Is there a difference between the brain and the mind | J. Krishnamurti

Ojai 1981 - Question #2 from Question & Answer Meeting #1
'Is there a difference between the brain and the mind, and if so, what is that relationship?'
This channel is managed by the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust, UK, and by the Krishnamurti Foundation of America.
The role of the foundations was described by Krishnamurti when he said, 'The foundations will see to it that these teachings are kept whole, are not distorted, are not made corrupt. They will not give rise to any sectarian spirit in their activities... nor create any kind of place of worship around the teachings or the person.'
We maintain extensive archives of Krishnamurti's original works and all four Krishnamurti foundations are actively engaged in the publication of material in various forms.
Our videos contain thousands of subtitles in more than 25 languages, translated by volunteers from all over the world. If you would like to help us with translating subtitles, please contact us at digital@kfoundation.org

The mind is the result of the function of the brain though if you change the mental processes it changes the brain as much as changing brain activity it can have an effect on the mind

Jk gave a very deep sutra .. that mind is just a concept created by the brain. And there is no mind apart from brain. Brain creates the thought about mind, higher mind, consciousness etc

Like an arrow in search for the bulls eye. Flying through smoke rings, Breaking through thin layers, bouncing off rubber barriers. Then one day stopping in mid flight , at the very tip of the arrow, like a magnetic pull turning upon it self and splitting it right down the middle...……endless………………………….. If only the last few words were shared of this video it would be enough. I love his way he walks with you

I know he isn’t there to answer ,but still couldn’t stop asking this question, if we have someone who could throw some light. Does a just born kid be with infinite brain as it has minimum amount of conditioning in this instance of birth. I feel we have conditioned ourselves so much and limiting ourselves

I think you are right.....A new born baby with no conditioning has infinite mind. He has no ego. But with his growing years he identify himself with his name and his brain becomes limited......

Obviously, the brain is not infinite because it is physical matter which ultimately dies. Mind and soul are different.

i think he means infinite capacity, not infinite in its form or being.

So, what is the meaning of our ignorance? Why don't we know nothing? Maybe that's the purpose of life.
