It's a beautiful display, currently1000 dollars cheaper than studio display when you add the options.

Doesn't need to be better. It's good that we can have other options

I got studio display 5k for pc, quality is unreal... I would pay even $3k for it

The only thing I don’t like is the matte display

I wouldn’t recommend it, there are cheaper monitors that have some of the same features for cheaper and some that don’t have certain features but or of even better quality Unless you’re doing it for tax purposes or you have money to throw around disregarding the best possible purchase you can make it’s not for you

60hz frame rate? Ridiculous!

This is a monitor for creatives not gamers. You dont need more than 60hz for photo or video editing.

@@user-oe6bk5uk4x lol, than why every single product from Apple except Studio Display has 120hz support? Maybe because as per Apple it gives users smoother scrolling and improved responsiveness? In few years they will include ProMotion in Studio Display and you will spend another 2k$ to buy it and say that 120hz is optimal for creators

It will of course work with both PC and Mac, but you might only get 4K with a PC because of Windows. You could have your Mac connected via Thunderbolt and your PC using mini displayport.

Sooooo it’s an Apple screen without the computer inside?? Is it cheaper than the Apple 5k screen though? Probably…..

There's a "computer" inside, otherwise it wouldnt be able to have all the smart tv features.

It is the worse than the studio display in every single way, including the screen, colors are better on the studio display. And they are the same price.

@@AaronFigFront do you own it or just judging from reviews? Here in Denmark it's currently 290 dollars cheaper than the studio display. Mac Address did a review a while back and it didn't seem as bad as you make it out to be. I know the build quality is very different, but the option to use it for both a Mac and a PC is quite important for me and simply not possible with the Studio Display without manually switching cables and also getting some very specific cables/adapters to make it work with a PC.

@@AaronFigFront - I wasn’t even going to give it the same category as the ‘Studio display’ - not sure anything else could come close to that! Nah, I was just putting it up against the standard display on the newer models 🤣.

It's cheap rubbish, not in the same zip code as the studio
