Every reissue is necessary as there are always fans just dicovering a line. People should never be restricted to the secondary market for things.

Agree with this couldn't even get the turtles first time around and now I still only have half the only thing this is bad for is scalpers and resellers and screw them

When i went hunting for the ultimate turtle figures i ran across this one by chance and i had to get it! i also missed out on this 2 pack years ago and im so glad they brought these back!

I noticed they finally painted the pins in Rocksteady’s pants! Also, Bebop has ridiculously awesome articulation. Believe it or not, he’s probably one of NECA’s best articulated of the TMNT cartoon line.

Great review. Appreciate you so much. I picked these up also even though I had the originals. They of course being kinda the same figure were close to $10 more then before. Inflection of course of items. Also the box artwork in the front of Bebop and Rocksteady are completely different as is the lettering on top. The front box art is also updated away from that faux-retro style. The hips and paint sell this for me. I hate cel-shading on physical objects. That's just a personal preference and everyone can like whatever they want, but coming from a game design/animation background, this has never made sense to me. I wish they could have updated articulation a little better, and maybe to the CG / injection moulding procedures like the newer figures rather than the clay sculpts of the early line. BUT, they did more than they HAD to and I'm happy with it. Thanks for the vid.

As someone that just got into this within the last year, I'm very grateful about the chance to pick up the four Turtles, as well as Rocksteady and Bepop. However, in the UK, they were up on the Haulathon site for all of 10 minutes and I missed that, so fingers crossed that's not my chance gone.

Picked these up yesterday when I saw one set eas buried in a pile of the Robot versions. I somehow missed it, but it appears everyone else did also. Ig difference when you see it in person! The coloration update is awesome.

The biggest change other than the hips is the fact that rocksteady's neck is no longer casted in yellow plastic and painted Gray

I think these are a definite improvement, but I wish they had released new Bebop and Rocksteady sculpts that were more show-accurate in size (like the superhero ones).

the new single pack brothers are not cell shaded either i dont believe

The new ones kinda seem like style guide Bebop and Rocksteady bright and colorful like the promotional material where as the show in reality was darker than we all remember

It's bullshit to have to spend another $120 to get an essential Rocksteady accessory. That's literally the only thing from that set of junk I'd have any use for at all.

I got them today during the Haulathon event, and this will be my third set of Bebop and Rocksteady. The first set was the 2012 updated logo, the second set was the OG logo, and this set is the updated box set. I'm still trying to figure out what else!

Man, I think the new versions look way better... I have the original pack but with this comparison, I like the new colors better. 😃☕️👍💡

Are the ankle joints more durable than the older release of them ? Cause my old release ankle broke easily. Kind of hesitant unless they are improved and stronger

I bought the new pack and was upset rocksteady did not have his trade mark hat. Glad i watched your vid to discover the old one did have a hat so there's hope to remedy my problem. Shame on NECA!

They do have head articulation so I’m assuming you have the strength of a toddler if you couldn’t get any out of the head.

if NECA was smart they would keep releasing old figures. Sick of never being able to buy figurers unless i spend hundreds of dollars for a toy .

Its good they do reissues. If you miss out on the originals, then it becomes expensive in the after market.

Because if you sneeze in the general direction of the older releases they fall apart. These are updated materials (I think), joints, and paint.

It's because we drive the market.....everyone buying 3 of everything...this is the same but different.....honestly, it's obnoxious. Just put enough out and stop dangling these carrots. People STILL DONT FIND THESE ON SHELVES. Everyone making toy videos getting things that most of us can't get without ebay. I know you guys depend on views, subscribers, and likes, but the companies putting these product's out are ridiculous.
