@@Sbinthammad2893 I know 1984 and 1947 both, and also 89-90 in Kashmir, better than you. 84 was horrible but it was political and its been 40 years. Dont forget how Salman Khurshid supported the Gandhi family and tried to save Sajjan Kumar. Ordinary Hindu families dint do that. On the contrary, both communities go to Gurdwaras regularly. Do seva, Langar, Daan. We were looked after by our Hindu friends. My own cousins also in Pitampura and Rajouri area of west Delhi were saved by their Hindu neighbours like most other Sikhs who were saved bcoz Sikhs and Hindus usually live in same areas...else we would have become another Lahore or Rawalpindi where sikh population after partition came down to a few 100s...Anways i suggest you not to get into these areas which do not concern you. . Coming to the topic, Legally Kashmir is part of India whether you accept it or not. You have the right to have your own opinion. Nothing wrong in that, but it shouldnt be based on what a few people think. I know Kashmiris also who support concepts like Ghazwa-e-Hind. So all sorts of people are there everywhere. There are still issues outstanding in Kashmir as i have said, but a lot of +ve changes have happened recently which are being appreciated more openly, at a time when Gilgit Baltistan is seeing sectarian violence and instability. Even Shehla Rashid, a modi hater has appreciated her efforts in Kashmir. So that is fair game. In 1980s it was impossible to show any sort of appreciation towards India there, in the open....

@@CrosshairOp what's illegal? As far as, I know India has legal documents for accession of kashmir. And it's decided that the population will be exchanged. So if any Muslim wanted to live under islamic Shariah, he/she had to migrate to the territory of Pakistan like Hindus and sikhs of Punjab and Bengal had to do, even though it was Muslims' dream of making a Shariah under khilafat, not the innocent Hindus and sikhs.

Yes I also visited in 2015 it was very scary atmosphere and army personnel at every 100m whole charm and glory of heaven on earth was got suppressed due to this Islamic terrorism but glad to see tha due to efforts of modiji and bjp government kashmir is gaining back its glory❤ Bharat is getting to new heights which we lost in some medieval period 🇮🇳🚩🚩

Hahaha true but we want to be respected whereever we go , i remember pulwama attack how PPL from different cities were looking for us kashmiri to beat them up when we had nothing to do with the attack , we condemn every thing bad happening anywhere in the world , I have so many friends out side kashmir good people and loving , we love India but we wanna feel valued wherever we go, we can't get apartments in delhi so easily as rest of the PPL from other cities get , I wanna know the reason we are good PPL and we should feel proud to be with India that's how it is

As A Kashmiri, I feel like we need more people like you from foreign countries to explore and share your experience in your vlogs, I like this style of vlogging, continuous walking, recording the whole day and random interactions with locals, just Like Dale Phillip. It's like One man Vs the whole Kashmir LOL. I couldn't appreciate your vlogs enough. I'm sorry that you had to find out the hard way but yes, don't ask Kashmiri locals for any directions, as much as they would like to help, they're often wrong because they are very presumptuous especially those who don't speak English or often misunderstand it. Haha thanks for saying that. I was on a bike trip in Kashmir for 1 week in 2019. And whenever I asked any local for directions, it was always all wrong. Even in the hilly, mountainous regions. I mean, irritating as it may be, it can also be dangerous. People in other hilly regions of India like HP, UK are very precise with directions. I guess every place is different.

I'll tell you my story, I was in Zakura, went to give my exam there, I was close to the college about 10-20 meters away, but I couldn't see it so I asked the locals if there was a College nearby and none of them seemed to know... I walked a few meters and Found a Big ass board that read "Women's College, Zakura". I was like WTF....

Hi i hope you are enjoying the diversity in india. Being a kashmir i really enjoyed watching your vlogs. When you were looking for the place for dinner you were actually there , right in front of that restaurant .then you went into wrong direction. After watching your whole video , i realised that people were not able to understand you properly because of the language barrier. But yeah they never tried to tell you a wrong direction. These please are actually food street but its was too late and mostly after like 8:30 you wont be able to find any sellers out there. Its good to know you really liked the hospitality by kashmir people. Thank you sharing your experience with your subscribers.

As an Indian we want that the world should look Kashmir with their own eyes and whatever the misinformation is spread in the name of Kashmir should be falsified. Kashmir after lot's of struggle is finding it's place in the world and thanks to the Indian government, Indian army and resilient people of Kashmir to come back strong.

Thanks for visiting kashmir. I hope you enjoyed and seems you were roaming around for food in lal chowk. The main factor is the language barrier in kashmir mostly people understand kashmiri language(mother tongue) and few urdu.Food shops in lal chowk get closed early around 6 PM. There are few restaraunts which are open in night and can serve you veg. You didnt have proper guidence thats why you had to cross the same bridge twice. I hope next time you visit kashmir you have proper guide. Thanks ❤
