In men, hair often begins to recede from the forehead.
Male-pattern baldness
Women tend to lose hair along the part.
Female-pattern baldness
Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata) is sometimes preceded by itchy or painful scalp.

Repeated stress on the hair can cause a type of hair loss called traction alopecia.
Traction alopecia
t's becoming increasingly common for menopausal women to experience frontal fibrosing alopecia, in which the hairline moves back.
Frontal fibrosing alopecia
Hair loss can appear in many different ways, depending on what's causing it. It can come on suddenly or gradually and affect just your scalp or your whole body.
Signs and symptoms of hair loss may include:
Gradual thinning on top of head. This is the most common type of hair loss, affecting people as they age. In men, hair often begins to recede at the hairline on the forehead. Women typically have a broadening of the part in their hair. An increasingly common hair loss pattern in older women is a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia).
Circular or patchy bald spots. Some people lose hair in circular or patchy bald spots on the scalp, beard or eyebrows. Your skin may become itchy or painful before the hair falls out.
Sudden loosening of hair. A physical or emotional shock can cause hair to loosen. Handfuls of hair may come out when combing or washing your hair or even after gentle tugging. This type of hair loss usually causes overall hair thinning but is temporary.
Full-body hair loss. Some conditions and medical treatments, such as chemotherapy for cancer, can result in the loss of hair all over your body. The hair usually grows back.
Patches of scaling that spread over the scalp. This is a sign of ringworm. It may be accompanied by broken hair, redness, swelling and, at times, oozing.
When to see a doctor
See your doctor if you are distressed by persistent hair loss in you or your child and want to pursue treatment. For women who are experiencing a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia), talk with your doctor about early treatment to avoid significant permanent baldness.
Also talk to your doctor if you notice sudden or patchy hair loss or more than usual hair loss when combing or washing your or your child's hair. Sudden hair loss can signal an underlying medical condition that requires treatment.
People typically lose 50 to 100 hairs a day. This usually isn't noticeable because new hair is growing in at the same time. Hair loss occurs when new hair doesn't replace the hair that has fallen out.

Hey! As someone who has put down some money for a hair system in July (their supplier has back orders so there’s a bit of a wait) what would you recommend I do to try and keep costs low? Not trying to be frugal or anything, just don’t want to spend more than necessary. That and I’m really excited, but weirdly worried as well haha
I think the longer hair/density looks great!

Lookin good dude! I got the Crius as well and it's probably my favorite system so far. I did have to take quite a bit out with thinning shears but otherwise, super easy to use/maintain. Tape holds it like a champ and even exposed hairline looks pretty good. Would recommend this one to a new user.

Do you know how thick the poly is at the hairline? 0.08mm, 0.05mm?

@@joshuamorton1701 Lavivid told me it is .05mm which looks accurate to me compared to my UTS unit

As long as it settles down and thins out a bit - it will prob look great . right now its too early . i know its new , but right now the volume is way way too much . this is by far the biggest mistake guys make when getting a hair system . to dense or to straight of a hair line. your color looks good - the blend looks good - the volume , not so much . we have to honest here - otherwise it would be doing you a dis service. i see a lot of comments saying things like " man best look ever " or " looking great " ect . this is great to see , but i think some of them are just being kind. Without it being thinned down im sorry to say- its an easy detection of a hair piece . Some hair systems will thin out with in a couple weeks , but most continue to look far to bulky for far to long . As always , thx for the vid and good luck to you sir . Sorry to come off a bit harsh. Just keeping it real .

Looks great Jake. I think the longer hair looks really good. I did the same thing and was able to pull of a longer hairstyle. I've since gone to a little bit shorter but it was nice knowing that I was able to pull it off. Just a little advice; once my sides and back started getting longer, I could see the natural sheen from my hair so I had to shampoo my natural hair a bit more often because you could see the difference between the hair system and my natural hair's oils. I also used dry spray shampoo to take away some of the natural sheen in my bio hair to blend it better with my hair system on days where I didn't feel like shampooing. I don't know if you'll have the same issues but my natural hair gets fairly oily if I don't do something about it.

I like it a lot... looks really good! You look more boyish in a good way. I think you look better with your hair on your forehead v. back. Regarding your tape not sticking, I'm certain it was from not washing the system. I was told a long time ago to wash it thoroughly before installing it. Thanks... great job!

Yes very cool indeed. I walk the same line but yet only yet for three months. At first when I started I was afraid a bit. Then I noticed that *no one* ever could tell. So....just right now on Monday I will have even longer hair. Just like you. Forgot to mention: The guys love it. Cool🌞❄

On itself the hair system looks good. But with the natural textures of your face , your beard and your age I don’t think it’s ideal. I prefer the older system. But whatever makes you happy.

Freeze Frame at 2:46 There is a very noticeable difference in the undercut on your left side .. you're right side at the back looks good. (Left Back Side).... You need to reduce the volume on the piece to match your Bio there on that side . A month into your growth ,you're going to need some color matching dye . Sorry man ... My opinion, you have not yet reached your goal of perfection.

This Vid shows he almost did it .. a good eye at Lavivid would agree with me .. but there again .. Lavivid may disagree with me simply because they want to sell their units. @tony tiger You Shut the Fuck up and learn to how to write English. @ Jake .. you ask the question "Is This My Best Style Yet? " Yes it is .. I blame the hair dresser for not getting the Balance right at the back. You will agree.. The colour does not match and the volume is too thick
