What glitch? NBA 3-point line is nearly 24 feet from the hoop. You try to "lay it up" launching from that distance. Just before you touch the ground, you'll have forward and downward momentum, and try to throw the ball up 20 feet from the loop, and that's without defense.

Ofc it is a 3 point layup. I did it once at a college tournament, we were losing by 3, i had the ball three seconds left, I run fast like the wind.. I jumped from the 3 point line, released the ball and it got in, counted for three and I won a foul as well, and-1 on dead time!!! We won the tournament!! The crowd was onto their feet, shouting, the chiqs were screaming horny, people invaded the court running like headless chickens,I was in such an ecstasy, another dimension till suddenly we all heard a strange noise... Beep, beep, beep... Was my alarm clock and had to go to work.

Dexton Crutchfield I don’t really understand why people are saying it’s not Dwayne wade did a similar 3 point shot but he jumped before he crossed the 3 point line and let the ball go inside for a 2 point shot but still counted as a 3. It’s basically the same thing as this guys doing expect he’s underhanding the ball not overhanding but still generally the same thing

Yeah exactly it is a three point layup because the rules say you have to jump from beyond the line and you can land inside the three point line as long as you shoot the ball in mid air which is what he did so thats why it counts as a three point layup. a two point layup would be when you take off inside the three point line which is what most layups are but this layup was an example of a three pint layup you are totally right that was a three point layup you can clearly see from the video that it was three points.

@@SkateHuddy It would be a charge as long as the defender's feet are set. Plenty of charges are drawn from near the perimeter as it is. But my point is that if a lanky fucker like Giannis or KD were to actually start scoring 3 point layups, then drawing a charge would be an effective way to stop it since they'd have to leap forward such a long distance.

It's a 3...in high school, which last I knew had the 3 pt line right at the top of the key. Gonna have to jump further for the college 3 pt layup, and further still for the pro.
