Is the NEW 2023 Nissan Altima a BETTER sedan to BUY than a Toyota Camry?
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
The Altima is getting some BIG changes for 2023 from Nissan. On the outside you will discover 19in wheels, new front fascia and grill. On the inside there are some new materials and a massive 12.3in infotainment screen. Under the hood is a 2.5L inline-4 that produces 188HP. Is the NEW 2023 Nissan Altima a BETTER sedan to BUY than a Toyota Camry?

Thanks for the review! And please continue to review those ‘regular’ non-performance vehicles for us. A lot of us can’t afford the performance vehicles or they are not practical enough , etc.
Personally, I like the Altima. I know a lot of people complain about Nissan’s CVT being unreliable but my wife’s Altima has almost 300k miles with the original CVT. I know it’ll be time for a new car but I think that’s impressive and definitely a testament to Nissan’s reliability if you take car of the vehicle.

You truly are my favorite reviewer, awesome job! Keep up the fantastic work!
I set myself up for this because the first vehicle I financed was an 08 Altima followed by a 2010 G37 coupe and have been insistent on having the keyless ignition 😂😫. I really like the Camrys but you have to go into the upper trims. If they did away with the cvt it would be a no brainer. Thanks for the review Joe and Lori!
Just picked up my 2023 gray sky pearl 2.0 sr turbo. Very impressed. The cvt doesn't bother me and in sport mode this car picks up and takes off. Love the infotainment system and bose sound. The only zonk for me is when you use the camera system it only utilizes half the screen. I think its a waste not to utilize the entire 12.3.

All manufacturers are moving to CVT, so it "going away" isn't really an option. They just need to continue improving it.
My Wife had an Altima , Maxima and now a Murano Platinum . Excellent SUV .
I’ve owed a 2020 Altima SR and loved it. Lots of space, quiet ride, and amazing looks. The only reason why I got rid of it was scared the CVT would go out when the warranty expired. Plus they had this issue with throttle body going out, hopefully they fixed that.
It’s about time!!! Been waiting on this video
I have a 2020 Altima that has pretty high Milage and it’s been super reliable. Everybody always talks down on Nissan but my car has had no issues
Love the looks, and that color is fire! That being said, I won't buy another Nissan until they dump the CVT. Give me a standard auto, or better yet a manual, and I'll think about it. Also, the VC turbo is not available in AWD, and that's a shame.
Those wheels are killing it😮😍
Nissans are good brands but they do not know what engine choice to put in each cars and that’s the only reason people are sticking on to toyota even though it’s little more pricey and realibiity.great content J&L

For all those yowling about the CVT... in normal daily driving, it does just fine and it returns stellam mpg. I have a 2015 Altima with almost 203,000 miles on it - bought it new in July 2015 - and the CVT has been flawless. I change the CVT fluid every 50k miles and have always been a maintenance maven. The only unscheduled repair I've ever had was to replace the front right axle. I still get almost 38 MPG on the highway and 30 mpg combined city / highway. On long trips, a full tank of gas will take me almost 700 miles and that's with me averaging between 70-80 mph. Now, I wish I could get the Altima SR with a proper manual transmission. That would be an instant sale.
Love the review. If you could do a review on the Nissan Altima VC Turbo also that would be great 👍!!!

It is a great looking car. If this had a normal Trans with the 240hp, I'd get this. As of now, a K5 or G70 is my next option. Specifically because of Honda screwing up the Accord & the discontinuation of the Stinger. In addition, the Altima will NEVER get 40 large from me.
