PMMA (Acrylic) gets porous when exposed to chemicals, chocs, marks... how does it makes sense to have this on a tattoo machine ?

I switched to bishop v2 battery for my og wands cause both my critical batteries the shorty and the bigger one both stopped working already.i loved how they ran but for lasting they need work for sure.

I feel like nowadays brands are more focus on "pretty" settings on lcd than in really where it matters, for example, exchangeable stroke cams, motor configurations as torque for example and a decent give (not the shitty one from FKIrons) and of course how clenable the machine really is. Pleople loves large LCDs with a lot of colorfull lights, but what really matters is how good and versatile the machine really is. At the end this is just another very expensive machine with a large lcd which the only advantage is battery life where Critica excels.

Jeno i just got my 4.2 ne apprenticeship what the recomanded votage for lining, shading, ect...

It would be awesome if we could change cam strokes maybe critical will let us know I ordered mine yesterday I got the 4.2 but kinda wish we had a option to buy a 3.5 cam to switch it out

That’s some engineering nightmare - I remember the hyper V2 had the option to turn a wheel to change the stroke, but that thing was real complicated - a ton of bits that worried me if ever It went wrong. Moving from coil to my first rotary the thing looked like a jet engine compared to a paper aeroplane

The timer ability is really interesting. I'm curious how many of you are billing as precisely as that? I would find it really strange to bill a customer in minutes... don't most people just generalize for example starting at 12:05 then ending at 17:17 as five hours? I can't see ever using a timer at all.

i set a timer and stop it if we take breaks. at the end i just round to the nearest 15 minute interval.

@@panpier1982 only thing I’ve seen such a miracle is the cheyenne sol nova. Would be super surprised to see this new-comer to the machine world pull it off but I’ll know when my critical torque arrives. Hoping so with baited breath.

Honestly - I’m a big fan of the critical power supply products but this seems a little over engineered. Also the fact that they’ve kept the charging dock is kinda out dated - it makes the carting case unnecessarily huge. Would have liked to see straight up USBC charging. But that screen is lush - bet it can run DOOM!

can you access and open the cam to clean it?

removing the grip gives you access to the tip of the plunger bar for lubrication (Krytox included in the kit), but you cannot access the cam set/interior of the housing

Personally, it seems like overkill... There are too many techy options. and using A foot petal is outdated. I'll stick with Cheyene Hawk.. So simple and streamline. The last thing I need is another screen to look at. and tamper with while I am tattooing.

Hi Jono… I do PMU trouble implanting eyeliner. My Coil machine user colleague says she gets it in because she has a strong machine. It’s been suggested that I buy a bishop v 6 rotary for good implantation. It’s light and that’s good for my small hands. Any comment would be appreciated prior to buying another machine .. I don’t want to waste more money 😜

@@helengodlonton3745 To be honest I've never done Spmu. As far as I'm aware you'd be looking for a lightweight machine which has a medium to strong hit. Also quality needles play a big part in this.
