These are not meant to be the only battery in the vehicle. They are designed to give the dead/weak battery a boost and assist it starting your vehicle.

@@imgettingold9407 the batteries were disconnected. The booster jump starter was designed to boost a connected weak battery...

I have the exact same one and it tripped out trying to start a single cylinder 19hp lawn tractor. It will charge up a low battery but when cranked it will trip out under load. Yes it was fully charged, also doesn't like the cold. I would NOT purchase another as mine is fairly worthless.
Most of the newer units I've seen like that have a dedicated button on the plug that goes into the brick, that you have to push to get into "boost" mode, which I guess spits out more power. It's the only thing that will charge my frequently dead Ford Transit Connect (in which I have a phantom draw that I can't find). Does this unit have a button like that anywhere? I could only see the one button in the video. Great video, BTW.

Thabsk craig unless I totally missed it I didn’t see one I’ll give it another look around tommorow in the shop. The instructions left little to be desired lol

Even if it did have one... the connected green light came on. This meana that the battery was not that dead and did not need the extra boost. This cat device is just poor. I have seen all the other brands wrk without the green light with the boost. My audew has worked many times with dead batteries with no reading
Does this work if the battery is 100% dead?
