k24 swapped mine, I've owned my 8th gen for 5 years. It's super clean, reliable, smooth at top speeds, great long distance car. And I can literally drive this all year long while my SRT-4 parks in for harsh summer days in AZ. These platforms are going to be a serious $$ someday due to rarity and quality.

Absolutely! You can just feel how the quality has improved and just how special the car feels when you’re driving it! A true gem even completely stock! Having that k24 torque would be crazy!

Also, both k24 and k20 engines when put under heavy load often does cause oil consumption. Completely normal. Very very lightly, and it's pretty reasonable. Just top it off every 1,000 miles or so. If you are HARD on your car, expect that. Even race cars are like this, engine physics. (MY srt-4 is the same way, every kseries and bseries ive owned. Ive owned other car manufactures which are similar)

28:10 Btw Honda doesn't care if you bang gears or not. Rev hang is just the ECU trying to achieve better emissions by delaying the throttle plate closing to burn any remaining fuel. Unfortunately rev hang makes it harder to shift smoothly and quickly at the same time.

Honestly hard to say sadly but can try some things to make it less appealing to steal like. Not leaving items in the car for them to see. Maybe getting a club or removable steering wheel. And get a loud exhaust so if it starts in the night you know it's yours 😂
