I agree, I think the Sephora one does look much better. Typically I forget to even use one. My time out and about is usually short so I don't have worries of it needing to last forever. The joys of getting older and I mean that in a good way. I like being home more now.

I used the Sephora spray last year, and loved it 🥰. I'm not a Tilbury fan at all, so thanks for highlighting an affordable dupe ✌🏾

the ct setting spray doesnt work on my oily skin- breaks through...finally someone that is honest about it

Awesome video. I will definitely put the Sephora setting spray on my list to try. My current long wear favorite is still the Essence 16hr long wear matte setting spray. It holds up in heat, humidity, sweat, and my dry, more mature skin never looks dry. I’d say it’s almost a satin finish instead of a true matte.

charlotte Tilbury is fantastic its amazing and it does what it says ! i work as a nurse in a I TU and my makeup needs to last and my goodness it does !

I finally bought the bite size ELF palettes you recommended. They're both living up to your hype 😄 Thank you because I don't think I would have tried them otherwise.

I’m so glad that finally we have a newly opened Sephora here in London UK , can’t wait to try this setting spray, all the ingredients in this one are skincare except the alcohol dent but that’s to be expected. I have the Charlotte Tilbury but the perfume keeps getting in my eyes 🤯

I am so glad it has no scent. I am allergic to a lot of things and am so scared of putting anything on my face with perfume in it. I am definitely going to try it.

Love this! I would love to see your thoughts on the elf one, the one in the green bottle, it’s called stay all night or something, against the CT one. I personally feel it’s better! Or even against the UD all nighter. I personally think it’s an excellent setting spray and definitely a dupe or affordable alternative.

Oily skin is a problem I don't have. I am more dry to the bone! But for the oily skin viewers maybe at the end of the day wear, blot each side separately so they can gauge the results? Just a thought and thanks for an informative video!😃

Same, I am super dry. I have been putting on the setting spray on and skipping powder, no powder on the foundation, and this has been helping to keep a glowy look.

I only have a few things from the Sephora brand and I love it all. They make the perfect shade in foundation for me. Also their brand is even better when they do 30% off. I think they really improved their products over last few years. I always enjoy a good setting spray. I’ll have to check this out! I don’t mind when products have a natural scent. That’s fine. Some ingredients may have a scent but added perfumes isn’t necessary. Just come out w a body mist or something and leave it out of cosmetics.

A replenishing, nourishing setting spray that hydrates, sets and preps skin for flawless makeup application. Will leave your skin with a healthy looking finish. It has a micro fine mist. It doesn’t make me look too shiny. It feels really nice when I spray it.

Hi Zabrena thanks for the review I been using the Too Face "Makeup Insurance", and every time I used it like 5 minutes later it makes my face like a hard veil feelling effect and very dry powder looking, and this video made buy the Sephora one, and guess what i looooooove it🥰, it keeps my makeup in place, my face looks radiant, thanks again for the review......I also used the MAC prep+prime spray, and the sephora still wins over.....

The CT is $38 for 3.3 oz, not 1 oz. Sephora one is still cheaper though :)

I was thinking the other day of all the things I use that are scented, and it's nuts! Shampoo & conditioner, body wash, shaving oil, body lotion (I use unscented for my face), hair oil, hair gel, hair spray, lip balm, and all that is not counting makeup, which... even my mascara is scented. I know I have scented eyeshadow, lipstick, setting spray, deodorant. There's probably more I'm forgetting but I almost never wear perfume anymore. I'm already thoroughly scented lol. However I do use the CT setting spray. I have dry skin & so far this is the only one I've found that keeps everything in place and doesn't dry me out too much.

I tried on my face the hollywood flawless filter next to the elf version, well … the CT justified the price 200%

I am very very oily greaseball and I have used CT, milani, skindinavia, Elf, flower beauty etc etc.. None of them holds my oil and keeps it sweatproof as good as One Size ontildawn.. ❤️

I have that issue with the Milani setting spray. Tried it. Could still smell it 8 hours later. Best ever for my oily skin is Gerard Cosmetics Slay All Day. Keeps makeup in place for 10+ hours.

I want to try the sephora setting spray. I like setting sprays that leave a dewey finish and don't have a strong scent.

