I hate how Forza devs refuse to give us drift suspension. Is it too hard to just give the car more steering angle? Drift suspension would make these boring ass EVs a little more useful and not just some random appliances that nobody will drive.

I think Forza got the year wrong for this car. It’s actually supposed to be 2025, not 2023, so this is technically the first 2025 car in the game.

It reminds me of that 1899 car with the fake horse's head stuck on the front.

These range from individual rumble boxes under the hood in the front firewall area or just straight up playing low frequencies over the bass speakers, among other methods.

EU regulations are quietening cars all the time and yes you're correct. Even my M4 irl has this but has been coded out because it sounds awful and obviously so fake. So you can see how it's even worse when an EV does it and even adds fake pops and bangs and fake gears

My buddy got a Version of this car and another car ran into it like 45 to 50 miles an hour and it didn’t to to much to the car was really suspicious it Only totaled the other car out it’s stronger vehicle I would be Terrified of this, running into a crowd of people

Car enthusiasts want a car that feels nice to drive Not something heavier than the local farmers work truck, I do want to see the honda sustaina-C in the game and see what people say about that

I like it. If it were a gdi turbo 4, it would probably be an instant classic. As it is. I think its one of the best looking EV on market, and a pretty good design over all for this specific design language. In the game world, its probably a banging rally-raid but I dont really like it on the street so far... just to heavy even with weight reduction.

Agreed on the look and feel of a car. I think one of the biggest barriers to EV (other than the price tag) is that they always seem designed to look like a toy or something future-ridiculous. Hyundai side stepped that by making the Ionic look more or less like any crossover SUV or big hatchback so the fact that it is an EV isn't so much in your face the whole time.

K1Z bard has a tune that brings it to the top of A-class that’s damn good. It’s 100% competitive in online but a little squirmy

I have driven all the Hyundai N cars except for the i30 and stuff because we don’t have them, and the Ioniq 5 N was the best out of them all

I really love the design of the Ioniq 5 but it being an EV is so boooooring. And the fact that it has fake gears and "engine sounds" makes it even worse. If it had a 4 banger or something like that it would've been so much better. Imagine how sick the Ioniq 5 N would be with the i30 N engine. But noooo, let's make a boring ass EV with fake sounds and gears because this is what car enthusiasts really want.

EVs will never be the enthusiasts choice in the same way that for many a DLSR isn't for photographers (its film cameras) personality > raw stats

In Forza it's just another EV with high horsepower, of course you'll say it's not an EV for car enthusiasts 🙄

I have had it with Turn 10 and their Forza franchise. I got screwed over with Motorsport, and the Horizon games have gotten extremely lazy in my opinion. I will be purchasing a cheap DD set up and moving over to iracing or Assetto Corsa Evo for my racing fix.

you know you can just de-activate the fake gears and the fake sound, I think their take with this, is give so more emotion to people who like cars but at the same time only want an ev, and not really to try to make this for pertol heads

I didn't say EVs are boring commuters. I bet you could have some great fun in a Taycan/RS e-tron. I really like the Honda E and the Audi E tron SUV, Rolls Spectre. I even said IN THE VIDEO, I bet the regular Ioniq 5 is a comfortable spacious family car. This performance car has more than just fake sounds and fake gears. Anyone who has driven it can tell you it ain’t like a performance Tesla or even a Tycan. It’s just fun. That’s the through-line in all the reviews of this car so far. Even the staunch detractors of EVs have said the car drives and feels great and the fake gears/sounds bridge the gap between ICE and EV more than enough to the point where it feels really good to drive. Does it really matter if it’s fake when it is exhilarating to drive? Hell we got piped in fake sounds in a lot of ICE cars nowadays too. It all just comes down to you despising EVs even when some of them are actually great cars like the one in this video.

It literally isn't. The regular Ionic 5 is, not this. This was made to be a car for car enthusiasts that's just a complete joke of a car. I don't mind the regular Ionic 5. Family car, probably a great every day car. But this heap is supposed to be a performance version of that which if they just improved handling and gave it more power then fine whatever (still doesn't belong in FH). But all this fake bs with fake sounds and fake gear changes, fake gear paddles behind the steering wheel. That's what makes me hate this car
