing on Skye are plain to see - as from the back at least, your hips, bum and thighs are a different shape from how there were before. If you weren't spoken for already, you'd have them queuing right around the block! Well done; hope your subsequent trips aren't too damp.

Amazing weather for an amazing trip. The Fisherfield is something else. It’s interesting that the more recently preferred approach now seems to be from Kinlochewe since the demotion of Beinn a’Chlaidheimh. The round from Shenevall is probably easier, although it involves the river crossing which, if in spate would be very difficult. When you go back to do the Corbetts in the Fisherfield I do recommend a crossing of the area from Dundonnell to Poolewe. We did it over six days, stopping 2 nights at Shenavall and Carn Mor. It is an amazing Exped. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful video, stunning views. I agree it is most definitely a place to linger if the weather is kind. I most recently walked in the way your went and enjoyed good weather and great views. I have also come in from Poolewe by foot. As you like biking I can recommend that route too as I noticed plenty riding in. Another idea I have been brewing is the possibility of biking in from Dundonnel, camping or staying at the bothy at Sheneval taking in some/all of the tops and then biking out to Poolewe. That would make an excellent trip I would say. I would agree with you that A’Mhaighdean is probably my favourite Munro, particularly for its remoteness and the views from it. Long may the Fisherfield remain the wilderness it surely is.

Great video James. I did those from Kinlochewe as well and camped at Beinn Tarsuinn. The views are brilliant. I also had great weather, wouldn’t like to do it in anything less tbh, very remote.

Have you considered bivvying when the forecast is dry? Saves a lot of weight not having to carry a tent
