I can't believe I am just watching this for the first time. I love when Michael and Mark are together. I can see that genuine love for each other and their love for our Lord. I miss Michael singing, though I think I have watched every KZread video of him from the beginning. That wonderful powerful voice God has used all these years. And Mark, I first heard you at a little church in the country hills of Virginia, Southside Baptist. I have your first cassette tape. I about wore it out listening to it. I am so glad I came across this taping. It is awesome. It's nice hearing you two sing anytime but here, without all the glitz, perfect clothes and makeup, huge audience, and all the rest, this was totally worship with just your voices and a couple musicians. It was a nice worship time for me, here 5 years later. Love you guys. Keep singing for our Lord!

I’m as a big of a Michael English fan as there is, and he is being way too modest. I listened to GVB going back the 1981 or 82...When Steve Green was with them, through Larnelle in mid 80s, but the group hit a whole different level when Michael joined. Funny story is, I was in a Bible College, and had been planning to use Daystar for our class song but the class ahead of us knew it, and took it for themselves...The nerve! But fortunately, Beyond The Open Door was released the next year, and we used it for our class song. It was meant to be. Thanks!

This is FANTASTIC! I met Michael in the 90s and he was an absolute love. He held my disabled son, who was quite wet at the time. He just shrugged off the wetness and talked to him, prayed for him and made us all feel at ease. My daughter gave him a piece of cinnamon chewing gum at the start of his concert because his mouth got too dry. It was a bit too hot for him lol :) Great memories :) I stood behind him throughout the troubles that happened later and still do :) Lovely to see him again. :)

Having grew up with Michael English , the harmonies of the GVB and the comedy of Mark, this was a really awesome episode. I really loved hearing Michael sing Daystar again. Has been on my playlist since it was released on Wings. One of my favorite songs of all time.

Wow! MDYK...a throwback for me. Your dad and I were in your home in Acworth, GA...early 90's...when you whipped out a cassette you wanted us to hear. I remember it like it was yesterday. You were in my face mouthing the words and Michael English was singing this new song that very few had heard and had not yet been recorded. I don't recall if it was a demo or the finished product. It was "Mary Did You Know." Could you or anyone have predicted the impact this song would have over these past 15 or so years? It is iconic, and to this day has the most powerful lyrics I have ever heard in a gospel song. Love you, brother! Kayward

When the "Mary Did You Know?" C.D. first came out, I sent a copy to my brother Lenny,who was stationed overseas at that time.It came with that one BEYOND BEAUTIFUL song and also with the words printed to sing along with.Lenny told me that not only himself,but others were wanting to listen AND hear this song for months,AND asked their own families to go out and buy a copy😊.

Michael English you are great. I hope you have some concerts soon someplace. I, like you, have fallen but have found Christ in my life again just like you! I saw you in Tulsa but see no concerts for you upcoming.

That's hard my husband passed away 12/23/2017 Thankfully he is in heaven with our son. I miss them every day all the time. Thank you Michael and Mark your music fills me with love. Lord Bless
