Am I the only one who just got a vita......alotta people seem to be buying it and yes ITS SO great now I can't get the menu music outta my head I sometimes hum it to myself!!!!! The vita does great ports!!!!!!! Way better then switch........Sony mark my words will see buyers buying from the vita store and I know they're probably shocked to see it!!!!!!! Come on guys let show Sony we love the vita!!!!!!!! It's worth it I got one back in 2023!!!!!

I did too, PSP emulation is still not great on mid range handhelds and it's pretty much the only way to play Vita games

I grew up on Sony as well I just got another PS4 the slim and I just recently got both resident evil 2 and 3 remake for it I'm giving 3 remake another chance and I'm thoroughly enjoying it I have the originals of two and three on vita I still play them to this day!!!!! I will say both the remakes and originals of two and three are both beautiful to look at but the originals still stand out in a way the vita I got really brings out the graphics so colorful I remember having them on GameCube I didn't really care for 4 remake tho but had to get 3 remake to have next to the original!!!!!! I wish PSP could be on vita or even PS3 I have boughten siren blood curse and the fatal frames I do have them but it sucks to have to pay for ps plus just to play these I refuse it's extra money even for a year that's not needed!!!!! Can't even play tomb raider anniversary on it and I'm a bit disappointed but I did add the remake trilogy for my store!!!!!! I get what your saying tho!!!!!!

@Williank not to be rude...there are people who love emulation like me. Sure its somewhat wrong I mean if you own the physical copy of a game...you should be able to use it in any way you want.

Vita is Life

If your still on the fence about getting a vita,consider that it is incredibly easy to add homebrew and be able to play all of the vita,psp and psx library,add the fact that you can add emulators and be able to play some incredible android games on it and it has a very active community supporting it,I think the answer speaks for itself.

Sorry if I sound like "that guy" honest question... Outside of nostalgia would I be better off getting at Retroid Pocket 4 Pro? Seem like it is a comparable price you get a new/not used product and modding is probably easier. I got a 3ds recently and love it, especially hShop but IDK if Vita is unique enough to hunt down and pay the premium like the DS is.

To be honest, it definitely depends on what you are looking to play,the retroid pocket 4 pro can play up to ps2 and some 3ds and possibly even vita, with some configurations and setups,as to the vita,you would be looking at playing every psp,psx and vita game,with only a little setup,basically you could Play any system up to n64,dreamcast on it as well as alot of android games and homebrew,as to quality and build,I would say the vita would be better.i hope this helps.

@@mpw1986 thank you so much! I did a little research and it does seem like Vita is kind of difficult to play on a non Vita system so It seems like I need to look into the exclusives to see if it's enough of a draw for me.

Still wana mod mine I can't get hold of the SD to Vita but won't use it for emulators i think my phone already handles that well because Android 😅🤞🏿 i think just having Adraneline just for PSP and PS1 and just play Vita Game's.

*Short answer:* Heck to the freaking yeah! *Long answer:* A little over 2 weeks ago, I bought a PS Vita Slim (PCH-2000) from Japan on eBay, and it's been quite the adventure tracking its journey. It started last Wednesday and is set to arrive tomorrow. Despite some rainy showers tomorrow afternoon, I'm super excited to finally get my hands on it and dive into some Vita games. The PS Vita is definitely worth it in 2024 for any gaming enthusiast!

I will say this about psp emulation. It drains the hell outta your battery while playing GBA or SNES games compared to psp games

I don't know which one to get pa vita or Nintendo switch can be modded with PS vita games to which one I should get

Why youtube recomend this video to me idk But vita does not worth if can buy extreamly cheap even a midrange phone have much more game libary and emulators i play ps2/psp/psvita/dreamcast/switch games on my redmi note 10 pro 732g

@justsomejacob are those joystick caps worth getting? Only downside of the vita for me is the small joysticks and wanna try make them better if possible

For me, I like having the joystick caps, because not only do they make the actual surface of it larger. I also have one that can make it concave because that’s what I prefer so I feel like a little bit more grip on the device
