Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The 246 mi long Steelhead Adventure Trail is set in far Northern California in the 305,000 acre Smith River National Recreation Area (Six Rivers National Forest). I visited the Smith River area many years ago, camped at Grassy Flats , enjoyed great fishing.I did a solo kayaking trip down past Jededhiah Redwood national park, which i also visited .I did a good hike to the Devil's punch lake ,saw the most unique large Salamander s with their gills on outside, in the lake's outflow creek .l visited another unique sanctuary for the carnivores Pitcher plants , growing in a Bog nearby .It was one of my best Summer vacations. Thanks for bringing up those wonderful memories.Your informative and Scenic video has definitely motivated me to visit that area .

Just wanted to say I’ve grown up here in Del Norte and enjoy all these roads and you did a great job showing them. Almost every summer I’m up going through most these routs and love it. Just started subscribing to the channel, hope to see more good stuff coming.

We've been getting hit up by a lot of folks on motos and adventure bikes, all of our future routes will be including data points and recommended bike going forward. Will slowly add that information to the existing catalog of tracks as well.

Another nice loop out that way is out through Bald Hills drive through Redwood NP then drive down to Hoopa, and you can take one of the dirt roads back over the hill towards Blue Lake. Not sure if it's open with the Six River Fire Complex that's active in the area at the moment though. You can see part of this route in our overlanding the redwood coast video.

Thank you for this awesome video. I would love to pick your brain on your rig (LX 570) I have an opportunity right now to buy a used 2010 LX and was wondering what the reliability has been like for you. I plan to tow with it and do our off road trips with it as well. What do you think? The one I am looking into has 110K miles

I upgraded to a Ram 3500 for the sake of more space. The LX is an absolutely fantastic platform in terms of reliability and durability. The only knock is the horrible MPGs.. but that's expected with a petrol land cruiser.

Visit our website at overlandtrailguides.com for more detailed information about all of our routes, including this one. Unfortunately, the Smith River complex has been burning up that way for the last several weeks, so most of the route is currently in accessible.