I personally wouldn't call it a dupe or alternative, bcuz it preformed 100X better than the high end

I was using the benefit super setter but found it didn’t hold my makeup in place my entire shift (10hr plus commute 11-12hr depending on traffic). It would let me down around my nose, chin and around my glasses. I do have dry-combination skin. I have just switched to the Charlotte Tilbury which I have been very happy with. My make up last through my shift into the evening when I remove my makeup. Nose, chin and around my glasses has stayed put. My skin feels good not tight or greasy- very happy with the Charlotte Tilbury one so far 👍.

Thank you for this. I can't afford the CT one but thought maybe I could find on on sale. But then I heard it is heavily fragranced which leaves me out.

Sephora products will even go on sale for 30% off. Maybe just around holiday time, not sure. I also use Rakuten when ordering from Sephora and such. I do enjoy the lil samples as well.

So I have an opposite circumstance. I have been applying setting spray instead of powder, to set (the most dewy) of foundations on my VERY DRY skin. This is something fairly new for me. So no powder, using setting spray in full to set and try to keep the layers from sliding off my face, not just to change the finish.

I hate Lume ads! I don’t care how well it works, most of those ads are disgusting.

For years I purchased high end cosmetics. After many years I was at the cosmetics counter in a high end dept. store Purchasing a very small very expensive foundation. A light bulb went off and I told myself that there must be a less expensive alternative. From that day forward I’ve never purchased high end cosmetics. again. I’ve had some misses here or there with drug store brands but in the last ten years I feel things have greatly improved. I can honestly say that I’ve saved thousands of dollars by making the change.

Just be aware the Sephora brand pump easily breaks after a few uses so just be prepared to put it in another bottle.

You have such dreamy eyes. You look like a real life Disney princess or something.

I was thinking the same thing.

I completely agree with the putting scent in products unnecessarily I've never found a product with a scent I find pleasant, on a different subject why does wet cat food contain vegetables like "Turkey in gravy with peas" cats are obligate carnivores they evolved that way and cannot digest or get anything from vegetables, I do not but cat food I buy my cats raw meat and they love it their longevity is effected and they live past the average life expectancy. Keep unnecessary additives out of everything.

I totally agree with the cats eating vegetables comment. But! My cat is so weird! He loves grapes, I literally can’t keep them on my counter or he’ll get in them and eat them! 😮 If I’m chopping broccoli he wants the stalks of them 😮 and he always wants to eat potato skins if I’m peeling them. He also will NOT eat or lick a tuna can if I try and let him lick the can when I’m done. He won’t eat any meat if I try and give him some. What a weird cat 😂

Omg I've never sprayed that much setting spray on my face I never really find that they work to great maybe that's why but I never want to soak my face cuz im someone with very dry skin and idk if this is why or I touch my face without realizing but I always feel no matter what I wear it's gets patchy after 5 hours or is drying or too moisturizing. I never win with or w/o a setting spray.

Seems like a good alternative, but not a dupe since they have different smells, Sprays, and looks on the skin.

I have dry skin so it would have been nice to hear the ingredients on the sephora setting spray. I have an expensive setting spray that has alcohol in it and cannot use it unfortunately.

I have dry skin too & can't use powder. The CT setting spray is the only high-end thing I still buy. Totally worth it for me, but of course everyone is different. :)

Looking at both sides at the end, the Sephora side looks more natural while the Tilbury looks like it’s been encased in plastic, hard and shiny, very unnatural.

One very important thing to note is "alcohol". I wouldn't necessarily call this a dupe because the alcohol content is really going to determine how well a setting spray works. The Sephora has denatured alcohol and it is its SECOND ingredient so obviously it is going to last longer that the CT which has phenetyl alcohol listed as its LAST ingredient. So if you have sensitive skin or want to avoid alcohol because you have dry skin then you want to get the CT.

Seriously, I don't understand, one product & so many dupes. One is better than the other, so which one is the best ? Last week some other settings spray was the best, before that different one ....and then again something else 😉

The perfume in the CT one is not that heavy 😅 and I think you applied way too much!!

The tilbury 1 oz isn’t $38 that’s the mini the 3.3 oz is $38 and now they have a 6.6 oz for 51

It’s much wetter than a lot of setting sprays.

To me the Sephora side showed more of your freckles on your upper cheek just under the eye. I didn’t even notice you had freckles so to me that means your makeup moved on Sephora side
