I truly enjoy your input and started watching your videos early this year. I am in my early 70s and a retired environmental consultant. I got bored so started published coloring books on Amazon kdp in 2024. I have improved but the competition is fierce, lol. My names is Vivian Kasey. I don't really get the BSR tool you briefly showed. I have a book with a BSR of 221,786, and it says I should sell about 22 books per month. I sell maybe 1 or 2 books per month of that particular coloring book. Maybe my numbers are going to magically take a quick uptick, but I would be VERY surprised. Are these sales estimators realistic or actually helpful???

You can't make money from books selling for 6 bucks or so... You lose 1-2 bucks per sold book and more if you're doing colored books. This only works if you have something big in the background... my books with 100 pages cost around 9$ and I make close to $2 per unit. Let me know, do I miss anything?

Hey @reneholz66 - what else are you doing to make sure people find your books? ▼ Where are you doing your marketing? ▼ Are you using Amazon A+ Modules to showcase the books, and add extra juicy words/text to each book's Amazon page? ▼ Are you getting Reviews of your books? ▼ Are you upselling to an upgrade or course etc?

@@ChristianAttridge upsells, like a membership or shop to sell additional stuff. I create and sell coloring pages and in my books I mention that
