We all fall short of the glory of God , awards , money our talent does not keep or sustain us ! Only having that intimate relationship with Jesus will keep us ! Because just because we SAY we are Christian doesn’t mean we have intimacy with the Lord . Praise God for His grace and restoration in our lives ‼️🙏🏽

I am an old lady, and have been here a long time. Michael English is absolutely the best singer I have ever heard. Is there any wonder than the enemy would try to stop his witness (in song) for Christ. I am very proud of Michael for not taking the trip that satan had planned for him. Keep singing the gospel with that wonderful voice.

Steve Rollins Why not? That's xtian standard operational procedure. Break their commandments, claim the devil made them do it, ask Jesus for forgiveness, repeat process.

  • @UpandiTembo

Dougibert It is not God's way. It might be man's. God is who you can turn to for forgiveness, but it is not free, it was bought at an unimaginable cost- the innocent blood of His son, Jesus. Hence God demands in return for forgiveness is first- acknowledgement of our sin, that we committed by choosing to not obey His laws. Secondly, God requires us to turn away from the sin we chose to commit and to "crucify the flesh" and walk in accordance with His Law. There is grace, thankfully for all whom are so far from what we should be as "Christians" and we are blessed with the ability to take our imperfection to God for renewed grace. HOWEVER, God will not accept- the devil made me do it. He will not accept no change in your behavior or lifestyle that has taken you from His Grace. You will be held to account on the day of judgment when we all bow down and cry Holy for each and every act we have committed and asked for forgiveness without the intent to remove that sinful way from our path. You cannot be in Christ and claim immunity because of the devil- the devil sure gets a lot of blame for free will! Until true repentance is asked for- none is given. One of my favorite Pastor's is John Hagee- He said-" you can be baptized in the blood of forgiveness but unless you are confessing, accepting responsibility, and actively CHOOSING to walk on the path God has designed for you- you will go under the water a dry sinner and come up out of the water a wet one." Not exact quote but close as I remember it- very convicting and true of most "Christians" today. FYI, Jesus and God never called us Christians or xtians as you so decided to shorten it, He called us Saints. He expects more than the devil made me do it and until you are willing to accept that the devil didn't make you do anything, you chose to, you cannot be saved or forgiven.

Are you serious? I do not believe he ever "planned" to commit adultery. I have been on the road doing mostly country, though this was over 20 years ago. I have seen so much sin in this world. Mr Rollins, God is a forgiving God and also a God with high standards, but he created us and loves us, and he asks that we come to him for whatever the situation; Michael did just that - eventually. Just look at the lives Michael's music has touched since. There is absolutely no question God's hand is on his life and his talent. Never make fun of the fallen; you may be there someday. Besides, he is no longer "fallen." He will answer, as will you and I, for any sin he committed after being saved by God's grace and his son's blood.

God will forgive us for anything but one thing! I'm a recovering alcoholic, Crack addict, adultress, chasing a feeling to cover my pain and today I am forgiving, God helps me every day and I sure don't deserve it. people in my family and even in my church judge me talk about me like a dog, and it is so alright, God's opinion of me is all I need. I don't care what folks say just don't put your hands on me. I can't believe how ignorant folks are, call themselves Christians (WOW) IF THAT IS WHAT CHRISTIAN PEOPLE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE I DON'T WANT NO PART OF IT" HE KNOWS MY NAME YALL!!!!"

Nancy i have so much respect for what you say. you are open and vulnerable and let the whole world look into your life and in your heart. it really gave me goosebumps when I read your answer this hit me right in the heart. In my family I have many people with the same problems, of which they don't want to stop under any promise. the temptation is too great and we have done everything in terms of care and food and so on, but as soon as we turn around they just continue. I was once in the mall asked by my niece for money for food she said but I refused and said if you need food I go with you and pay for you, but you do not get a cent in my hands because I know it will go wrong. and then she ran away and was angry. the only thing we can do in these situations is to pray. because we cannot change these people, only God can. But it hurts me so much that she doesn't want anything else. Because nowadays with addiction or financial or relationship problems you name it, I think that it is not far off how bad and deep and difficult a situation can be nowadays there is quite a lot of help on the above problems. But then someone must want to and as we call it here, turn the button and go for it with the necessary help. and dear Ms. if you do not agree with me then please say so because I am also someone who can react rather fiercely and if this is the case then I am willing to change my words. I learned in my marriage to have to say sorry to my husband if I make mistakes. and I also learned to have to learn to say sorry to my 3 wonderful 3 lovely caring sons. which was very difficult for me because of my character. but thanks to my dear husband and my wonderful heavenly father God anything is possible, Michael has designed a necklace with text that says "Give God the best of what you have and He will bless it". and I have experienced that in my personal life. And I am thankful to God that He touched me and received His love in my life and my relationship with God has become so much deeper and stronger and I thank Him everyday with my heart for this amazing grace. God bless you sis😘

"Study to show thyself approved". When you don't know what "Judge not" verses are intended for, it's past time to be STUDYING and LEARNING God's word.. 90% of people say they are Christian, but cannot recite a verse IN context... and all that is called RIGHTEOUS Judgement.. as Jesus commands.. If your gut tells you, When the spirit is talking to you. The best thing to do is to confront that spirit and ask the hard question. What you do after that is thru prayer. Personally I kick him out on his shirt tail and let him figure it out between him-his lust and how he "decides" if the Lord is his life or not.

It's not critical at all, considering the Bible has David's, Samson's, apostle Peter & Paul's flaws etc. written although God has forgiven. It's there for a reason to give hope for the sinner. Besides the title is appropriate to capture people's attention just as Psalms 51 is David's private prayer pleading forgiveness made public to give hope.

That's not coincidence that you have a Purpose a God given Purpose that inspired other Christians. Remember the words of your song says:' My source strength is Christ alone.'. We all have sinned. We all have failed God but those failures can also turn into out greatest testimonies. Having heard you story I'm still inspired by you. Don't lose Faith. Your ministry reached far and wide. My brother and I used to listen you. Our Youth did outreach every weekend and musical productions even 30 years later inspired by singers like you. We our currently in week 3 og Lockdown in SA due to Covid19 and I was feeling very stressed trying to work from home in a highly pressurized job and juggling home schooling my 3 kids and my elderly mom. It does start to seem disingenuous the more it goes on. I just wondered what happened with her life after. I hope she & her husband (who seemed, from Michael's book, to be an incredibly decent man who really loved his wife & was willing to forgive her) were able to repair their marriage. Michael's marriage was already irretrievably broken, but fear of judgement by the christian community kept them from divorcing. No excuse; just the way things were.
