Sounds great actually. Seems a bit easier on the low end and tighter/brighter than tokai. For the money its hard to beat and its a great modding platform.

I've played a lot of cheaper guitars in my years 78-onwards. One of my fav cheap guitars was an Austin brand LP. (used it to record my theme song on my channel) but it's hard to go back to cheap guitars after owning real Gibson LP's (ESP's are pretty darn good). The thing is I have to play it before I buy it, and I've never bought something I haven't played. I played a lot of Gibson LP's before picking the one I liked. Same with cheap ones as well, I have to play it first no brand has ever had 100% consistent workmanship and materials.

I have one of the Jet Strats. The neck is roasted maple and it’s amazing for the money. The electronics leave a little to be desired, but the single coil pickups actually sound quite chimey and overall it’s a good value guitar and a nice modding platform.

It probably doesnt feel like a vintage Gibson or Murphy Labs but its obviously playable and usable. Honestly though i expect something nice at $500, higher quality than Firefly or HB for sure.

Think you are been a little tough on the Jet mate. It’s very good for the money and a perfect modding guitar. It Looks good. Playability is good. Sounds decent. A good set of humbuckers and some locking tuners and it’s ready to Rock 🤘

Sounds really good out of the box tbh.Im a tele playing beginner and fancy a LP for a change of tone ,the lighter the better. My JT 350 (t style with neck humbucker)feels more expensive than my £900 Fender.that cost 3x the price so I'm a big Jet fan .A Tokai would be nice of course but for the money I think Jet is up my alley .ps how much do they actually weigh ?
